Well this is a mess. Two vital power roles outed day two. Sorry for being inactive, don't have much else to say, we're pretty clear on what's happening. Will be very interesting to see the coming night.

Dr. Watkas final thoughts:

The killing of Ellf last night was oddly incongruous with what we know of the scum's situation, and remains oddly incongruous with everything that's come up since. It's a weird play for someone shielded by voting for Tankdrop when there's a strong narrative of "everyone on the wagon is scummy, everyone off it is not" and an incredibly dangerous one for a mafia caught in a compromising position.

Coleen Slater can come up very easily as Cleans Later, or with a little more work as Clean Slaughter.

Seriously? This is the second time you've done this. Can't you just call the end of the day and then post results and begin night later?
 
Well, I don't think Volt is a miller but it is possible that LDJ is insane with the conflicting descriptions between them and Tenfolds. Unless we find an alternative to vote for I'll throw mine in on Lupine.

We had a lot of activity since I fell asleep, and it's interesting that the judge/Wright can retroactively give us another day of discussion.

Preview says that one of Volt's Votes is red, but I see Orange and I can't change it on preview. Weird.

    • "Ahem...moving on." You wipe a few drops of sweat from your brow. The Judge could always put you off your game with some of his demands. "We had all agreed that [LupineVolt] was too suspicious to leave outside, so we voted to put him in jail as well."

    "Why not just put everyone in jail, though?" Turner asks. "Surely that would have been easier?"

    You shake your head. "Not at all; then we all would have simply been in the same cell, and we'd not only be in the same situation but we'd also have been a lot less comfortable. Besides..." You shrug, putting on an embarrassed grin. "I wasn't exactly in a position to argue when I didn't even know why I was there, ha ha!"

    "Quite, Mr. Wright. I hope you know now, at least."

    There's no last minute switch this time, no rechecking of the counts. The group decide, overwhelmingly, who needs to be taken care of. The man is bodily picked up and carried into the cell, unceremoniously dropped next to yesterday's choice. He grunts a bit in protestation, but before he can even get out a coherent complaint, the door slams shut in his face.

    The wallet, a rather fancy leather one, gets flipped open by someone closest to the door. 'Condy Lure'? No one in the group has heard of him before, but most of the information on the ID seems blatantly fabricated. If it ever passed muster in the first place it'd be a miracle; wearing a tuxedo for your license photo is one thing, but the sunglasses have to be illegal. The only way this would work is if he had had connections.

    @LupineVolt as Condy Lure has been Jailed.

    • The next morning is even messier than the one previous, to an extent that some of the group need to excuse themselves. Resting on the ground, if it can be called resting, is the body of a familiar face. Their torso looks crushed like a can, and it would appear that their head was the release valve.

    "Popped? Really?" The Judge looks somewhat queasy himself. "Couldn't they have just shot him or something? That sounds so...uncivilized. Not to mention messy!"

    "Yes, well, we were on a military base, Your Honor. The only people with guns there were the soldiers." You reflect upon it for a moment. "I think that, even if they did have guns, firing them would have made too much of an immediate commotion. It would have woken everyone up and drawn everyone to the scene of the crime. Can't exactly keep quiet in that scenario, can you?"

    "No, I suppose not, Mr. Wright." Turner leans forward. "Now, continue. I'd like to hear how things went afterwards."

    As far as I was aware, nothing happened to me last night.

    Gotta go read through the thread for all of TPK's posts.
