7 Holy Pyramids (Riot God Quest)

Alright. I see that you just like to create big, intricately detailed things. But look...the island with mushrooms is one thing; the specific, seemingly intelligent? Mother Mushroom is a whole seperate entitity; the creatures being native to the area is another thing. These things add up to make big costs, even if I dont know how big this island is, which I will need to know, because depending on these factors, you might be looking at a whole ecosystem, and that will be expensive.
Mother Mycelium is not an intelligent creature, but simply a giant mushroom that regularly releases clouds of spores, but I understand your point. As for the size, how should I indicate it? Like tiny/small/medium/large or indicate the area in square kilometers? Mother Mycelium will go under the knife, but how much more needs to be cut out and what size island should be specified to fit within the framework of the Big Act?

Mushroom Island is a mysterious place, hidden in the mists surrounding it, located to the west of the main island. Huge bioluminescent mushrooms thrive on this dark and secluded island, emitting a mesmerizing soft glow that pierces the darkness beneath the thick canopy.

The island's mushrooms come in a striking variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Some for example have incredibly wide caps that act like natural umbrellas, providing shelter for species living in the grove. Others resemble thin tendrils that spiral towards the sky.

The creatures that live on the island have adapted to their unique habitat, many of which exhibit bioluminescent properties.

Mushrooms in the grove have many interesting properties. The rich mixture of spores from these mushrooms can induce healing, reveal hidden truths, or even boost mental powers. However, collecting them can prove insidious, as their effects, if not handled wisely, can lead to unpredictable outcomes.

In addition to mushrooms, there is also enough endemic fauna on the island, which, in the event of a threat to island, immediately attacks violators.

Lumeslugi iridescent gastropods gliding gracefully across the damp forest floor, feeding on decaying plant matter and leaving a luminous trail behind them. Their bright, glowing slime serves both as a defense mechanism to alert predators to their toxicity, and as a method of communication between individuals.

Fluffs are small nocturnal creatures resembling rabbits with glowing fur. Fluffs have learned to use their bioluminescence to camouflage themselves from the light of the mushrooms. They are primarily herbivores, feeding on leaves, flowers, and soft fungi, and can jump considerable distances to avoid danger.

Fungalox are large, imposing quadrupeds that resemble a cross between a rhinoceros and a bull. Their thick hides have a characteristic layer of bioluminescent fungal growths that serve as a symbiotic defense mechanism. When threatened, the fungus releases a cloud of spores that confuse predators. They graze on the tall, dense fungal growths that make up most of the island's vegetation.

Mikovulf is a carnivorous predator resembling a wolf. They use their bright colors to lure unsuspecting prey towards them before launching a quick attack. Their mouths are littered with rows of poisonous sharp teeth. Mycowulf venom is a powerful neurotoxin that causes paralysis in the victim.

Glimmerwings are bioluminescent butterfly-like insects that spend their days hiding in mushrooms and only come out at night to dance in the grove. The shimmering patterns on their wings create an enchanting spectacle as they flutter across the luminous landscape, pollinating mushrooms as they go.

Alright, I tried to get back to you as soon as I was capable to actually thinking today, though I see its late in the vote

After reading and re-reading, Id be willing to say that since you said this Mother Mushroom is the key to the life of the island, and isnt intelligeant, I'll assume the island is based off of a single mycellium. So then he mother mushroom would be fine to be part of the island.

While I established a size for 'large' island (being the big Hawaii island), Id prefer comparisons to buildings (which can get big themselves) or city, since that is how the grading scale was set up.

What youve done is make something I dont know how to grade.

What I feel like I might have to do is look at it like this: island + animal +animal +animal +animal

The island by itself? To fit the Big act framework, can be as large as a whole city, for size id probably use chicago or new york unless its stated otherwise

And if it helps any...mushrooms dont have to be pollinated

I wonder if I can ask mango for help

@MangoFlan

Island size + 1 + 1+1+1?

Thanks, I'm aware. So, getting back to the act, if I specify the island as "small" and you decide how small it will be and leave the fauna of the island, will it be enough to fit into the Big Act? If not, do I need to remove it all or can I limit myself to one or more types? Like remove the butterfly and the wolf?

On one hand, it seems like a simple enough act. All the items in the act are mundane enough to be put together. However, I think it has too many add-ons. 5 animals in addition to a mushroom forest is too many. 3 mundane unintelligent animals in addition to forested island should be reasonable for big act.

Well, I cut out 2, I hope this will be enough.

[X] Magnolia the Nature Titan.
Magnolia the Nature Titan is born into the world as another immortal. Magnolia takes the form of a majestic deer, though her body is made out of plants instead of flesh and blood. Her fur is made of grass and flowers, her antlers are tree branches and her face looks like that of a young woman. Magnolia possesses a aura that makes plants grow faster when in her presence.

Since you guys were so excited about this, and able to gather the 10 votes, I'll let you just upgrade it to an official Great Act, what would you like to add?

Okay, here's a upgraded version of Magnolia the Nature Titan.

Her fur is made of grass and flowers, her antlers are tree branches and her face looks like that of a young woman. Magnolia possesses a aura that makes plants grow faster when in her presence. Magnolia also possesses the ability to create and manipulate all types of plant life. Magnolia have a very warm and nurturing personality, with her seeing herself as the Mother of Flora and Guardian of Nature.

Hopes its valid for a Great Act.

Maybe I should create some Cursed Item next?

[] Ace of Cups

This is a small, elegant goblet crafted from a combination of marble and dark wood. It is nearly indestructible and has the unique ability to repair itself if broken, using nearby stones and wood. To activate the goblet's power, one must pour a liquid inside. Any liquid that comes into contact with the interior of the cup transforms into a potent poison. Although the physical properties of the liquid remain unchanged, it gains supernatural toxic properties based on the liquid poured inside. For instance, if clean, fresh water is poured into the goblet, it becomes a poison that induces rapid dehydration within a few minutes. After consuming this water, severe thirst develops about an hour later, causing the body tissues to lose water rapidly within a matter of minutes. This effect applies to both animals and plants, making it highly dangerous even if one attempts to drink normal water to counteract the poison's effect.

Edit: Now, imagine using Crackpot to melt many-many poisonous stuff into liquid concepts, mix vigorously and pour into the Cup. What should be in this cup? Supernatural poison - so concepts transform into it inside the Goblet. And liquid concepts already contain various kinds of toxicity, so the resulting substance will be very interesting. But you can go deeper - pour relusting poison into the Crackpot again, add some more toxic stuff and pour these concepts into the Goblet. I think, it would lead to some unpredictable results, if done enough times. Or things would stagnate at some point.

[X] Cloudweaver Koi

A species of floating black and white koi fish that live on the clouds, they can generate a thin mist as a means of defense against predators.
When its rain season they tend to fall back into the sea to leave their eggs and return to the skies when its over. Its offspring must pass the test of going back to the clouds when reaching adulthood. As of yet they mainly feed on the plants of Skyfall islands.

Actually, Im sorry. Somehow I decided for you how big these fish were? I must have let my imagination go a little wild so let me know how big you imagined these please?

Mother Mycelium will go under the knife,

And I want to point this out one last time, after re-reading your description for the mother mushroom, i decided it was intended to be part of the island and since its not a intelligent creature, you can have her back. Do you wish to keep it?

The next prismatic artifact.

[] Union Circlet
A crystal circlet covered in intricate etchings reminiscent of the carvings on the Prism. The Union Circlet has seven subtle slots at its top and three slots on its bottom which the seven spikes of the Prismatic Crown and the claws of the Crystal Scepter can be inserted into.

On its own, the Union Circlet grants its wearer a subtle aura of "Unity" that makes them easier to trust and follow. When the Prismatic Crown is slotted, the Union Circlet's effect and theirs merge into an aura stronger than either alone. When the Crystal Scepter is slotted in, the Union Circlet will act as a mirror and greatly boost the strength of the laser. When both are slotted at the same time, the effect is the same.

If the Prism is also being held by the Crystal Scepter when slotted into the Union Circlet, the Union Circlet will additionally act as a mirror that increases the range of the illusions. If the Prismatic Crown is also slotted, the Prism's illusions will become hard light creations.

[ ] The Great Turtle fleet
At least a dozen massive turtles who's back is often confused with that of a large island even at a young age, but grow even larger as they age.
When they dive underwater, whatever is on their back is protected from the crushing depths and function like they would above water, and creatures that live in the ocean can live above water as long as they remain somewhat near the turtle.
For some reason they are searching for elephants or other great creatures to settle on Their backs - they dont know what they are or why, but they feels they are Important. While They are extremely long lived, they are mortal, but they do lay eggs.

[] A Boarish Grudge

In the lands of the Wolf, a dark spirit is fashioned as an adversary and test of the people there. This spirit starts out as weak, unseen, incorporeal. It initially acts as a silent and invisible observer of the land, watching the peoples. Whenever it observes a crime, a sin, or any other act of malice from one sentient to another, it grows in strength by absorbing the negative emotions around the act. As it absorbs more and more negative emotions, it grows stronger and more physical, until it reaches a threshold and takes the form of a giant monstrous boar that will rampage around, burning up its store of negative emotions until eventually it becomes an incorporeal spirit once more. It's physical form is weak to attacks made with Light, be it beams of light or weapons made of or imbued with Light, and wounds made with them makes it burn through its reserves faster.

Thoughts?

Ive updated the first post and some informative posts as well :)

Since the last time the Powers have looked upon their creations, people have greatly increased in numbers, more intricate relationships, and better technologies. The Aetherians live with a population of Cold Air Pixies, some of which have further mutated into Ice Pixies. They have also proclaimed their independence to Wolf-who-hungers, and call their sky island nation: Aetheria. Much was discussed, including trade agreements, as well as governance and neutral areas. Namely, the first island would be considered neutral territory, since peoples from both sides already reside there. And it would be called The Mountain, or as such time when another mountain might arise, Neutraland.

For now, the Aetherians, as part of their agreement, have included some of the terns into their diet of fish and berries, to lessen their impact on the shared food resource. In return for keeping their word, and as a gesture of good will, Wolf-who-hungers traded an amount of gold ingots (made from melting down the Golden Fish scale, which are now more effectively gathered because the Air Pixies find it easier to remove the scales than the wolf or titans could.) and a number of obsidian pendants, one for each member of the new Aetherian Council.

The population of Nagas has increased, with them mostly farming Prism Kelp, and hunting Chill Penguins for the meat, and the parts for trade. They are now led by the first daughter, who was made by the magic of the crackpot, and whose name is Nagiri. She is a strong, and well respected, leader to the Naga. Meanwhile, Nithenia retires and receives a new, more protected home, where she can better protect the crackpot and its contents from the fox thief, who also lives on the island. Its during her time here that she experiments and handles requests for the crackpots use, and, after combining a greenblock and some prism kelp, and dumping it into her pond, discovered that a substance like plankton grew on the surface of the water, but would sparkle and change color like the prism kelp would. And so she called it...glitter. And this too would have different flavors, and healing properties, but would be faster growing than kelp.

The Air Pixies, armed with shards of Ferris' new invention, steel, would use them as tiny knives, peeling and scraping at bamboo to break them down into sticks and rope. The Air Pixies now are almost entirely living on boats, putting up quick platforms and shelters for the community whenever they gather together on the open sea. They still prefer to make these gatherings around Bell Lotuses, as the flowers make good lighting into the night.

Ferris spends his days helping to protect The Wolf, as he believed was his duty. As does Jerimoth. But while the bone titan has decided to continue his duties through the night as well, Ferris spends his nights crafting and experimenting with whatever he can create. Some of the Hot Air Pixies have taken an interest in his work, and formed a community around his forge. And there, some of them would have new generations that have mutated into Fire Pixies.

Emissary became busy with the development of the new nation of Aetheria, and new trades. They would often travel between the sky islands, and the kingdom below, which became known as Green City. Their duties mostly included being an advisor to both nations, delivering messages, and coordinating important meetings.

And it was them that would notice the touch of The Powers come back to the region.

As they were getting ready to shift into existing in Aetheria, they were stopped by a glow in the water. And then another. And then several more. Curious, they went down to the water, only to discover a bunch of wet, glowing wolves, frantically paddling over to the nearest platform. They were elated to see that Wolf-who-Hungers wish had been granted...and even more so to find that these wolves could speak as well. They would greet the wolves, ask them questions, and lead them towards the center of Green City.

Just before they would enter, Wolf-who-Hungers would be surprised by another gift of the Powers, as the stick which held the prism shifted suddenly, to be clear and made of crystal, causing the prism to glow even more. And so it was a regal and imposing image which met the Bright-weave wolves as they were granted permission to see this strange black wolf, who could also wield light. The king was ecstatic, and welcomed them, ordering shelters being made for them. Further more, he asked them to join under his kingdom, that they would be fed and treated well.

So they did, and another party was had that night. The king and the new wolves shared their abilities with each other, Ferris showed off a new invention, a series of bowls that could collect rainwater. Nithenia shared her glitter. The Aetherians performed some dances. The Aquariads made instruments from bamboo. The various Pixies gathered and made shows of their power. And everyone shared their scraps with the Reef Jellies.

The next morning was a misty one, and a new island seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. It sat west of The Mountain, who in turn sat south of The Pyramid, and Green City. On this new island, a variety of large mushrooms, as well as some creatures. A new, large tree appeared on The Mountain, as well. The Naga, who first noticed the trees, though perhaps it was connected to the the new island as well...but after some exploration, and loss, by a party of Naga, it was decided that the mushrooms on this new island were similar to...but not related to the mushrooms which their new trees grew.

The Nagas set aside some of their land, to bury their fellows, instead of returning them to the cycle of life, for they did not understand what had killed them.

The next day, a surge of new life came to the region. In the water, a variety of new creatures was made.

First, snails whos shell gleamed of many colors, made of any type of yet unknown gems, including emeralds, rubies, sapphires etc. Some populations were harmless, and therefore could be easily harvested by both Naga and Aquariad. Some populations were also aggressive and venomous. Some of the less aggressive snails would eventually be gathered, and commercially raised in beds of kelp.

Secondly, Sailfrogs would be created. These are large frogs, up to a foot in length, which have membranes connecting their front and back legs. And they would live in both land and sea, somehow impervious to the oceans salt content. They largely live on and around Bell Lotus, as well as live entirely herbivorous lives.

With these new creatures, the pixie populations would occasionally catch one in a cage, and make a sport out of staying ontop of one without having to use their powers. sailfrogs would usually be released afterwards, as it would be considered poor sport to kill them after using them for sport. That being said, the pixies also find that they can band together to hunt these frogs with their little spears and magic. Sailfrogs can often serve as a feast for the pixies, just like fish can. And they dont have to be scaled.

Thirdly, turtles populate the waters too. These are similar to being plain turtles, however...these turtles can glide just like the sailfrogs can. They do not have the additional membrane, instead having waterproof feathers on their front flippers. They will use these and a burst of speed to avoid predators.

And the next day, even more life was stirring. a brand new species of fish erupt from the waters, and fly up into the clouds. These black and white koi fish of the sky are out of reach of all but a few predators. But they come inland to Aetheria, and feed on the plants there..so they quickly become hunted by the Aetherians as an extra food source. Luckily, the Aetherians are smart, and do not over hunt these new fish, so they observe the natural life cycle, and preserve populations for the future.

As reports of these new animals, and mushrooms, come back to Wolf-who-hungers, he is glad for the new food sources and believes that along with these, and less predation on the fish of the ocean, stress on the food can lessen. But he is concerned about this new island, and orders that any of his kingdom are forbidden to venture there, without being a part of an official venturing party. And seeing the deaths of the first naga to set tail on it, all under his rule respect it. Therefore, the wonder if all the different mushrooms, and creatures there, would take more time to be discovered.

The next day, more was created. First, a great knife to ferris. He would test it, and name it. Then, after seeing its potential, asked to give the Dividing Knife to Nithenia. Knowing how well the grandmother of Nagas took care of the crackpot, Wolf-who-hungers agrees. So Ferris delivered it to Nithenia, who accepted it. And a year later would gift it to Nagiri, on her birthday. Nagiri, having been warned of the power of the dividing knife, took it a proof of the trust placed in her, and wore it mostly as a token, but would occasionally use it for the good of all.

And then Magnolia was created. Wood came up from the of The Mountain, and twisted and warped intoself into a titanic deer form, and sprouting for itself, a woman's face. Upon her birth, the air filled with life and everything around her visibly grew faster. Nagirir was the first to greet her. And once she was apprised of everything, thanked the naga woman by creating seeds for her, which were said to allow her to lay eggs whenever she wanted. And from these eggs would be born naga with new genetics, both by the power of these seeds, as well as the mutating power of the greenblocks, which had been eaten during the feasts of the wolf. Additionally, magnolia asked for nagiri to send word to the two titans to come meet with her. Nagiri sent a messenger, and three titans were united. Though Magnolia feels that she belongs to the entire world, and not under one specific creature, she is still welcomed as family by the other two, and given a necklace with a trident shaped pendant.

Ferris also creates pillars of basalt up from the ocean, big enough for magnolia to stand on, and in enough numbers to as to completely circle between the two islands, and around the pyramid and Green City. To celebrate, Magnolia made a trip around the whole circle, coloring the ocean with green and glitter as she went. The fish and pixies prosperred from the alage and bell lotus bloom. Predators prospered from the new surge in fish populations. Everyone was happy. Except the reef jellies, who were unknowingly fenced out of the area by the new basalt pillars, and could not get through due to their large size. Luckily for them, some nearby tribes of aquariads migrated their villages around the new border, and designated their debris to be dumped outside of the ring.

Bright lights formed Above it all; sentient balls of fire would form a watch all of this new development, having been formed along with the mysterious island. And it would be some time until they felt comfortable enough to reach out to who they would come to trust to be the most open minded. The one known as Emissary, of course.

But that is a tale for next time.

...45 turns until two gods are born
