Ok, so this is my opportunity to explain what kind of zombies we're facing.

Headshots are good and the most useful kind of shots but depending on the damage, a zombie might still be able to function. The virus is an alien parasite that is extremely sophisticated, this will all be explained later.

My reasoning is that traditional George Romero zombies wouldn't really last long, they're rotting corpses that within a few days would suffer brain failure because of decay. Even if they persisted, they wouldn't survive the cold temperatures of Winter, they would literally freeze to death. Listen, I did extensive research for this quest (read a single reddit thread) and I realized I needed something more interesting to make our zombies resilient.

They are limited by damage to their bodies and brain of course but they don't feel pain and are psychotically driven to attack and cannibalize the living. The US military at full readiness would fuck up a zombie plague but the trump card for our zombies is that the rate of infection will be too fast and too many people will be turned. The devastation of a zombie apocalypse isn't directly the hordes of zombies but the disruption to society that such a plague causes. Like I said full readiness but people in power are corrupt and incompetent, martial law is bad for getting elected and business so our leaders might hesitate.

I've said too much, I have plans.

EDIT: The zombies are 28 Days Later runners at first but as they take damage they become shamblers. They run on pure instinct and hordes naturally form.

IMAGINE NOT DECLARING MARTIAL LAW DURING A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD HURT YOUR VOTER TURNOUT

But yeah, this variant sounds marginally more interesting than the typical shambler. Being able to run puts them above a good 50% of pop culture zombies.

[X] Biography: Rocco didn't have the best life growing up sure his family was rich but it wasn't like they could spend that money freely...so to make ends meet a little easier Rocco agreed to apprentice under his grandfather then on a sunny day in 2005 under the supervision of his father Rocco broke the kneecaps of a drug smuggler named Johnny and after that day Rocco officially became a mafia man just like his old man and grandfather and now he's a gun gunner, moonshiner and transporter and just like those before him he has a burning hatred of drug smugglers and their product...sure he may no longer be in West Virginia but his old men can surely hold down the fort even in their advanced age while he does his own thing here in Oregon...and just like his old men he knows the Single Action Army revolver, M1911 pistol, pickaxe, Bowie knife and claw hammer like the back of his hand.

And now i'll just include some quotes from Rocco's grandfather.

"Even a .38 pipe gun can kill a man but it take's someone with brain's to make a good one" Gus

"Any old chump can make a pipe gun...but someone with a vision and the know how can make a real pistol out of scrap metal" Gus

"i got men in my crew that have been around for a long time...in fact they have been round for so long that they're still moonshineing...and i must say they still make a pretty good brew" Gus

"i bet you could make a real sniper rifle out of junk if you had the knowledge needed and the tool's to make the rifling" Gus

"Just call me Gus" Gus

"You might be woundering why i speak so much about pipe gun's...well that's because we make em...in fact we make some of the best pipe gun's in the whole damn country" Gus

"So what if i am 28 i've seen kids as young as 17 in this business...bless thier souls" Gus

"You know we have more than just pipe gun's for sale...we have gun's from the two world war's hell i think we even have some armor...though i think it's gonna need more than a simple tune up since we buried em in an old mine shaft" Gus

All of these quotes are from 1951 and are therefore old and in most cases not relevant anymore.

Edit: yes this is the grandson of my character from the mafia riot quest.

I've been feverishly working on the turn but I need to go to bed. Turn 0 will be posted tomorrow evening. I thought I could get it done tonight, sorry guys. I have the world and valley city reports written up, just need to finish up the actual voting scenarios.
