This Day, and Never Again (Fate/Zero AU) (Interest Check)

For future reference, I don't believe most Servants are able to magically sense another Servants exact location. Just if they're nearby, they'll know another Servant is nearby(if they don't have Presence Concealment or other such ability).

Traditional Caster', and Servants with Presence Detection are the one who can pull the 'you are precisely there' off. Maybe if you had a Noble Phantasm for it...

Dramatic showdown on the top floor is a-okay by me.

And people laughed when Entity used all of her skill slots to get multiple buffs for when she starts a fight by walking out of an elevator dramatically.

Wait, that hasn't been revealed yet.

Disregard. :V

Uh, more like "Berserker likes to jump. And break things.

And break things by jumping on them."

Basically, Berserker will be "dropping in" in more ways than one.

See, I discounted that, because you still need to sense people to jump on them. :V

Worth dying to see, but I'm pretty sure a good chuck of those skill points are sunk into MEoDP. If not, I definitely should have asked for more OP things on my character sheet. :p

As opposed to non-traditional Caster? (not a joke, serious question).

Traditional Caster: Medea, Tamamo-no-Mae, Cu Chulainn (Caster)
Non-traditional Caster: Hans Christian Anderson, William Shakespeare

The ones that have actual magecraft would be able to do that kind of thing. The authors and fakes could not.

Hey, I know that one! Blind Sniper, right?

MEoDP isn't actually on my character sheet, which is another one of the reasons I've been very careful not to use it as an "I win" button.

Don't discount Shakespeare as an effective Caster.

M'okay. And fakes being whom? I don't get out much beyond F/SN and Zero. :/

What, do you think Caster EMIYA could sense Servants? His Magecraft is literally "Projection and Reinforcement", neither of which lends itself to "sense enemy's location".
I don't think anything? Otherwise I wouldn't have asked the question.

Gilles de Rais: Fake. Has no actual ability to perform magecraft, his Noble Phantasm does magecraft by itself.
Nursery Rhyme: Kinda iffy on this one... could count as utilizing magecraft, might not. Maybe she actually knows how to do things, maybe she doesn't.
HCA: An author. Only powers come from weird things from his body of works. no actual magecraft to speak of.

Actually, let's just cut this off. If the Caster is a historical character and not a mythological one, their actual magecraft skills probably range from nonexistent to crappy.

so Team Shipping, is it your turn to describe what I find inside the hotel, or do I run around a bit?

It would appear @Diomedon has gone to bed, or is off for the night. I've sent them a PM to coordinate our quickly evolving initial response (since Sola will get the alert first but is asleep, and then Saber will get pinged, and then everyone will hear Truest Berserker crashing through the friggin' roof), so I'm waiting on that.

Much as I would love to have Saber straighten her jacket, steal a kiss from the gem of Ireland and go forth to slay the beast. :V

That's cool, just so we all reach an agreement on who's up at bat next.

Everyone wants to do that at least once in their lives.

Sorry everyone. Y'all have been waiting on me, but a water main burst in front of my building and that eat up all my free time at work. I'm pretty tired, but I think I can put together something in a few hours once I wake up from my nap.

...Explanation time.

I've been staring at the screen for about a month now, but the words 'let's go' always just make my brain go into shutdown. My apologies.

Mmmk, Imma just write my "and then they were at the forest" thing later today.
Thinking about the future... How do you want to do it - just one-two posts describing the thing, or make it the whole trip of Master/Servant bonding?

I was kinda hoping for the latter, but if the "let's go" thing is giving you trouble then I can get it done in a post.
No, no, no - I can do the whole thing. The only thing I had trouble with was answering this specific post.

Could you write that post getting us to the forest you've been talking about above and I'll take it from there?

@Azrael Didn't technically get a description of her per se, but here's what I'm thinking:

A handsome woman of average height with long curly auburn hair and laughing eyes. She wears black riding boots, cream breeches with a matching long-cut waistcoat and a gentleman's jacket in deep navy blue with lace at the wrists and throat.

@Mortifer

Berserker currently resembles a 2-and-a-half meter tall bear-man complete with fangs and claws.

He has forgotten his club is a thing, and so is trying to maul Saber.

What do I roll?

Well, for hitting Saber, roll 4d6. I don't remember if you have any unarmed combat skills, but if I'm forgetting one, add the modifier.

Actually, now that I think about it, maybe Instinct or Eye of the Mind could be used, unless there are any objections.

Instinct C.

Rolling.

Azrael threw 4 6-faced dice. Reason: Bear attack! Total: 14
3 3 3 3 6 6 2 2

Been a while, defense is Agility plus any pertinent bonuses?

Even if Bearkserker is a bit mad at the moment, this is a one-on-one fight non? :drevil:
