XCOM: The Long War [We're back in action]

...I'm starting to wonder if I should of just kept trudging on with Blackwatch...no one had a plushie addiction at my old base.
 
Oh there was plenty of interesting people! I made lots of friends there. When you have to burn bodies and shoot infected schoolchildren together It makes a bond that lasts a life time...still see most of them at my group therapy.

Blackwatch happily kill its own, civilians and stuff without asking questions. We'd rather not.

Blackwatch has some tactical gear. We have power armors.

Blackwatch commits routine crimes against mankind. We commit routine crimes against alienkind.

Blackwatch is hunted by Alex Mercer. We would give a job to Alex Mercer.
 
You guys have not lived until you've seen a Horde of Infected shredded by an AC-130. They're running and screaming at us like something out of 28 Days later and then BRRRRRRRRRTTTTT! Nothing left.

[If anyone mentions Prototype 2 DERPWATCH I will throw a knife at you]

What version of Long War is this? Don't you start off with the G36 style weapons in Long War, with the original EU weapons being turned into Guass weapons instead?
 
I gotta say I much prefer watching X-COM to playing it. My playthroughs have not been very successful.
 
Okay guys, my laptop has been repaired and I am reinstalling XCOM. Cross your fingers and hope that our save file is still on here. If it isn't, I'll have to restart the Long War on a different thread.

The good news: We "researched" cloning tech during the hiatus.
The bad news: They cut our budget again.
The ugly news: There's only two types of clones avaliable. Me: and @Rufus Shinra

After spending what seemed liked months in Research, you finally get to Engineering. You are greeted by Dr. Shen and his men

You have the option to do three things and 590 credits to do them with.

What will it be Commander?

[ ] Build/Buy Items
[ ] Visit The Gray Market
[ ] Build Facilities

Hmmm. How much do SHIVs and satellites cost in LW? (I'm askng in case they are cheaper or more expensive)

I haven't played XCOM for quite some time, so...

perhaps...
