We should probably save the superwitch revelation for later, at least they're probably going to stick around and help fight it after Sayaka shows them mercy.
 
And even if they aren't, they're probably a useful group for boosting the speed/efficiency of our Witch hunts. Three groups going Witch-hunting, with Sayaka and Kyouko as the reserve force for if one of the other two gets in over their heads? We can probably farm Witches en-masse before Walpurgis arrives.

Duly noted, but it's the best call in this situation. The argument for writing them off in all but name's much too optimistic, seeds are important but ultimately the benefits outweigh the costs, and from a purely pragmatic point of view, they're potential skilled fodder for Walpurgisnacht and an entire third group of Witch farmers. At this point, the newbie seems like definitely salvagable, Ako's our way to keep Cannon-Ex stable and sane, and we can likely handle two megucas' guilt complexes. Balancing this with the rest will be tricky, sure, but by no means undoable.

Going to point out once more, Ugo. There aren't actually enough witches to farm them with this many girls. Moid is going to make us pay for this, dearly.

...And yet, that situation hasn't changed since we found out about them. Not seeing the all-consuming need to boot them out now for the sake of the seeds, or how we justify that. The limit on our Witch-farming has effectively always been the number of skilled megucas.
 
So, some teams are going to come back with "We search all bridges, tops of skyscrapers, the schools and the hospital. No witches."?

How about going...to suicide forest if we are THAT desperate?

That hasn't happened to date and we'll deal with it when it happens. Mitakihara being the murderhole Witch capitol of Japan means we're unlikely to run out either.

No; we don't have an excuse to know about that yet and in any event that'd need a much better force than even a best case scenario group we can put together right now.

I wouldn't write them off but they really can't stay. The best option IMO is to investigate the prospect of a new hunting ground and setting them up there. We can ask them to return to help against Walpurgisnacht when it arrives. IIRC Tokyo and Kasamino aren't terribly good places. We should send them to whatever city Kazumi takes place in, because fuck Kazumi.

No, seriously, it really would rather than sending them into the plot of That Series, and I'm not just saying that because of what tends to happen to feral megucas in it.

Any ideas for new hunting grounds if we did go with that idea?

I think Moid said he really doesn't want to include the Kazumi plotline which is why I suggested the place.

Kyoko was top dog at Kasamino, though. We all remember Emiko's reaction to meeting her. I'm sure she could help them get set up if it comes to that. Anywhere else would require somewhat extensive reconnaissance.

Isn't it kind of famous? A spot known for its suicides should come up sooner or later if the characters have a need to brainstorm good hunting locations.

SayakaDad is another plothook for finding out about that, since he got eaten there.

Ehhh. We'd need a concrete idea if we made that suggestion, and can always change tack later to that from our initial "they can stay".
 
Well, it seems like the overall crises has been averted. As long as we keep these girls stable, we've got more cannon fodder I mean assets to use against WhoopiGoldbergNight.
Even if we are stressing the limit of how many Meguca Mitakihara can support in terms of sustainable Witch population, it is going to be a while before we see the impact this causes. Especially with the influx of witches old Walla Walla is causing. Best course of action right now? Farm. Farm like mad. Train like mad. WomanizerNight is coming and we are nowhere near prepared.
 
Grief seed starvation will be an issue ... someday. Cross today's bridges today.
First thing, stabilize these girls. Heal them up, Comfort food, hot showers all around. Let them know they can stay for now, even if Mitikihara won't sustain all of us forever. Let the ducklings know so they can help the emotional patching.

Give it all some time before we break WN to them, that's a job for another update.

And kicking them out if that's the way thing end up, is again a job for AFTER they're safe.

Oh, and find time to apologize to Kyoko. For risking her so much, for getting her hurt, for throwing so much effort into girls who seemed a lost cause. But hey, we tended our own injuries too this time. We're getting better.
 
Yes, we definitely owe Kyouko a big-ass apology. We risked her life for a psychopath. Sure, that's in character, but she got hurt for it, and we need to express how much we regret that.
Then Kokohugs.
