I was thinking more of "Persecuted religion that is against the Force on principle" (what with it being the treacherous Primarch Horus Xwhee Hound "Kanei" who betrayed the God Emperor and ended the Age of Peace) who fled to the Galactic Northwest to escape persecution.
Also as you advance in the faith you get more cybernetic implants and eventually become just a brain in a raptor war droid body.
