OK, I added an croped version of the pic to the character sheet. If anone disagrees with the choice, they have until we're done with the character creation to object and suggest an alternative.

If there are no new votes until tomorrow, I'll post the next update. That OK?

Since it's unlikely that more people are going vote right now and the results are pretty clear, I'm calling the vote. The next update will be up within a couple of hours.

Prologue: The start of the Doron Campaign
[]Mercenary

You've always been a bit of a wild and stubborn child, so It wasn't that much of a surprise that you chose to go the unconventional rout and become a warrior. Still, while it may be an unconvntional choice for a female it still happens often enough that you successfull signed up as a Scout for the Cinnabar Banners. Your kind's natural ability to fly probably helped.
(Initial stats and traits revealed)
Unfortunatly after a year of providing armed escorts to merchant caravans and travelling nobles, things drastically changed. What until just a season ago was just rumors of distant battles and a constant stream of cartloads of supplies to support the Traditionalist cause became border skirmishes and raids on undefended villages and supply caravans. By the time Duke Gustav the Boar called his troops to arms and hired every mercenary company in Doron it was clear: The War had finally made it's way to Doron.

What did you do this year? (pick up to 2, Some are mutually exclusive)
[]The first Battle of Dragebruk (Defence)
Your company participated in the first real Battle of the Campaign after a massive Imperialist supprise attack on the border garrison near Dragebruk. You and your comarades helped to defend the town after the garrison toops were overrun and forced to retreat.
[]The first Battle of Dragebruk (Offence)
Your company participated in the first real Battle of the Campaign after a massive Imperialist supprise attack on the border garrison near Dragebruk. You and your comarades met up with the retreating the garrison troops and joined their counterattack on the enemy's exposed flank while the majority of the Imperialist forces were preoccupied with plundering the city.
[]Supply Raids
The Cinnabar Banners were deployed to disrupt the enemy's supply routs by performing raids on their supply caravans.
[]Supply Escorts
The Cinnabar Banners were deployed to defend supply caravans for the Duke's army
[]Patrol Duty
Your comarades and you were sent out to patol the countryside for enemy activity. Your ability to fly certainly came in handy.

OK, this is the start of the prologue where you get to choose what Coreau was doing during the final years of The Great Generation War and how it shaped her character. It is currently the 1st year 3rd Generation 5th Comming and 6 years left until the end of the war and the beginning of the main plot.
Feel free to post some omakes with possible shenanigans that might have happened in Doron over the course of those 6 years. The best ones will be included as options for the appropriate turns.

Lore: The Great Generation War
The Great Generation War is a massive civil war that plagued the Empire from 3rd season 5th year 2nd generation 5th comming to 1st season 7th year 3rd generation 5th comming.
It broke out shortly after Emperor Roland II disappeared without a trace after being attacked by unknown assailants while on his way to a session of the Imperial Council. His son Count Mikul Dorn of Gruenburgh publicly accused Queen Sylva Bontost of the Western Marshlands, the main opponent of the emperor's proposed reforms for increased centralization, of being the mastermind behind his father's abduction and assembled an army of mercenarys to march on Bontohall and "free the Emperor".
After Count Albert of Gelbburgh refused Mikul's army passage through his lands the later responded by assaulting the former's seat and occupying his lands. With the Imperial Council in disarray after the disappearance of the Emperor and Count Mikul's actions several other opportunistic Lords decided to use the situation for setteling their petty squables or fulfilling their abitions with violence, while the city-states on the Etios peninsula declared their independance from the Empire and formed The League of Free Cities.
Not long after the initial chaos, a combination of political stances and tangled webs of pre-existing alliances lead to the establishment of two factions: The Imperialists around Count Mikul Dorn supporting Emperor Roland's vision of a strengthened and more centralized Empire and the Traditionalsts viewing the proposed reforms as a threat to the privileges of the Lords making up the Empire and an unlawfull grab for power by the late Emperor.
Over the course of the first decade of the war, both sides managed to secure foreign assistance, with the Kingdom of Alba in particular getting heavilly involved in the war with the intention of deliberatly prolonging it and therfore weakening the Empire.
Despite long periods of fighting, the foreign support kept both factions in somewhat of a stalemate, until the Imperialists decided to cut off the main source of Traditionalist supplies by invading Doron. This decision turned out disastrous for the Imperialists, as the northernmost duchy stayed relatively untouched by the war until that point, allowing Duke Gustav to quickly mobilize enough ressources to push the invaders back and tip the balance of power in favor of the Traditionalists. With the influx of new troops from the north to their enemy's side, the Imperialists surrendered after a particularly devastating battle near the imperial capital Sigurdsruh, ending the war after 50 years of bloodshed and destruction.

Hope I managed to put together a good story for how the war started and ended.

In case someone missed the memo: The vote on the current turn is open.

Small heads-up: the next update will be a delayed, as I'm likely to be too hungover to come up with something decent at the usual time. Sorry about that.

Prologue: Year 1 results
[]Supply Raids
[]Patrol Duty

Shortly after the news about the Imperialists taking Dragebruk began to spread, your commander was approached by a representative of the Duke. Some negotiations later, the Cinnabar Banners were officially part of the ducal war efford. Your first assignment: Get out there and prevent the enemy from causing even more damage to the countryside while making yourselves as much of a nuicance as possible.

(good success; trait gained: perceptive)
Your ability to fly and get a bird's eye viev of the surrounding area certainly came in handy with spotting Imperialist raiding parties and supply caravans early, so your comrades were well prepeared to engage when the time came.

(crit; trait gained: tactician; stats gained: 2 martial, 1 intrigue; 2 prestige gained; Etios musket gained; Imperialist war efford damaged)
You and your company quickly developed a reputation for your clever use of ambushes and traps against supply caravans. You still remember that one particulary audacious raid where you managed to lure the opposing soldiers into an abandoned mineshaft, trap them inside and make off with all ot their supplies, including several cartloads of valuabe Etios muskets.

(minor failiure; no effects on you, local settlements pillaged)
The patrols to stop the enemy from causing trouble weren't quite as spectacular. While you managed to prevent some of the smaller bands from harrassing the locals, the Imperialists quickly learned to send them out in higher numbers, making it difficult to deal with them.

(good success; significant progress towards upgrading profession trait)

(failiure; no progress on developing childhood trait)

(failiure; no progress on developing childhood trait)
On a more personal note, you feel that the event of the year have provided you with valuable experience, even if you have to admit that you still haven't quite grown out some of your more childish personality aspects.

We can fly.
We have a gun.
Birds usually have good long range eyesight.
Am I the only one who wants to be a flying sniper?

Remember that were talking about smoothbore flintlocks here. Those things aren't exactly accurate.

Prologue: Year 2
After taking Dragebruk, the Imperialist forces dug in and waited. With Doron's army still mobilizing, the winter was mostly eventless. But on the firstday of spring, the war continued. The Imperialists marched further north towards Shundar, while Duke Gustav lead the bulk of his army to meet them in the field of batlle.

What were the Cinnabar Banners up to? (pick up to 3 + the choice for Bloodshirt's Crossing)
[]The Battle of Bloodshirt's Crossing
[]The Battle of Bloodshirt's Crossing (traitors)
The ducal army took defensive positions near Bloodshirt's Crossing and waited for the arrival of the enemy. A few before the Battle, one of the mercenary learders found himself on the recieving end of the Boar's temper and didn't survive. Resentment quicly spread amongst some companies and there were some wispers of defection. Should they go through with that, it would be a nice opportunity to defect as well. (one of the options must be taken)
[]The siege of Shundar
After the betrayal at Bloodshirt's Crossing, the Duke and his remaining men fled back to Shundar, with the Imperialists hot on ther heels. The siege of the city begann. (can't be taken with VIP escort)
[]VIP escort
[]VIP "escort"
The Alchemist's Guild of Kvestarah requested your services to ensure safe passage for one of their best golemcrafters to the assembling relief army at Torntal. Of course shortly after accepting the contract, a shady individual offert you a substantial fee for the golemcrafter not making it to his destination. (can't be taken with the siege of Shundar)
[]Supply Raids
You were once again hired to do what you so far did best: Taking the enemy's stuff away from them.
[]Supply Escorts
This time you found yourselves on the other side in the supply convoy buisness.
[]Patrol Duty
You continued your lookout for enemy raids and brigands
[]Brigands
Your leader decided to sabotage the enemy's war efford while as well as enrich yourselves by pillaging villages in contested areas.
[]Turncloaks
The Imperialists made you an offer. You accepted.

Part 2 of the prologe: now with "evil" options!
