Once upon a time, there was the Great Rending. It was at this time where Non-Existence rent itself into four, creating The First World in the process. These four states of reality are Above, Below, Creation, and Potential.
The First world starts as nothing but a marble out in space, surrounded by water. The ground below is smooth, and the waters are still. There is no movement. There is no weather. There is no life.
An endless, barren ocean.
In one part of this ocean stands a large pyramid. It is so expansive that it connects both Above and Below. This pyramid is made with the element of Potential, and therefore, has not yet been created.
But now, You are here.
Now, you may create the first pyramid, from whatever you wish, and furnish it and the surrounding area however you wish.
Welcome to my new God Quest! It is a riot quest, based on the Thousand Isles from MangoFlan and From Genesis by Mannan. However, this one runs on a much smaller scale than those quests. (I think) As some may be aware, since this is a Riot quest, more than one Act may pass voting in each turn.
Links to the inspiration quests are here:
Thousand Isles (Riot God Quest)
From Genesis (Riot God Quest)
The players are given seven turns to customize each starting location. Once the seven turns are up, we move on to another location. When all seven locations are filled, a Special Event Die (1d10) is rolled, and then we start again.
Each player is given five votes. In addition, each may author one act. All acts being voted on must have an original author. There will be two important parts of voting- moratorium, where you discuss how things went, plan together, and suggest ideas. And the actual voting period. Also, usually within the time frame of the moratorium, suggested Acts will be graded. That grade determines how many votes it needs to get so it may pass and take effect in the world. The grades are the following, as defined in Thousand Isles:
BasicAct (1 Vote) :Creation of small items, unintelligent mundane creatures, and minor effects. Can be no bigger than a room.
E.g.a block of gold, a rabbit, a dining room set, a flash of heat, a removal of water.
SmallAct (3 Votes) :Creation of large items, structures, a species of unintelligent creatures, an intelligent creature, an extraordinary creature, an extraordinary item, and large effects. Can be as large as abuilding.
E.g.a golden apartment building, a population of rabbits, a human, an immortal rabbit, an iron bar that's always hot, a drought.
BigAct (6 Votes) :Creation of very big or extraordinary items and structures, a speciesof intelligent creatures, a species of extraordinary creatures, andeffects that last several turns. Can be as large as a city.
E.g.El Dorado, a population of humans, a population of immortal rabbits,a drought that lasts decades.
GreatAct (10Votes) : An
act that could be felt throughout a continent and reverberates across the world. The creation of grand landforms, world-changing artifacts, godlike beasts, civilizations, and far-reaching effects.
Further grades of acts are locked. Acts that require a grade higher than whatis available automatically fail.
