SayakaQuest Thread 10: Glory To The Death

Witches capable of fighting everyone at once might have bigger grief seed drops. And it seems to me we're all in this together until the Walawalawala Night. It just makes sense to me to train more often and fight witches in a group to prevent meguca death.
While the megucablob strategy is effective to a point, and training does need to happen- seperate farming groups are much more efficient and training's already a given. Superwitches are far, far too dangerous to want to farm for the grief seed alone.

If anything, we need to work on winning over Sukuyo and maybe improve Sayaka's passives/existing abilities.

I think we should have one other person than Kyouko with us when hunting, maybe one of the newbies so they can pick up experience and learn how to work in a group effectively. And the Superwitch was very dangerous to farm for grief seeds, but I'm thinking more in the direction of 'we did almost die and not in the fake almost die' and 'who knows if the dice will turn sour like that again' and 'Kyouko really doesn't like us almost dying' so having another meguca there will alleviate for real dying chances. I agree that we should work on winning over Sukuyo and improving Sayaka's abilities totally.

Possible, but Akane and duckling herding is working fine and the KyoSaya team does have the firepower to stomp most things. Sukuyo, maybe.

Us actually dying to even a superwitch pre-Walpurgisnight would take a lot of bad choices and cursed dice. Or the return of the wire fetish, one or the other.

Oooor we could stay the fuck away from superwitches and take on witches in our own size.
Face it, we're probably going to kill a superwitch if we run into another because >Sayaka. Even if the Koko persuades her to run, it'll have awful effects down the road because LOL GUILT.

I just think it's a bad idea to not offer more substantial changes to how we operate so we can alleviate Kyouko's fears some more. This is obviously distressing her significantly and she seems to believe we don't care enough about our safety. Doing something different will show we do care about our safety. And taking Sukuyo with us is a good idea, we can strike up a friendship with her in witch hunting and we have a third party to help us.

Not being in contact with Akane was our biggest failing this time.
CELL PHONE. NOW OR FIRST THING IN THE MORNING.

But no, playing smarter was something we could've done with the Skadi. Homura showed up, we charged the thing's foot on our own. Try voting for more coordinated attacks, instead of working independently towards the same goal.

We do need to deal with Kyoukotrauma and we're approaching the deadline. It's the fourth time it's come up with breakdowns, so....yeah, kind of a pressing issue for the Quest.

Urghh... I can see Ugolino's point all too well here, but on the other hand Kyouko has really been through the emotional wringer today, and I'm really dubious about adding to that. I honestly have no idea which way to vote.

Yeah I get that too. Thing is, this is going to be an unplesant talk no matter how we bring it up and what happened today hit way too close to home. I don't like it but now is a good time to talk about this.
