SayakaQuest Thread 10: Glory To The Death

Warning: incoming mentaI diarrhea...

I forget what the stance on Rosso Fantasma was. I recall someone saying Moid said it was pretty much a necessity to have when fighting Walpurgis, but then someone else said Moid said there wasn't a chance in hell that we'd be able to untangle Kyouko's complexes to the point where it's available within the timespan of the quest. Basically a lot of hearsay.

While we definitely want to get on track with helping bestgirl, how much time do we want to devote to it knowing that, in all likelihood, we won't solve anything? Personally, I'm still for having a go at it simply for the sake of the narrative. On the other hand, there are more tangible benefits from pursuing other objectives like training, hunting, coordinating the evacuation, etc., leaving little time for therapy as anything more than an afterthought.

And yeah, at this point fluff is right out except as a band-aid.

Rosso is possible but difficult, and Kyoukotherapy's definitely somewhere on the "try to do" list.

What Ugo said. Rosso is possible, but difficult. Kyou therapy can even be slotted as talks before bed, so it's not like we're dropping anything else if we decide to do it at that time. Naturally, there will be much angst, crying, and suffering on both sides if we try. Trauma sucks, but we should have enough seeds to clense what corruption it causes, and given how unhealthy Saya/Kyou's relationship is, I doubt we can deal any permenent damage to said relationship. It'll suck for everyone, we might not even be able to do it anymore, but I think the rewards are worth good enough to try. Plus, helping Kyouko deal with Trauma is never a bad thing.

That said, it's highly likely that we won't be able to unlock the full dozen or so clones of Kyouko. I think we can all see that giving Kyouko the ability to spam a dozen clones every fight, coupled with her large stock of seeds, would break all combat for the rest of the quest, Walpurgis aside. At best I'd guess we'd get somewhere around 2-3 clones with a high cost. So it'd basically be Kyouko's Trump Card rather than a spammable skill. Still, one can never have too many Trump Cards.

~Edit~

Also, with Rosso Phantasm unlocked, Sayaka gets to watch identical clones of Kyouko take injuries all day erry day for maximum trauma. At least this way it evens the battlefield trauma as both girls take trauma from the others combat power.

[x] Go inside.

You do that.

[x] Talk to...
-[x] Madodad.
-[x] Say "Hi" and stuff and ask to see Madoka.

"Uh...hello." You say. "Can I go see Madoka?"

He laughed a little. "She's currently with Homura upstairs."

"Okay." You smile. "Thanks."

You and Kyouko head up and, when you reach her room, you can immediately see both Homura and Madoka lying down on the floor, with Madoka's arms wrapped around Homura's waist and her head buried in her hair. Homura herself just seems content, and she has a small smile on her face.

D'awwwww. I'm seriously getting an opening-of-the-madoka-movies vibe. You know, when they lie in a field of flowers during the op song. It will never last. [Shadowruns_intensifying]

D'awww. That's almost cute enough to make me forget that not two days ago we told Madoka about Walpurgis coming to kill everyone in 7 days, and that she found out about Homura time looping for ages for her and how Madoka just kept fucking everything up for her now girlfriend.

Good to see that Sayaka's unhealthy method of distracting herself from the trauma has rubbed off on everyone else. Too bad that we're likely to drop the hammer on Madoka's parents today though.
