The soldiers of the Ottoman Empire, Iran, and Tatarstan had fought bravely and valiantly, and had suffered for it, while Egypt was annexed with a whimper.
In its wake an uneasy status quo settled across the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea. The peace can not last. How long until it breaks down?
