Thar's what I imagined when I though of possible bird Beastbloods. Can't think of anything else other than maybe this:

But that't a bit too cartoonish and unrealistic. Harpies as the base for the appearance make more sence to me.

I get it, however that won't work with using the latin word. Try swedish or danish for a more feminie sounding inspiration.

@Cornix Argentus The pic you provided would be more along the lines of a Human appearance rating of 1, maybe 2 if you squint and Wind Walker Rito would be a 6 or 7.
