A Death Note quest by Laurent? I'm in.

Because it seems like a much more interesting character, though it's a bit odd given the opening post talking to a coroner as part of what seems to be a regular police station. Does this have a set gender? I'd prefer a woman since pretty much every Death Note character with actual agency in the story is a dude.
 
I'm just excited overall — what we do first is more important to me than who we are

And obviously we've got good think-tanks on that regardless of who wins CX

Well since no one seems to want to fly free in the sky I'm changing to NemoMarx plan. Go, go genderfluid Columbo. We get to do the "Ah one more thing." at least once yes?
 
If we are going for plan Nemo which heavily involves disguises and lying about our identity, why not have cosplay as a hobby? that way, we would have both passion and talent in this subject, probably making our disguises near flawless.

Note, with each thing like that, people are going to treat you more and more chuuni. :V And not always in a good/useful way.

Like, my vision of the police department is somewhere between The Wire and Anime. Between them being the key word.

Also, I'm not sure what I'll do if you find a good "Anime Opening Theme" song for this Quest, but I'll do something. Obviously not just the one Death Note used, probably? I'm going to organize this by Episodes.

Anyways why are so many people voting for investigating the school first? Because its a low hanging fruit with little risk involved?
Im a little more inclined to follow the would be murderer lead to learn why would he try to off the victim, and its something that can still be covered up with just a routine investigation Ma'm/Sir. Or go for the Director one and try to learn why anyone would want him dead at all. But I'm sure we can still open these avenues in a later vote so not too worried about going for the easy stuff first.
