SayakaQuest Thread 10: Glory To The Death

Hell of a reward for such a drawn-out and brutal fight. Says something as to how many witches Wally absorbed, too.

So, once this is all said and done we can take a long vacation from being Meguca?

Hundreds of soul gems means 2*hundreds of cleanses. If we aren't fighting we only need a cleanse every week or so. So we can live off this seed for a decade or more.

Even if we split cleanses equally between all participants it'll last more than a year.

Why do I have the feeling that team Mitakihara is going have to guard the Fuck huge seed 24/7/365 from other magical girls once word gets out.

I just realized- the civvies may end up succumbing to altitude sickness. We are in the lower Stratosphere, after all. Only reason we aren't is because of Soul Gem BS.

Look, if we get them down alive we can definitely heal them.
If we get them down mostly in one piece, we will probably be able to heal them.
As long as the brain is intact and only freshly dead, we might be able to bring them back.

Lets aim for getting as many of them down alive as possible - alive, not necessarily uninjured, and if they're in any way comfortable we're probably burning magic we could be using for finding and getting those last few civvies down alive.

My solution for a safe zone would be to put the civvies we can get into one building, then keep it aloft as the city hits the ground. We'd do this using bestspears, good ol' fashioned chains, some jump platforms, and 1 Akane. Having them on the ground would be bad. They'd be caught in a shrapnel bomb, best case scenario.

Platforms to support the buildings/slow their fall so they're not caught in the impact and land afterwards.
I'm not putting too much hope on the platforms. We've only ever supported ourselves and one or two other people on them. We have no idea how durable they are. The bestspears might at least be durable enough though.

Well yeah, what I mean is that there's nothing to support the platforms.

The best we've got is massive bead net spamming far as I can tell.

They're not really meant to last so much as slow the buildings down enough for something clever to do the actual work.

[x] Proceed with plan. Bring Walpy's grief seed back to the falling city.
[x] Remain in timestop and locate the Tokyo Group as fast as possible. Bring them to the seed and fill them in on the plan.
-[x] If you find any civilians on the way, start grabbing them.
