I fear we can't prevent it coming out, so let's not even try to hide it. I don't want to force Briar to chosse between her familiar master or what the term is and her mom.

The trick is really just to make sure it comes out on our terms and timing. Letting everyone realise that we're not an incarnation of ultimate evil first is rather high on that list of priorities.

The "hey listen" would just get her attention- and we do not want her attention, as then she finds out we're Gannondorf while she's still angry at her kid and then she thinks we corrupted her or something. This one is a bit disrespectful, but it gives a lot of information and backs up our fairy.

Though I do want to just be like "nope. I'm not getting involved here." It would be hilarious.

Think we can combine there - which says basically everything I want to say, at least.
It's nice and polite as a starting point, while letting Navi know we don't want to randomly start killing people.
Which is a very important start of the whole "convince the Great Fairy who is massively more powerful than us that we're not a bad guy" (seriously, damn, look how easy a time Navi had of just ignoring what we could do)

The problem with letting her get to know us before revealing who we used to be is that Ganondorf was also an adept deceiver, they wouldn't be unreasonable to believe we'd enchanted Briar or otherwise fooled her if they think we're Ganondorf.

Hell, it's going to be awkward anyway given that we're obviously Gerudo to anyone with knowledge of Hyrule and we're male at that, pretty much automatically making us the rightful King Of The Gerudo Thieves, which may be strange depending on their fate.

I don't think we currently look like a Gerudo - we're too light skinned and our eyes are the wrong colour. We look like a crossbreed - and we don't know if interbreeding preserves the Gerudo sex ratio.

Don't the Gerudo have to interbreed by definition since they don't have the men required? So shouldn't the effects of interbreeding be very well known?
