It took less than half an hour for the Christine to go down in flames, taking Eve and Ren with it. Ruby didn't look at it, focused on staring down Oracíon Seis, a blond man with a long, triangular nose wearing a helmet, rushed at her at high speeds, aiming a kick for her neck. Ruby threw up an arm catching the attack easily, to the surprise of thr man who threw the kick.
"You must be Racer?" Ruby said, "that was kinda fast, but let me show you what real speed is. Speed is weight, and I kick at the speed of light…"
Racer tried to dodge, only for Ruby to kick him as fast as she could, sending him crashing off the cliff they were on and flying into the treeline. That hadn't been as fast as it should have been…
Oh. So that's how he did it…
Ruby turned herself into a beam of light, chasing after Racer, "You're not fast, you just make everyone else slow."
"How'd you figure it out?" Racer grunted as Ruby drove a kick into his back.
"I'm a Light Wizard, speed is what I do."

Sawyer, no, he was Racer now, he had left behind the scared little kid in the Tower of Heaven, gritted his teeth before saying, "Gear Change: Redshift!"
Kicking the tree he was on, Racer slowed time to the max, lunging for Ruby Rose. Sending a spinning kick at her head, he grinned as she blocked it, using the other foot to uppercut her jaw. Her head cracked up, and her grip around his leg grew tighter before she span in place, whipping him around before throwing him spine first into a tree.
Racer stood up, launching forwards and throwing a series of punches at Ruby, who caught them with ease. Then Racer swept her feet out from under her, driving an axe kick into her gut and driving her into the ground.
The next thing Racer knew, he was in the air, watching a ball of light form above Ruby's fist. Twisting, he felt the blade nick the side of his body, causing blood to leak down it. Landing, he activated the Dead Grand Prix, Magicycles forming from his magical energy and driving at Ruby from all sides as Racer landed on one. Ruby bobbed and weaved between them before launching herself into the air in a beam of light. Hovering in midair, she created a lance of light, aiming at Racer at the same time Racer fired the guns on the Magicycle at her. The bullets seemed to hit some sort of force field while Ruby knocked the Magicycle out from under Racer.

Erza ran at Cobra, sword bared, as Natsu followed behind her, flames burning from his hands. The giant snake, Cubellios, lunged forwards and caught Erza's right arm in its jaw, crushing the armor but giving Erza the chance to flip her left hand sword around and attempt to drive it through the snake's eye.
It immediately recoiled while Natsu used Erza's back as a springboard, throwing a Fire Dragon's Wing Attack at Cobra, who dodged it easily and countered with a punch to the gut. Erza was forced to abort her attack when Hoteye opened a trench beneath her feet. Where were Jura and that imp Ichiya?
Cubellios went on the attack, slithering over the hole and lunging for Erza's neck. Erza caught it on her left vambrace and summoned a sword at her foot, kicking it into Cubellios' side. There was a flash of light in the distance, and Ruby appeared lunging at Cobra with a sword of light.
Cobra caught the approaching hand easily, saying, "So you took out Racer, huh? Always knew that idiot's obsession with speed would be the death of him. But still, I gotta pay you back for it, so, Poison Dragon's Claw Attack!"

Ruby tried to twist out of the way, but Cobra seemed to predict her moves, managing to just barely nick her side with the tip of his clawed hand. Immediately, an angry red began to spread from the wound as Cobra threw Ruby aside. Erza rushed over and caught her, cradling her in her arms.
"Wendy!" The voice of the white cat that followed Wendy, called and Erza turned in time to see the girl thrashing in Brain's arms as he jumped aboard Midnight's, who hadn't even woken up from the fighting, magic carpet and took off, Cobra following seconds later as Cubellios spread wings.
Erza took stock of the situation. Two of their members were missing, another had been kidnapped, and another, her fiancé, was barely conscious, seeming to be tearing every gasp of air she took from the world.

Gray hesitated, staring at the retreating Oracían Seis retreating, torn on what to do. On one hand, their job was to eliminate them, but at the same time, he couldn't get the sound of Ruby, probably the person who took "Fairy Tail is your family" most seriously in the entire guild, reaving gasps of air behind him.
"Ruby," Erza was saying urgently to her half lidded eyed fiancé, "Ruby, don't fall asleep, stay with me."
"We need to rescue Wendy," Carla, the white cat, said.
"We have more important things to worry about than her," Gray snapped.
"No, you dunderhead, I mean Wendy is perhaps the only chance to save your friend. She's an expert in healing magic.
"Don't be ridiculous," Lyon scoffed, "everyone knows Healing Magic is Lost."
"Wendy was taught it by the Sky Dragon Grandeeney," Carla snapped, "Sky Dragons are one of the few that remember the healing arts, according to Wendy."
"Then we need her back," Jura said, limping onto the cliffside, "and we need to be careful. Gemini disguised itself as Ichiya and attacked me."
