Works for me, it sounds like fun. We will need to improve our teleport skills so we can go and grab everyone, but i'm looking forward to it. With so many of us we can probably take down more than one monster a day.
 
That sounds like a stupid idea. It would make anything we summon not trust us. Also I think we should have gotten more than a single plus to our fire affinity. We just absorb the essence of something that had magma for blood.

Looks like we've got a great Fire reagent now! We'll have to think of another use for that incense we bought if we don't end up using it in the ritual anyways alongside the Searfang horn chunks.
 
How would the summons that we don't intend to kill know that we summon evil creatures to kill?

The only consequence I'm worried about is that we might get to used to summoning evil creatures that when we get into a fight and need to summon a good guy to help us out we might accidentally summon something evil. I don't think it's likely, but i am wary of it.

I'd also be ok with the whole "check difference in mana regeneration" and such - but I'd really like to hug Briar, after all that's happened, which means doing so outside of Hellmouth where it can't affect our size-altering spell.

B.) I really doubt Dad is going to want to spend a whole ton of time in LA ferrying us around for something he has no idea why we would want.

C.) We already have safe storage. Dimensional pockets are a thing.

We can shrink ourselves and hug brair at home. There is no reason to do it in LA.

Also our KI like our magic comes from us. We only take in magic from the environment when we drink a potion to recover mana.

Shrinking ourselves at the hellmouth is asking for trouble, though.
Doing it away from there is far better.

We do take in some small stuff - it's why Briar taught us cleansing rituals.
And seeing the difference between different environments might give us some clue that'd really help us improve our mana/ki regeneration.

Remember we need to do something to protect our reagents from contamination. This is extremely important.
We can either hide them or stow them in a dimensional pocket.
Personally I want to stow them in a dimensional pocket; I don't want to risk them being stolen.

Guys, why do you want to keep our reagents in a safety deposit box that is extremely hard to either get to on our own or hard to explain to our father why we want it? We have a dimensional pocket. Let's use it. I don't even know how you guys are going to explain to Alex's dad why he wants to keep all of his souvenirs in a safety deposit box in LA. He's eight. He can't exactly do all these things on his own.

I've changed the meditation vote to include finishing off our comparison of magic since last time we were interrupted by needing to save Briar:

Planned "Light" reagent is calculation of True Noon (which should be fairly Time consuming) at the desired ritual site, and ending the ritual precisely then. Which means that no, this is not the time or place to do the ritual.
