Well let's write a little analysis of each before we start voting
(First Chase) …Illya, Taiga, and Shirou hurrying out of the house in the middle of the night, while Irisviel was trying to calm both Miyu and Kuro down so everyone could sleep.
Probably is good for the adults as we can step in and take care of the problems. Not so good as it does not give the kids much room to grow if the adults are taking care of everything

Naw, its the jewel seed and the pool monster was probably the most benign of all those so far.
The thing is that starting too early can also throw off Nanoha getting her essentials, or introduce the adults/mages at the wrong side of the fighting.
The pool is the balance where they're skilled enough to be allowed to do their thing, but no major hostiles and we can have everyone stop trying to keep secrets from their friendgroups.
Temple is just after Nanoha fights the superdog with only Protection. She's still too unskilled there to back out.
If it didn't involve tentacles, I'd agree.
Although the earlier option being able to include Shinji and Sakura is also nice.

Arisa Bannings is a friend of Nanoha's. She has the ability to learn magic, but is less talented than Nanoha. She's foreign, wealthy and tsunderish. Ex-bully. Nanoha befriended her and showed her the light by slapping her.

Yuuno is a ten-year old mage from planet Mid-childa which has loose child labour laws. He's an archealogist and later librarian. Smart,a powerful barrier mage and good at multitasking. He's less strong than most of the main characters, but is almost impossible to injure. He's injured and masquerading as a ferret to conserve energy. He discovered the Jewel Seeds and accidentally got them scattered over Earth. He's trying to get them back and be responsible. Jewel Seeds are very dangerous reality warping time-space destroying artifacts and react to wishes.

Specialises in lightning magic. She's a clone of her mother's daughter but doesn't know that. The women with wolf ears is Arf, her familiar. Arf can switch between humanoid, wolf and puppy forms. She can fight well but specialises in support. She is loyal to Fate and hates Precia (Fate's mother) for abusing her.

Year 3: Entry Into the Jewel Seed Conflict
It was a hot spring day that day in late April, with heat so hot it might make one mistake the season for summer. Irisviel was on chaperone duty with Kyouya Takamachi while the two of them took Shirou, Illya, Nanoha, Suzuka, and Arisa to the pool, with a ferret that Nanoha had adopted tagging along on her shoulder. With Hina Tsukimura keeping an eye on both Miyu and Kuro at her mansion, and the car keys firmly in the grasp of Kyouya, there was little reason for things to go wrong.
Naturally, they did.
Illya had to stop her mother from knocking down the barrier between the men's dressing room and the women's dressing room, while Shirou 'borrowed' Nanoha's new ferret and took it into the men's dressing room. There was some discussion of Shirou between the girls, with Nanoha and Illya becoming rivals at the latter's declaration, but nothing major occurred in the changing room.
For the first fifteen minutes in the pool, there weren't any problems either. Shirou and Illya were greeted warmly by the fully grown and older women in the pool on account of their being cute, and all five of the children that Irisviel was supposed to be watching enjoyed splashing about in the pool (though Illya and Nanoha got into a splashing contest).
And then the tentacle demon appeared.
It was made of water, and easily see-through, and while most of its tentacles waved wildly, a few of them moved slowly towards a few of the young women in the pool.
Immediately, Illya started shouting orders and projecting wires to pull people out of the pool. Nanoha ran back into the changing rooms, while Shirou quickly projected and tossed a couple of Black Keys so that Arisa could use them. The ferret started speaking in a human tongue as a bounded field fell over the pool area, and Suzuka dived into the water.
After a few seconds passed as Shriou projected himself another Black Key, the tentacle demon was repelled from the young women by a green barrier that suddenly appeared in front of them. The base of the tentacle demon grew solid as it started to freeze and the ice continued to grow upwards. Arisa started chanting while swinging the Black Keys that Shirou had given her at a few stray tentacles. Shirou repeated her words and actions on the other side of the demon, listening to Arisa and repeating the rite she stated. Suzuka came up for air and grasped her head, before Arisa paused, stating she forgot how to finish the rite, before she remembered. Both Arisa and Shirou intoned 'Kyrie, Eleison,' and stabbed their Black Keys at the demon.
It had no effect.
It was at that point Nanoha returned with a staff in her hands, sending a bolt of energy at the ice statue the demon had become. It shattered, revealing a blue gemstone floating in midair for several moments before the girl projected pink ribbons from her staff and grabbed it, drawing the gem into the staff.
The conflict didn't even take a minute.
Then, Illya sent around and started hypnotizing most of the people around the pool, to make them all forget that there was a tentacle demon.
The five kids quietly made their exit as the bounded field fell and the projections Shirou made all disappeared. There was some explaining that they needed to do.
Later, at the Tsukimura mansion, Irisviel got the children to start explaining, which was started off by Nanoha's ferret, who was actually a boy their age but preferred to stay in his ferret form to save mana.
Yuuno Scrya introduced himself as an archeologist hailing from a tribe on a far-off world that had been nearly wiped out. He was apologetic with how he hadn't come forward and spoken with the adults before, but considering the feel he had gotten off of the first adult who had been aware of magic, he had been hesitant to try to contact anyone other than the children he was working with.
The boy had been transporting a set of Lost Logia, a set of twenty-one 'Jewel Seeds' when the ship with the Logia was attacked, causing the Logia to be scattered over Japan and his ship to crash into the ocean about six months ago. Seeing that Lost Logia were artifacts that were once part of an ancient civilization, and had the potential to be very powerful or dangerous, it had been policy until a couple years ago to find the artifacts and seal them so that they couldn't be used, but could be observed so that they could be learned from.
There is a reason for that policy change.
Yuuno Scrya was also a member of the Time Space Administration Bureau, or TSAB for short. Founded by the Grand Marshall hundreds of years ago, its duty was to maintain the peace and order in the worlds that it could reach. Considering the fact that all the worlds it touched effectively made up a multiverse, a kaleidoscope, its reach was very far indeed.
Though interactions with this particular world had been rather light, to Yuuno's knowledge. This 'Earth' was Unadministered World #98, and nothing of note happened on this particular world to Yuuno's knowledge.
The capital of the multiverse where all the administered worlds contact each other is called Mid-Childa, the city in the center of a multiverse. Also founded by the Grand Marshall hundreds of years ago, it used to be the place where things occurred in the local multiverse.
There is a reason why the power it is wielding is rapidly fading.
Magic is surprisingly common, compared to the magecraft of Earth. It was science based, compared to intent-based of magecraft. Almost everyone had magic potential, a 'linker core', which allowed one to gather mana and store it within to use for spells. Use a lot, and one could wind up in the ward. Use too much, and the mage would drop dead.
A lot of mages have been dropping dead from using too much mana in the past few years.
For spells, a mage would usually use a certain type of mystic code, called a 'Device', to channel the mana into the desired spell. From healing to blasting, there was usually a Device for that.
Most Devices these days were used only once before their owners dropped dead.
Ten years ago, on one of their routine patrol missions, a group of agents of the TSAB encountered a large cross floating in space, thousands of meters long. When contact was attempted, it used unseen before magic to heavily damage the patrol ship, causing the patrol to retreat. A report was made, but no one thought much of it until five years later, when the Cross reached a world that the Bureau controlled.
There were no survivors.
Ever since then, the TSAB has been in a state of constant war, trying, and failing, to drive back the Cross. Countless weapons researched, worlds lost, and people destroyed. All to no effect. The worlds it leaves are lands filled with graves, and nothing so far has even scratched the Cross, let alone destroy it.
Desperate for more people, the TSAB expanded its recruitment to anyone who could do something that might make a difference in some way against the Cross, whether leading people, researching possible weapons, using said weapons, or trying to research some Lost Logia that might be able to turn the tide.
Last year, Yuuno was dispatched to recover the 'Jewel Seeds', a set of twenty-one blue gems that, according to what Yuuno was told, had a self-defense program that kicks in when the Jewels are in danger that his superior, Officer Akerman, hoped to trick into actually causing some damage against the Cross.
At this point, Illya expressed her belief that Yuuno was lied to, considering she had tracked the activator of the latest Jewel Seed to Kyouya Takamachi, who promptly clammed up. Eventually, with many threats with wires, all he said was that if he did activate it, he did it unintentionally.
Regardless, Yuuno had to locate the twenty-one Jewel Seeds, retrieve them, and then get transport off the planet to get his delivery to his superior. He was skilled with shield spells and healing spells (his work involved a few nasty traps), as well as a variant of a bounded field that prevented whatever was inside from drawing the attention of the outside… usually. He also possessed an 'Intelligent Device', a Device that had a degree of self-intelligence, for self-defense, even if he couldn't use it himself.
'Raising Heart', said Intelligent Device, had originally been developed to fight the Cross, but after a full power blast caused no effect on the target and knocked out the original user, it had been tossed out. Yuuno suspects that Akerman 'officially' gave him a device he couldn't use to shore up the boy's offences. Unofficially, he suspects that Akerman held something against him.
After losing the Jewel Seeds and making his way to Japan, he located one in the possession of a 'Magical Girl Kaleido Ruby' in a town named Fuyuki, before a man calling himself 'the Bloody Page' found Yuuno in ferret form and tossed him out of the territory he was going to claim. Yunno made his way south to discover the greatest concentration of Jewel Seeds in Uminari.
He located a Jewel Seed in the woods, where its self-defense program had activated, wounding Yuuno and escaping.
It was at that point that Shirou, Nanoha, Suzuka, and Arisa entered the picture, and Suzuka took over telling the story. Shirou was escorting the three girls to cram school, when, while on a shortcut to there, all four of them heard a voice, and they hurried over to discover Yuuno in his ferret form. They took him to a veterinarian, from where he mentally sent out a distress call that night due to a Jewel Seed attack.
The call brought out not only those four, but also Illya and Taiga, as well as the two Matou siblings. Taiga promptly blasted the Jewel Seed monster with Kaleidostick Ruby, something that appeared to be a local Intelligent Device, destroying the creature that had been formed from the self-defense program. Before anyone else could figure out how to seal it to prevent it from reactivating for a time, though, a man that Sakura and Shinji identified as 'grandfather' did so with the local magic, claiming the Seed for his own, saying that little children need to know how to deal with such toys before playing with them.
Yuuno tried to convince the man to surrender the Jewel Seed, but all he did was make the man interested in studying the magecraft of the Jewel, leading Sakura and Shinji away because it was past their bedtime.
Also, the man gave a presence that really spooked Yuuno.
Afterwards, Yunno explained the situation to the remaining kids, and because she was the only person without some means to defend herself, Yuuno gave Raising Heart to Nanoha. While she hasn't been able to use it at full power yet, she has gotten enough down so that she can now seal Jewel Seeds.
And after the interaction with the Matou grandfather, Yuuno was hesitant to trust the adult mages of the area.
The children also spoke with each other and Yuuno, informing him of what they knew of the Moonlit World, surprising Nanoha and making Yuuno wonder why no one of the TSAB had contacted this particular world yet.
The plan that the children had come up with boiled down to get Nanoha trained with Raising Heart and split into two groups, with Taiga in the lone group. Taiga was able to fight and seal the Jewel Seeds with Kaleidostick Ruby on her own, with enough firepower in the Kaleidostick to potentially deal with any problems that might show up. Everyone else would stick with the other group for the moment, relying on teamwork to do the job because they were currently unable to accomplish their goals separately. Both groups would try to locate and seal the Seeds, drawing as little attention as possible, and try to beat Grandfather Matou to the rest of the Seeds.
Taiga had managed to seal a Seed last week at the local temple, even if her efforts left a small crater there, and Nanoha managed to seal the Seed at the pool that day with effort, and no one really knew a thing. The only failure was the idea that Arisa had come up with to try to seal the Seed, which had failed to have an effect.
It was at that point Yuuno received a telepathic message from Taiga, who had apparently just recovered from having been mugged with Kaleidostick Ruby by a flying woman with a sword, a flying girl with a hammer, and a ground-bound girl with ribbons under her control. They had left Taiga alive, but had stolen most of her prana supply and the Jewel Seed. The Intelligent Device assured everyone that Taiga would recover, but she was going to be out of action for a week or so.
One seed. Out of twenty-one.
The children had a plan, but if others are going to be searching for Jewel Seeds as well, it might not be enough.

The conflict didn't even take a minute.
Then, Illya sent around and started hypnotizing most of the people around the pool, to make them all forget that there was a tentacle demon.
The five kids quietly made their exit as the bounded field fell and the projections Shirou made all disappeared. There was some explaining that they needed to do.
Later, at the Tsukimura mansion, Irisviel got the children to start explaining, which was started off by Nanoha's ferret, who was actually a boy their age but preferred to stay in his ferret form to save mana.
Yuuno Scrya introduced himself as an archeologist hailing from a tribe on a far-off world that had been nearly wiped out. He was apologetic with how he hadn't come forward and spoken with the adults before, but considering the feel he had gotten off of the first adult who had been aware of magic, he had been hesitant to try to contact anyone other than the children he was working with.
The boy had been transporting a set of Lost Logia, a set of twenty-one 'Jewel Seeds' when the ship with the Logia was attacked, causing the Logia to be scattered over Japan and his ship to crash into the ocean about six months ago. Seeing that Lost Logia were artifacts that were once part of an ancient civilization, and had the potential to be very powerful or dangerous, it had been policy until a couple years ago to find the artifacts and seal them so that they couldn't be used, but could be observed so that they could be learned from.
There is a reason for that policy change.
Yuuno Scrya was also a member of the Time Space Administration Bureau, or TSAB for short. Founded by the Grand Marshall hundreds of years ago, its duty was to maintain the peace and order in the worlds that it could reach. Considering the fact that all the worlds it touched effectively made up a multiverse, a kaleidoscope, its reach was very far indeed.
Though interactions with this particular world had been rather light, to Yuuno's knowledge. This 'Earth' was Unadministered World #98, and nothing of note happened on this particular world to Yuuno's knowledge.
The capital of the multiverse where all the administered worlds contact each other is called Mid-Childa, the city in the center of a multiverse. Also founded by the Grand Marshall hundreds of years ago, it used to be the place where things occurred in the local multiverse.
There is a reason why the power it is wielding is rapidly fading.
Magic is surprisingly common, compared to the magecraft of Earth. It was science based, compared to intent-based of magecraft. Almost everyone had magic potential, a 'linker core', which allowed one to gather mana and store it within to use for spells. Use a lot, and one could wind up in the ward. Use too much, and the mage would drop dead.
A lot of mages have been dropping dead from using too much mana in the past few years.
For spells, a mage would usually use a certain type of mystic code, called a 'Device', to channel the mana into the desired spell. From healing to blasting, there was usually a Device for that.
Most Devices these days were used only once before their owners dropped dead.
Ten years ago, on one of their routine patrol missions, a group of agents of the TSAB encountered a large cross floating in space, thousands of meters long. When contact was attempted, it used unseen before magic to heavily damage the patrol ship, causing the patrol to retreat. A report was made, but no one thought much of it until five years later, when the Cross reached a world that the Bureau controlled.
There were no survivors.
Ever since then, the TSAB has been in a state of constant war, trying, and failing, to drive back the Cross. Countless weapons researched, worlds lost, and people destroyed. All to no effect. The worlds it leaves are lands filled with graves, and nothing so far has even scratched the Cross, let alone destroy it.
Desperate for more people, the TSAB expanded its recruitment to anyone who could do something that might make a difference in some way against the Cross, whether leading people, researching possible weapons, using said weapons, or trying to research some Lost Logia that might be able to turn the tide.
Last year, Yuuno was dispatched to recover the 'Jewel Seeds', a set of twenty-one blue gems that, according to what Yuuno was told, had a self-defense program that kicks in when the Jewels are in danger that his superior, Officer Akerman, hoped to trick into actually causing some damage against the Cross.
At this point, Illya expressed her belief that Yuuno was lied to, considering she had tracked the activator of the latest Jewel Seed to Kyouya Takamachi, who promptly clammed up. Eventually, with many threats with wires, all he said was that if he did activate it, he did it unintentionally.
Regardless, Yuuno had to locate the twenty-one Jewel Seeds, retrieve them, and then get transport off the planet to get his delivery to his superior. He was skilled with shield spells and healing spells (his work involved a few nasty traps), as well as a variant of a bounded field that prevented whatever was inside from drawing the attention of the outside… usually. He also possessed an 'Intelligent Device', a Device that had a degree of self-intelligence, for self-defense, even if he couldn't use it himself.
'Raising Heart', said Intelligent Device, had originally been developed to fight the Cross, but after a full power blast caused no effect on the target and knocked out the original user, it had been tossed out. Yuuno suspects that Akerman 'officially' gave him a device he couldn't use to shore up the boy's offences. Unofficially, he suspects that Akerman held something against him.
After losing the Jewel Seeds and making his way to Japan, he located one in the possession of a 'Magical Girl Kaleido Ruby' in a town named Fuyuki, before a man calling himself 'the Bloody Page' found Yuuno in ferret form and tossed him out of the territory he was going to claim. Yunno made his way south to discover the greatest concentration of Jewel Seeds in Uminari.
He located a Jewel Seed in the woods, where its self-defense program had activated, wounding Yuuno and escaping.
It was at that point that Shirou, Nanoha, Suzuka, and Arisa entered the picture, and Suzuka took over telling the story. Shirou was escorting the three girls to cram school, when, while on a shortcut to there, all four of them heard a voice, and they hurried over to discover Yuuno in his ferret form. They took him to a veterinarian, from where he mentally sent out a distress call that night due to a Jewel Seed attack.
The call brought out not only those four, but also Illya and Taiga, as well as the two Matou siblings. Taiga promptly blasted the Jewel Seed monster with Kaleidostick Ruby, something that appeared to be a local Intelligent Device, destroying the creature that had been formed from the self-defense program. Before anyone else could figure out how to seal it to prevent it from reactivating for a time, though, a man that Sakura and Shinji identified as 'grandfather' did so with the local magic, claiming the Seed for his own, saying that little children need to know how to deal with such toys before playing with them.
Yuuno tried to convince the man to surrender the Jewel Seed, but all he did was make the man interested in studying the magecraft of the Jewel, leading Sakura and Shinji away because it was past their bedtime.
Also, the man gave a presence that really spooked Yuuno.
Afterwards, Yunno explained the situation to the remaining kids, and because she was the only person without some means to defend herself, Yuuno gave Raising Heart to Nanoha. While she hasn't been able to use it at full power yet, she has gotten enough down so that she can now seal Jewel Seeds.
And after the interaction with the Matou grandfather, Yuuno was hesitant to trust the adult mages of the area.
The children also spoke with each other and Yuuno, informing him of what they knew of the Moonlit World, surprising Nanoha and making Yuuno wonder why no one of the TSAB had contacted this particular world yet.
The plan that the children had come up with boiled down to get Nanoha trained with Raising Heart and split into two groups, with Taiga in the lone group. Taiga was able to fight and seal the Jewel Seeds with Kaleidostick Ruby on her own, with enough firepower in the Kaleidostick to potentially deal with any problems that might show up. Everyone else would stick with the other group for the moment, relying on teamwork to do the job because they were currently unable to accomplish their goals separately. Both groups would try to locate and seal the Seeds, drawing as little attention as possible, and try to beat Grandfather Matou to the rest of the Seeds.
Taiga had managed to seal a Seed last week at the local temple, even if her efforts left a small crater there, and Nanoha managed to seal the Seed at the pool that day with effort, and no one really knew a thing. The only failure was the idea that Arisa had come up with to try to seal the Seed, which had failed to have an effect.
It was at that point Yuuno received a telepathic message from Taiga, who had apparently just recovered from having been mugged with Kaleidostick Ruby by a flying woman with a sword, a flying girl with a hammer, and a ground-bound girl with ribbons under her control. They had left Taiga alive, but had stolen most of her prana supply and the Jewel Seed. The Intelligent Device assured everyone that Taiga would recover, but she was going to be out of action for a week or so.
One seed. Out of twenty-one.
The children had a plan, but if others are going to be searching for Jewel Seeds as well, it might not be enough.
