SayakaQuest Thread 10: Glory To The Death

I haven't actually finished reading the quest, but I thought I'd give you guys this. It's basically my drawing of a pistol hilt with six slots for blades. I can't really imagine Sayaka using it as a sword since it'd be DAMN impractical if all six slots are filled in.

That fires KNIVES!
Time to bring it to a gunfight!
 
Oh hai @Tam Lin, and welcome aboard.

Well, actually Sayaka has something akin to a pistol that fire blades (actually it fires pins, and cost 0 corruption).

Also, she got a lecture from Hom's about how to man a gun.

You bring your fist back before you send it screaming towards a nearby eye as you fly past. A burst of flame erupts from it, before you watch an eye pop on the surface of the witch. The creature screams in agony, before the molten metal quickly cools. Immediately, the entire thing glares towards you, before it sends the remains of its molten leg right towards you.




A red-hot tentacle impales your midsection. You can feel your innards melting and erupting in flame as the heat sends fire bursting from your mouth.

You scream in pain and horror, before you glare at the witch. Despite the pain, you can still fight, can't you? You're body's a shell. It's a tool.

And you're going to goddamn use it.

You punch away the tentacle and your feet slam against a nearby bucket. The entire thing is loosened by your impact, and some bits of the witch's melting leg disintegrate, as the warped gravity pulls it away from the witch.

'Ako! Yuri! Get clear!' Your fist burns as fire lines your entire body. The hole in your stomach bursts into flame as you do a soaring leap backwards. You use the extra hole as a kind of jet, propelling yourself to another bucket.

The witch screeches as both Ako and Yuri climb off of the witch's body by way of one of its legs.

Your feet slam on the bucket's surface, and as soon as you hit it, the bucket begins to break apart. Without a pause, you take your fist back and punch.





You punch the bucket, and with that, comes an enormous explosion. The bucket in front of you explodes like an enormous shotgun, and your firefist causes a shockwave that sends all debris away from you. The bucket you're standing on breaks apart, with the debris scattering backwards from you thanks to the force of your punch.

Bits and pieces of bucket pepper the witch's surface, before a burning mass slams into one of its eyes. It lets out a loud, pained groan as multiple eyes on its surface are shattered, as multiple legs melt and fall away. Partially blinded, the metal cools on its surface, and you see some of it dripping into a hole on the witch's face.

You hit another bucket, and immediately, you see it; a clean, gaping hole in the witch's face where a bucket would otherwise be! You have no idea how you missed this...and as though to confirm something, both Ako and Yuri land on the now-cooled flat surface on the witch. They stand still as the witch clumsily crashes through more lines of molten buckets. They fall in multiple directions, as the chain reaction from earlier grows more and more hectic.
