All we need to do is take Monson as our date and we'd be set.
It is not as if any kids between Shareholding nobles are actually conceived 'naturally', they are all custom designed by the parents. Nobles are, in fact, super woke! They do not care at all about 'race', or sexual preference, or identity. But that is to a certain extent because they are fully capable of defining those things at will or having their bodies rebuilt to fit their own preferences. It would not be at all unusual for one parent to be traditional Chinese ethnicity appearance, another to be blonde and blue eyed and vaguely Swedish, then to have a black skinned child who has green hair and purple eyes.
If said child then gets together with a person of the same sex? Or wants to change sex? That has absolutely no impact on producing heirs and in the latter case just means the geneers fucked up giving the kid the right gender preference and need to suffer a horrible fate. The kid can just get their physical gender changed though, it is not a big deal.
The same kind of acceptance is common through the upper classes in general though not necessarily with the serfs who are 90+% of the population.
