Added a couple conditionals that might lead to that, depending on their judgement. Have to just hope, now. Bedtime.
It might even reach the refugee center.Gonna have to be that guy right now. If several miles of ocean floor just got lifted up, and out, and dropped back into the ocean, the tsunami that should be in the making would certainly do the job we just averted, and absolutely wreck the city.
You know, over my time DM'ing a campaign, do you know what the number 1 reason my players fail is? Not stupidity, not bad dice rolls, no.Gonna have to be that guy right now. If several miles of ocean floor just got lifted up, and out, and dropped back into the ocean, the tsunami that should be in the making would certainly do the job we just averted, and absolutely wreck the city.
Thanks for letting me know. No, not gonna do this. The reason I just did that is to showcase the scale of what you just barely averted. It was not meant to be a moment of "OH FUCK YOU'RE RUINED ANYWAY" but more of "THIS COULD BE YOU IF THE NEXT ONE HITS." Anyway, rewrote it so that it's the port side of the city, which has already been abandoned. The Tsunami that will inevitably happen will start here, but it won't be as strong as it will be elsewhere in the world.Gonna have to be that guy right now. We want to focus on one, really.Rereading Ugo's vote, considering a change: Akane and Kagura keep working on the shaft, while Sayaka tries to jam up the gears with explosive swords. Thoughts? Not sure how much access we have to crunchy gear workings.
Unfortunately the only correct choice would be to continue to attack Wally directly. If it continues attempting it's TPK attack at the same rate as before, assisting our allies on the ground would take away precious time to interrupt its next attempt, which would kill everyone, ground forces included. We want to focus on one, really.
Also, for familiars? We probably want everyone in one place. If something goes wrong and one group's in trouble (ie: ground gets overwhelmed) this could get ugly and we'd need to make an unpleasant choice- leave the gear for a rescue or hope they can survive their share of familiars.
Bringing them up doesn't really make us any more vulnerable to AOE and adds firepower for when the familiar spam happens. It's worth bringing them up now to avoid that scenario altogether.Unfortunately the only correct choice would be to continue to attack Wally directly. Still, I feel like bringing them up here is like putting up an enormous neon sign saying "UNLEASH AOE HERE", so I'm not really sure what to do on that one.
They aren't, I think. That's probably going to change but since familiars can spawn out of thin air...leaving them down there doesn't help us at all and splits the party. If AOE got us here, we'd already be completely screwed. Two more meguca won't make much of a difference there. We should try to get an idea of what they're dealing with down there first, though. For all we know, they're up to their eyeballs in familiars right now.

Unfortunately i can't find small tsunami picture and the situation is still quite badActually, it wouldn't be that bad since its just off the shore. So there isn't too much volume between the crashing seabed and the shore. Still enough to flood a few homes, but there just isn't enough displaced water available to be a "OH GOD WE DUN GOOFED" thing.
The fact that Homura actually has an estimate on the time between firings is disturbing.'That's the question of the day, isn't it? It's usually fifteen minutes per firing.'
Have them help on Walpurgis, then move to meet the familiars when they rush?[] Tell Ran and Chou to get up here and start attacking, nothing going on down on the ground anyway.
I think we should get those two up here. It's not like they'll accomplish much down there even if the familiar rush does happen.
