So there is literally a god of common sense, but for thousands of years, she was comatose and/or trapped on the Daystar.

The history of Creation makes so much more sense now.

He may be leading us to Asna Firstborn, the first Pattern Spider which he made himself. Probably to upgrade her into a Design Weaver.

She's not the God of Common Sense in general. She's the God of Autochthon's Common Sense.

Basically, Bannery Bu is a god who was either assigned (or assigned herself) into being the angel on Autochthon's shoulder that would tell him "No." when he wanted to, say, make an Elemental Pole of Enraged Scorpions. He would even listen every now and then.

"I'm Bannery Bu, God of Telling Autochthon that No, That is a Stupid Fucking Idea and You Should Feel Bad For Having It."
Hire her! Hire her right now!!

[X]Follow Ruvelia.

Bannery Bu can keep Auto-kun from doing anything silly for now, and we trust Sky to tell us anything important from his adopted sister the Sidereal, so let's see what Ruvelia is about in here. She's literally not from this universe, so what is she playing at?

I mean, I'm not up for always following the Unconquered Sun's instructions, but getting lost in the Loom of Fate because we felt like screwing with alternate timelines can be reserved for our leisure time after we've conquered the Blessed Isle and installed ourself as Empress of Creation. You know, after our more practical ideas have been implemented.

At least according to her writeup in CoCD Yu Shan, Ansa has a much fonder remembrance of Autochthon than his other creations.

Also, she's a 9 foot long spider.

"I hate you with the force of 200 suns" is technically much greater fondness than "I hate you with the force of 1000 suns". (Not that the # of suns is strictly applicable in Exalted, but you know what I mean.)

We should totally change his order to "Run everything by Bannery Bu" now that that's an option

Given we are not a Sidereal, straying from our path at all is a very bad idea. Any others we see could very well be from the past/future, alternate timelines, or parallel universes. Staying with Autochthon is the surest bet, because he has direct backdoor access via his core (which serves as his world-body's Fate management system).

Also, The Traveller is looking at us right now via that backdoor.

Is the old goddess a divine minister?
Nope. She is however likely one of the first gods, old enough to have before Sol by quite some time given how her and Auto know each other.
So, Auto's eye is capable of warping reality, not because it was built to do so, but because it's part of a primordial?
Yep. And from one of his more powerful Jotun, if Auto's comment is considered. And since primordials run on thier own laws of physics that override "normal" causality everytime someone did something with the Eye that it didn't like, Autochthon's charms responded automatically as he slept to counterattack with an E10 "fuck this one area".

However with Auto awake it's response will likely change to "fuck this one person in particular". I, for one, entertain the notion that it is currently flying about the Blessed Isle screaming at people.

Bannery Bu was working on a doohickey Autobot was building in an attempt to cure his sickness, when Theion showed up, ripped the guts out of it, and kludged them together with some other stuff and part of his own Essence to make the Unconquered Sun and the Daystar. Bannery Bu got caught up in the whole mess, and didn't finish reforming herself till after Autobot had buggered off into Elsewhere. Now she's technically part of the Daystar; its' Essence is mingled in with hers, so she can't leave it for too long.

As tempting as it is to run off and do random things it would incredibly awkward if she got lost and had to have someone come save her.

My thoughts exactly.
