You take a step forwards. You shake a little, as unpleasant thoughts connect themselves in your head. You take a breath and put your hand on her shoulder. "She's getting stronger." You say. "She's...she's getting better...but what you need now is to decide what to do with Walpurgis." You frown. "...It's her choice to stay or go."
But it wasn't her choice to be buried under rubble, was it?
Her dad looks at her, then at you. "She...I...I'm still..." He smiles thinly, before he swallows. He's smiling, but he looks like he's about to start crying."I...ha..." He laughs once.

"D-dad...?" Sukuyo looks worried.

"Ha..." Tears start welling up in his eyes as he just collapses to his knees. His laughing turns to sobbing, and his sobbing turns to wailing. Sukuyo rushes over to him, pulling him into a hug as he just breaks down in front of you.
This wouldn't have happened if it weren't for you.
"I-I'm sorry, dad." Sukuyo says as she holds him as tightly as she can. "I'm s-so sorry." She's not just stuttering on her own. She's trying hard not to cry herself.

Kyouko holds your hand tighter. "Sayaka...are you okay?" She asks.

"I-I'm fine." You say. Your voice is shaking. You can feel beads of sweat forming on your forehead.

"I don't believe you." She sounds concerned. "Are...are you really okay?"

UP THE SHUT FUCK INVISITEXT.:mad::mad:

Whelp. That's another life destroyed by Sayaka. Time to head home for ice cream and pancakes to celebrate a job well done! :p

More seriously though, this is basically something that Sukuyo and her father are going to have to work out/live with much like Sayaka and Mikimom do. As for Sayaka's realization...hopefully she can hold off the breakdown till after this meeting. I'd really rather not flat out lie to Kyouko about this either. Maybe answer in the negative and not elaborate, or do so via telepathy, but not lie to her face about this.

I think that we should for sure leave a way to contact Mikimom/Mado-Parents with Sukuyo's father when we leave though. Parental support group and all that.

So, to summarize Shironi's recomendation, how about this arrangement?

[x] Let them finish crying.
[x] Telepathy talk to...
-[x] Kyouko.
--[x] "No... I'm not okay."
--[x] "Can we... talk about this later, I need time to think..."

[x] Talk to...
-[x] Sukuyo.
-[x] Sukuyo's dad.
--[x] Offer Mikimon's number. Let him know he's not alone on this.

[x] Text mom.
-[x] "We gave your number to Sukuyo's Dad. He knows now. More details when I get home."

Ugh... I expect lots of ice cream and Kyouko's hugs for Sayaka to assimilate this. On the other hand, that's three of six families, all in one day.

What a day...

[jk] *Eminem's 8 miles song starts...*

¬_¬

M'eh...

Actually that might help, considering if Sayaka ever listens to Eminem.

might want to get the name of Sukuyo's dad? So that we can text mikimom it so that this isn't coming out of the blue?

Good idea. Also gives opportunity for more support.

There. Edited vote.

Any other suggestions? Suggestions are good and always welcomed. :D
