She looks at the ground, then at you. She takes the gem off her finger, and you take a look at it.

"...Yeah, th-that looks bad." You say. Without question, you move to take a grief seed out of your bag, before she stops you.

"You've wasted enough right now." She says. "You...you don't need to waste more on me."

"But I-"

"I know you do." Kyouko says. "...Because you're you. You're just you." She smiles at you thinly and wipes her eyes, before she presses a seed against her own gem. She takes a breath. "...There." She tosses it aside, and it's promptly eaten up by Kyubey.

You stare at her, before she gives you a tight hug around your waist and presses her head under the crook of your neck. You pause, before you return the hug. "...are you okay, now?"

She tightens it. "...Fuck no." She murmurs.

"...Then maybe some food can fix that." You say. "...okay?"

She shakes her head. "...okay." She hugs you closely. "Okay."

A brief run-down? I wonder if Homura can still feel surprised:

"So, we've got a gaggle of previously brainwashed, hopefully repentant murderer girls grieving for their actions and for one of their friends. Don't kill them, I'm trying to recruit them for Walpurgis.

Also, Kyouko is self-destructing on me so I'm gonna try to stuff a whole lot of food down her throat and see if that helps any. Thank you for your time."
