[X] Lakshmi needs you. She's your sister. You came into this world with her and if you have to leave it, it'll be with her too.

The invisitext voice is cool and all but family reconciliations take precedence.

[x] You refuse to be bullied by these snarling, slavering beasts. Rabid dogs are not to be feared. They are to be put down. This fear is useless, childish. Crush it.

Family angst is best angst :/

Yeah sure, why not? We've been given the option, and I'm a sucker for reconciling in life or death situations.

Also, holy shit, that went from 0 to 5 real quick.

Come on people, this is an excellent chance to Awaken with an awesome non-technocratic paradigm. Why choose family over being an Exalted archer demigod?

Does it actually matter whether his processor uses an organic base or not? I was under the impression that any HITmark would eventually become a person with emotions and all that stuff if given enough time.

Iirc ones that use brainmeats (the older ones, back when the Union could afford to slap Primium on everything and if dad's a Syndic he probably picked up one of those) are more inclined to become more human-like. Newer ones that are purely mechanical can still grow and develop over time but they're less likely to give thumbs up as they fall into the vat of molten metal.

Though that might just be oWoD fanon, it all sorta sloshes together at some point. :V

Because some of us want a Technocratic paradigm?

(Though I was really tempted, I must admit.)

Considering that dear old Dad is a Technocrat, I don't see it doing wonders for dinner-time conversation. Sure, Technocrats are still human, but there's a limit to how much the Technocracy is willing to look the other way for its members in good standing.

I feel that this is the most believable option, Meg doesn't want to touch the horror confusion of his sole confidant Robb being a terminator/Raiden cosplayer just yet, believing in dad coming to save him doesn't really mesh with his circumstances and the general air of panic. The invi text is a little too ominous (for some reason I am reading it in Gilgamesh's mongrel voice) and I am a touch concerned about any option that has our character try and take on Psychotic Radioactive Werewolves when they have zero actual combat experience.

Choosing to try and comfort Lakshmi is realistic, the kids fought and argued but there's a hell of a difference between arguing over school/social circumstances and "monsters are about to kill us, our father has a robot killing machine guarding us Oh God were going to die."

And oh boy Pentex as written by ZerbanDaGreat. This promises to be horrifying and awesome.

At this point, I'm hoping that we trigger latent murder instincts at some other point in time, because quite frankly if Technocracy involves talking to people, It's something I'd rather avoid.

LESS DIPLOMANCY, MORE AWESOME :V

Also, we probably wouldn't be feeling the need to choose this so much if we'd

Y'know

Not screwed up our relationship for three years.

Still kinda salty that happened btw.

[X] Rob was your friend. Is your friend. He listened to you. You felt at ease around him. He helped you when you had nobody else left to turn to. That wasn't just a robot. That wasn't programmed.

Huh I wonder what the Technocracy did to pass off the Black Spiral Dancers so much :???:

They aren't really cool with the whole 'entropy and destruction of the working universe' thing. They also exist, which is a pretty big no no as far as the Spiral Dancers are concerned.

Could be working hand in hand with Hunters and or GaiaWolves. Going to guess that this version of the world is pretty interconnected so that Technocracy is willing to non-aggression pact with people who aren't going to destroy the world.

IT DOES NOT LIVE.

BRING IT PEACE.

BEHOLD THE TRUTH.

TAKE BACK THE NIGHT.

INHERIT THE EARTH.

C'mon, Clan Ventrue!

Otoh the invisitext only increase my feeling that we are Indrajit, or at least someone touched by him considering that the text would apply to the parents of both of them..After all considering our name means "Thunderous" or" lord of sky""

And if we are a wuffle we would clearly be a shadowlord. Especially with how the Invisible text also works for them. :p

Sorry, in the game of Mage you either get friends or you die :(

Sometimes you die even when you have friends.

Nothing wrong with being a legendary reincarnation and a Technocrat at the same time. Especially one who is Gud At Fite.

A strong love of family is a good thing.

Hey if we ignore our Father being a Technocrat he is ideal Kinfolk , or breeding material for a shadowlord.

And well clearly we need to get synchroistic. in terms of our Paradigma.
And it would explain , beyond the already proprosed exemplar/legend explanation, why we are so good at hitting people while angry. And why the BSD want to kill us.
But then this is arguing for arguings sake.

So I'm here reading Zerban's angsty Australian autobiography character introduction, when out of the fucking blue:
Rob reaches out and snaps the first cop's neck.
I'll be honest: My immediate thought was that he was some sort of Saxton Hale nutter.

Anyway.

[X] Lakshmi needs you. She's your sister. You came into this world with her and if you have to leave it, it'll be with her too.

Because there's holding a grudge, and then there's being an asshole.

Still don't know what's going on. Don't care. Awesomeness.

This will result in an interesting dynamic, given our previous interactions with her.

Also mirrors the our first onscreen interaction with her kinda. We don't always get along, but comforting our sister is what a brother does.
