[X] - Multi-Species Surgeon

Everbody loves or at least tolerate the healer, don't matter that he is a mage, if he can save people lives he will be much more important a round because they know the basics of keeping the medic alive.

Irl, military science generally means the application of the scientific method towards military functionality. So things like experimental new force compositions or grand scale analysis of fortification techniques. To put it another way, a military scientist tests the effectiveness and costs of combinations of pre-existing technologies, strategies, practices, doctrines, and theories, with new discoveries generally being organizational or logistical.

In contrast, a chemist would be spending their time in a lab, directly testing ways of making better armor, better explosives, and better rifle alloys.

Does 'Greatness In Gunpowder' in gunpowder only apply to gunpowder weapons or can it be used for any gun-like mechanism that uses alternate propulsion systems like the air gun I mentioned before that could fire twenty shots per second? Cause I really want to make a compressed alchemical steam air gun that aesthetically looks like one of those primitive lasgun concepts from Warhammer 40k.

(basically this but it ejected high-pressured red/green alchemical gas when shooting out the bullet steam every time it fires in a aesthetic similar to a lasgun)

Not the QM, but these seem to be the sort of thing that would fall under steam engineering rather than gunpowder.
