[x] Basic social practice.
In response to the watchfulness of your caretakers, you make an effort to get to know your peers. The going is slow at first, but you have a fairly easy time convincing the most popular kids to pick you for their team whenever there's a free play period. Dialling back on your initial "play hard" philosophy, you give the other kids a chance to shine, and gradually become less of a one-boy team. After a few months, you're the guy everybody wants as their partner/teammate, though the same size that makes you valuable on the field still tends to spook the smaller, less confident kids. In general though, you can move through the group without having people try to hide from you.

As before, your dreams change course to reflect what you're attempting in the waking world. The display of Ganondorf's social skills is more an indication of what NOT to do if you want to make friends - dominating in games and sports was frankly the least of what he got up to as a kid. You do wonder why he was playing with so many girls at that age; they outnumber the boys three to one, and while all the females have the same general features and coloration as Ganondorf, the other boys are considerably more pale. Some of them even have the pointy ears you saw on Link and Zelda, which neither Ganondorf nor his female relatives do.
As the months pass, you grow larger, pick up more and more about the world around you, and further develop your skills. You've managed to shave the time you need to gather magical energy down to just a few seconds, and you've developed a few very minor tricks that you can do with it - generating the equivalent of candlelight for about a minute, shooting a tiny ball of energy that can shoo a buzzing fly, creating a small barrier that can hold back said fly, that sort of thing. Your dreams of Ganondorf's life start coming more frequently; by year's end, you can expect a new dream every month, and the things you see and recall from them have contributed greatly to your development. You've managed to work out the absolute basics of something that might laughingly be called a fighting style, though it probably won't work against anybody bigger than you, and you've likewise learned a bit about meditation. Mostly that it exists.

Life at home hit a bit of a snag this spring. Dad used to get up and go to work every morning, but for most of April and a bit of May, he just stayed home. With your improved social awareness, you were able to realize that he was upset about some adult thing, and you overheard him and your mother talking about work - apparently, Dad was "let go" from his old job, and was having a hard time dealing with it. You had to snoop a bit to find that much out, though, because he never showed it when you were around, and since he took over from Mom for picking you up after daycare and just looking after you in general, that "around" worked out to quite a bit of time. Talking with your caretakers and hearing how you were getting along better with the other kids seemed to make your Dad feel better, and you got a lot of practice throwing the football, as well as several other kinds of balls - baseball, basketball, soccerball. Your father really seems to be in favor of the sports thing.
Anyway, after a few weeks, Tony went to work at your Uncle Rory's garage. From dinner conversation, you've heard him tell your mother that it doesn't pay as well as the clerk's job he had at City Hall, but it's a lot less ulcer-inducing - whatever that means - and he never has to work nights. Something about the relief both your parents show at the statement strikes you as wrong. They really shouldn't be that happy about your father being able to get home before dark, should they?
Time passes. Your third birthday is just a couple of weeks away, and you're sort of looking forward to it, since it'll be the first one where you're allowed to invite friends you've met at daycare and at the playground. Your parents have been not-so-subtly asking what you'd like for a present. What's your answer?
[ ] A mighty beast pet.
[ ] New weapons and armor sports gear.
[ ] A proud steed new tricycle.
[ ] Something else? (Write in)
OOC: On the sudden glut of skills and traits - this is general life-experience adding up over time. It's about one-quarter as efficient as training a specific skill, and there are certain thresholds that cannot be exceeded without training.
