Distance Learning for fun and profit...

Again, earth is full of both dextro- and levo- life, nothing here gives a shit about eating either. Do not take biology lessons from Bethesda, they failed that class badly.
yeah, it's a more nuanced issue than Mass effect portrays it
we eat Dextro-sugars, and levo-proteins, but get nothing from Levo-sugars(except that sweet taste)
some smells change depending on if the molecule is left or right handed(the difference between the smells of orange and lemon, or caraway and spearmint for example)
and the handedness of medicines can greatly effect what it does to the body

this Omake like the stargate one needs more chapters to it XD so please don't leave up hanging with this omake's ending, also can't wait for Earth Bet to 'meet' the System's Alliance XD
Edit: fixed the alliance name X_X been to long since i played ME if i made such a basic mistake X_X
Hmmm... I wonder... was that "teleporter" the same tech she refined from the Stargate in that omake?
I was going to say to @Hikari that nothing was stopping this from being a continuation of the Stargate Omake, and would say to @edale that the teleporter is likely created from research done on Leet's tech.

It would be easy for Taylor to leave behind a hologram device to communicate with any Salarians that were attracted to the gravetic waves being put out by Tali's distress beacon. Wouldn't that get them to perk up and take notice of what is happening.

And given this is Taylor, it's unlikely she will appreciate her friend getting "lost" in the bowels of the Salarian Secret Science departments. With Taylor, it would seem like a better idea to anger the Hulk than her. He would only flatten the area around him, not put you on a list of beings to get even with.

Lovely omake @mp3.1415player. Give my best to that Irish guy, and thank him for me will you? Will hope you run into him again soon. Posts of your stories are likely to pop up since you do this for joy. But I'd love to see this continue, even if it's not a continuation of the Stargate one.

It's only been a few hours! That spawned four new pages already?!

I'd love to see more along the lines of that story happen. For that matter, I don't see why it can't be canon to this one... :D
(Honestly, it might be even funnier if after a while she doesn't just reverse-engineer the Entities and create super-tech, but starts blithely wandering around other realities bringing home cool stuff. Kinda like the mirror of that SysTerminator thing you were doing...)

I know about that one, I was just confused about how that linked up with the Citidel from mass effect.
Very confused here. Last I knew, Taylor was just a scary good shot and Kenny was still trapped. Did I miss an omake over there or something?

'The Honour of the Regiment' has a few omakes about Doctor Curlyhair (Taylor's 'hero(well villain rather) name' from when she was playing with Emma as a child) in the Mass Effect universe.

Possibly. This Omake is farther along than the main story, so the Stargate Omake could've happened.

Tali is almost certainly NOT from the Incompatible System universe, as there the Geth would've been making lives extremely difficult for Batarians by that point. The simplest change in that universe would be that Humanity never found the Prothean ruins on Mars.

Of course, from her perspective, Tali's gone back in time nearly two centuries. Not counting the dimension hopping she might be unaware of.

The Mass Effect Omake from FtHotR takes place in the ME canon timeframe (late 22nd century), so Taylor's been Kenny's Commander for quite a while and Humanity's advanced WAY past the point that even the Reapers are a threat. There's not any story stuff regarding all that time.

if this was how distance learning eventually continues I have no problem with that.

Now I want more... The reactions, Meeting the Government. Introducing/studying the tech Tali shared. Helping Tali Home... Could see the Fleet just up and abandoning Citadel Space without telling anyone and coming to live in Taylors universe.

That… was Great! Casually send blueprints for a dimensional Stargate. Gain access to a friend from an alternative tech base. Can you imagine the shenanigans of TaylorTech in MEverse? Taylor reverse engineering eezo tech properly (though the reference frame is far better, safer, and cheaper).
Taylor would wreck the Reapers.
Imagine the Migrant Fleet, armed with last interlude's Graviton-Thermal Fixed-height Ordnance. As for the Geth...
Taylor: Hey, Admin, want to make some new friends?
Admin: [Intrigue] [Excitement]
Also, fuck the Batarians.
This is a common sentiment. It is not beyond the threshold of possibility that some Batarians share it.

Best girl Tali meets Best hero Taylor? Awesome! :D

Now we just need to furnish Tali with enough DATA!!! so she can bring the quarians over to Earth Bet and get best ME race as best buddies!

Are you ever going to realize that's just admitting you are gulable and easily trolled? You are not impressing sempai.. no one cares.
If it were just the WOG, you would have a point. When the WOG is (for once) just keeping in line with basic logic and canon, and the thing it's contradicting is something that someone somewhere pulled from their ass with no basis whatsoever... you don't. Or rather, your point is irrelevant.

I do totally agree though that the majority of his WOG are "optional canon" at best, worthless in the middle, and self-contradictory bullshit at worse. Not arguing that.
Do you know what fic that is by any chance?
I don't remember which one came first, but Incompatible System (by the same author as this) is one. I think maybe the ME section of one of Drich's multiversal SI, Commander, might have been another? Not sure about that, it's been a while. Man Off the Moon might have implied something about it as well, but again it's been a while and I don't think it was confirmed if so. Pretty sure I've encountered at least three or four, at any rate.

11k word O'Makey?!?

Looking forward to reading this and i'll add relevant comments after. I was looking for a nice diversion this afternoon. Thanks @mp3.1415player

now ya got me wanting more… more Kenny. More Learning. More Varga. (ya making me greedy, yo!)

Thanks for the Wordz!

Actually I feel like Taylor would think the Citadel races hsd a few screws loose and a lack of intelligent beings among their races. They relied on an inherited gimmick technology rhat throws out the physics book and made it a slow teeth pulling process to release new technologies to prevent upsetting the status quo among races. With reliance on Mass Effect they didnt bother expanding their understanding of gravity since they could just negate it. And therefor shut down ALOT of avenues of technology. They basically pulled a stargate Goúld with a dead races technology, and the console swapped Godhood for benevolent looking political power instead.
