I think we can bend over quite a bit if we count the whole "trying to leave a good impression on our dearest friend mother".

To be honest, the 'Hey! Listen!' part is mostly a joke, but we might need to speak up a bit to get her attention.

I'm pretty sure that the winter court doesn't know it was us exactly. Other than that no issues.

They might not know who we are, but I'd be willing to bet they're still unhappy with us. Thus explaining the wards we put up.

That's not the only issue. The gate was sealed as well. Through now that I think about it Briar and her family doesn't really line up with the traditional fae.

Its going to come out. Considering that we have traces of he triforce of power's power use and that Navi has been around Ganondorf its going to come out.
 
The sealing wasn't the reason we ran away and put on what amounted to a privacy curtain to Navi. It was those guys popping out to investigate.

Its why briar hasn't been in contact for a decade. You know I bet we could get old Hylian out of this. Through it would bring up our PLE.
 
[X] Hey! Listen! The Gate that Briar used got locked down by some nice witches cause of some winter court child theives invading and then said child theives trapped it. After getting the witches permission to send a message and sending it we had to get out of dodge cause of the Winter court whom the witch promptly flambeed.
 
We look vaguely Gerudo-ish, but not explicitly Ganondorf-ish. Anyway, the 'Hey Listen!' thing is kinda amusing, but we'd only know about it in a meta-sense, so it comes off as just plain weird. Also, keep in mind that our comment here is going to determine Navi's first impression of us, which is pretty important.

So why are we planning to hide our Ganon'ness from someone who could probably help with suppressing our past life?

Dropped the "our first priority" bit because, uh, let's not lie to Navi about actually possessing a sense of self-preservation in our first meeting. Protecting Briar, maybe, but ourselves?
