Despite its colossal size, it moves with the fluidity of a normal person.
Ah, the previous post didn't really convey its proper size. I was imagining something a bit closer to human scale; perhaps a few times taller, not something that can shake the entire city when it lands from a jump.
So, our offense (+40) vs its defense (+120) means that statistically, we have a
2% chance of a roll that matches or beats Walpurgis. An offensive boost puts it a little under 5%. If we manage bonuses from combo attacks (like with Mami), we can reach as high as an 18% chance.
That's without QM penalty for poor planning, or our crappy dice luck.
Defensively, we're at a 29% to 37% (with defensive boost) chance of defending against an attack, though that can go as high as 60% with a great shield and helmet. For example, if we'd been full turtle against that last attack, it would have been 202 vs its 206.
I will strongly suggest we try to focus on tanking over attacking. We are the single strongest defensive unit on our team, while most everyone else is probably at least on par with us offensively (Homura and Chou being likely exceptions).
Someone like Akane will vastly outpower anything Sayaka can dish out, and evidence indicates that Kyouko should have a similar edge. We do have the problem that Walpurgis has pretty easy AOE attacks, so that trying to individually defend people is unlikely to work well, but I think we'll be better off giving the others openings to attack — playing shield, and giving the others the option of using
their offensive boost-like capabilities (trading defense for more offense).
Also, we should take a look at what the audience is doing, and if we can see any civilians from our current perch.
