[X] Plan Outlast and Counter

If we wanted a stealth build should have picked being an Offensive type. I also hate the choice to focus on unarmed combat yet also picking Bone Constructs. We should never lack for a weapon. The sword style is also not suited for a stealth build as the main advantage of attacking from stealth is taking the target down fast and hard, not waiting them out.

Personally I would have preferred Partial Transformation over Bone Constructs and the strength and dex perks that let us use Yoki to boost them as that is where the real high tier abilities are.

Lady Maria build is a go.

There's one more character creation part we have to get through and you have to vote on your assigned region. You still have to pick the Rank B+ talents for your Constitution and Yoki Perception. I'll just leave the Rank A- vote to when we actually get into the story proper, since its mainly a narrative direction you guys want to go in and you don't get an actual ability until Rank A anyway.

Here's a rough breakdown for Constitution while I get Yoki Control sorted out. I'll answer any questions you guys might have.

Constitution Rank B+
Yoki Eater

Your corrosive blood is now especially deadly against targets with Yoki signatures by leeching Yoki Energy directly from their body and using it to fuel its own effects. More powerful foes experience a more potent effect, but foes with superior Yoki Control can resist this effect.
-Explosive Reaction
Once your blood absorbs enough Yoki, it violent detonates with force proportional to the Yoki of the target.
-Corrosive Growth
Your blood turns into a fungal-like substance that can use its absorbed Yoki to spread across and into the target.
-Yoki Disruption
Your blood distorts the Yoki energy of its target, disrupting the flow of Yoki through their body and their Yoki Perception.

Directed Response
You can control how your blood reacts to various objects. Friendly targets can be made immune to its effects, while its effect on enemy targets can be accelerated to burn through its Yoki reservoir at a faster rate.
-Healing Salve
Your blood can be made to accelerate healing of the localized area it contacts. This also provides you with the basic Passive Regeneration skill.
-Sensory Input
Your blood can boost your Yoki Perception on any target it is in contact with, allowing you a near perfect view of the flow of Yoki within its body.
-Yoki Leech
Your blood can leech Yoki Energy from the target and transmit that energy back to you, allowing you to fuel your abilities without affecting your Limit.

Infectious Agent
Your corrosive blood is now merely a delivery mechanism to introduce a potent pathogen into the target's bloodstream. Once inside, the pathogen infects the target and causes its body to slowly break down, reducing its physical abilities until death. Foes with superior Constitution, Healing or Yoki Control can fight off this effect.
-Viral Incubator
Your blood infects the blood of the target and uses its own blood to reproduce. When the target is injured or slain, its own blood can infect other targets.
-Hallucinogenic Toxin
Your blood travels to the brain and spine of the target, impairing their decision-making and inducing vivid hallucinations.
-Defibrillating Poison
Your blood induces an extreme reaction in the target's body, causing extreme pain, nausea and greatly reducing Strength, Dexterity, Constitution and Accelerated Healing.

Yoki Residue (Old)
-Sensory Relay

You can use your blood to relay your Yoki Perception. You can chain together this effect to great boost the range of your Yoki Perception, but doing so quickly drains its Yoki reservoir.
-Yoki Camouflage
Your blood can synchronize its Yoki to that of a target, making it extremely difficult to detect without superior Yoki Perception.
-Control Node
Once attached to a host, you can use your blood to rely your Yoki Control and disrupt the flow of Yoki in the host's body.

Blood Tendrils (Old)
-Reinforced Strands

Your blood tendrils are now much more densely arranged and can now exert enough force to crush normal Yoma and restrain Awakened Beings with low Strength.
-Crystallized Blood
You can harden your blood tendrils into a crystalline substance and use it to punch through the armor of most Awakened Beings, but you cannot revert them back.
-Animated Blood
Your blood no longer needs to be attached to your body to be controlled and it can draw on your Yoki Energy as long as you remain nearby.

Passive Regeneration (Old)
-Healing Trance (Old)
-Focused Regeneration (Old)
-Controlled Overexertion (Old)

I think I like Directed Response best for its diverse utility, and would choose Yoki Leech to grant us even more staying power and support further techniques that rely on Yoki Control.

Careful with Infectious Agent. If the Organizations goal is still the same as canon that would make them unhealthily interested in us I think.

I actually really like Controlled Overexertion for this build. We're theoretically pretty damn lethal already if we can just tag someone, and we're sturdy enough to wait for an opportunity to tag someone with our blood, we just need to be fast and strong enough to exploit that opportunity.

We're not just an endurance fighter after all, we're really banking on getting our blood on them, and that requires we really optimize around exploiting any opportunities.

Hello there, meant to comment in this Quest earlier but kept getting sidetracked. Just missed the chargen votes, but that's okay, what we have looks fine and interesting.

I'm reasonably familiar with Claymore, and (funnily enough given our faceclaim) I once planned a RP in a Victorian-era AU Claymore, but that was years and years ago.

Alright, here's the second half of your upgrades. Full update will be tomorrow, but the choices shouldn't change.

Yoki Control: Rank B+
Bone Smith

You can create specially designed weapons that suit your preferred fighting style and further raise your effective Swordsmanship.
-Honed Edge
You can sharpen the edges of your bone weapons to such a degree that it can easily cut through the armor of most Awakened Beings, but the blade becomes brittle and dulls easily.
-Advanced Weaponry
You have become so efficient with your bone weapons that you have developed a unique Advanced Skill that you Favor. (Swords, Spears, Daggers, etc.)
-Complex Weaponry
You can now create a powerful longbow from your bones and you have developed a special Archery Advanced Skill that you Favor.

Bone Shards
Your bone projectiles are now more compact and aerodynamic, allowing you to generate and fire entire volleys of them to shred targets.
-Penetrator Bolt
You can launch a large bolt of heavily condensed bone with an armored tip that can pierce the armor of most Awakened Beings.
-Razor Wing
You can form a rack of prepared bone shards on your back that lets you continuously regenerate shards and launch them without requiring use of your arms.
-Organic Artillery
You transform your entire right arm and much of your upper-right torso into a special configuration designed specifically to launch your bone shards over incredible distances with immense force.

Dust Cloud
You can convert your bones into a fine powder that you can control to a limited degree to obscure the battlefield and disrupt Yoki Perception.
-Dust Storm
You can refine your bone dust into deadly grains that can shred any unarmored flesh across a wide area.
-Yoki Miasma
Once your bone dust is inhaled or otherwise enters a target's body, it begins to destroy the internal organs of the target and disrupts regeneration.
-Bone Shackles
You can reform and harden your bone dust on a target to encase them in a dense layer of bone that can immobilize or at least slow targets. Opponents wit superior Strength can break the shackles.

Partial Transformation (Old)
-Improved Locomotion

You can transform your legs into a variety of forms that greatly increases your effective Dexterity and improves the effectiveness of your wings.
-Monstrous Appendage
You can transform your hands and arms into a variety of forms designed to increase your effective Strength and counter specific opponents.
-Combat Tentacles
You can transform your fingers or arms into powerful tentacles that greatly boosts your effective Strength, which you can extend or contract at will.

Razor Web (Old)
-Razor Lash

You have developed a combat form that employs strands of your hair in direct combat, gaining a Favored Advanced Skill.
-Spider's Nest
You can use your hair to relay your Yoki Perception and Control, allowing you to sense nearby Yoki signatures and distorting enemy Yoki Perception.
-Yoki Puppeteer
You can attach your hair to a target and use your Yoki to control or limit its movement. Enemies with superior Strength can break free, but they will injure themselves without superior Constitution as well.

Yoki Synchronization (Old)
-Synchronized Healing (Old)
-Yoki Camouflage (Old)
-Yoki Disruption (Old)

Dammit, Yoki Miasma combined with Yoki Eater or Infectious Agent seems like an extremely powerful move

@rdc30 can we use the misama to deliver our blood?

Yeah, just assume that if it came from your ability, you can transfer the effects.

Meant to comment a while back but got distracted. This is looking like a really unusual claymore we got here.

Looking forward to the next chapters.

well, i'm caught up after a few days of irl shit...

Yoki Miasma is just... i'm honestly laughing, it's a great complement to the build. I see no reason not to take it, tbh.

Corrosive Growth and Yoki Disruption both seem pretty valuable, Healing Salve... would be nice to have, but alas, higher priorities. It doesn't improve our main gimmick, it actually may conflict with it (we'd have to switch between poison and healing on the fly, or set up specific redundant organs for poison while our main circulatory system is healing). Hallucinogenic feels like it may backfire since we're using it on monsters, and Defibrilating is a pretty solid debuff that directly reduces the skills used to resist it. Incubator... feels excessive. On one hand it means it's easier to arm other Claymores with vials of our pathogen, on the other hand, that reduces our own value, especially if they can obtain something the virus can breed indefinitely in. It also feels like the path towards 'Oops, lost control of our pathogen. World's fucked' if we're careless.

Yoki Control is kinda important for shrugging off our stuff, by the looks of it, so honestly, it'd be nice if we could pair Corrosive Growth and Yoki Disruption at some point, but i think i'm going to lean towards Corrosive Growth this time around. Our Yoki Control is pretty solid, so it's harder to resist than 'Constitution, Healing, or Control' of Infectious Agent, and Corrosive Growth can potentially be an outright win-condition depending on how fast it grows.

Bone stuff. Aside from Miasma being a great addition, anyways. Bone Smith, in general, serves as a fairly basic and effective delivery mechanism for our blood. I think it's somewhat outclassed by other options, though. The longbow does add to 'feels unusual for something named after a type of sword' though, which is nice. Bone Shards. I think Penetrator Bolt directly outclasses Honed Edge, with the caveat that we'd have to be very careful not to overpenetrate. Our bones can't deliver our blood properly if they just pierce through and fly out the other side! Razor Wing is interesting, allows us to easily and quickly apply blood to multiple locations of a softer target, or fire spreads to deal with multiple targets. On the other hand, it doesn't necessarily help us against armored targets; if the bone projectiles bounce right off, we can't inject blood, now can we? Dust Storm suffers a similar problem where it's a good AoE against soft targets, but isn't as effective against armored targets, and also probably can't apply blood properly unless we wound ourselves with it and mix blood into the storm. Organic Artillery opens up a sniper build, but I think we'd have wanted to invest in Perception for that. We'd probably be a passable sniper, but an attack type specced for perception, yoki control, and stealth would do the job better than us any day of the week.

I'm going to propose the following combinations for the thread's consideration.

Yoki Miasma+Corrosive Growth
-The 'obvious' option, we just apply both and wait for our opponent to die. Simple as that.
Razor Wings+Defibrilating Poison
-Apply debuff repeatedly, plain and simple.

Razor Wings+Yoki Leech
-Exhaust the opponent by applying Yoki Leech repeatedly, using the energy leeched to fuel more bone projectiles.
Organic Artillery+Yoki Camo
-An offense-type Claymore would be better at it than us, unfortunately, and it'd kinda waste our Constitution investment if we're never in melee
Healing Salve+Honed Edge
-Not the most effective thing we could choose, but it's certainly something, and it counterpoints the whole 'cinnamon roll but uses inhumane tactics' thing. Gives our fellow Claymores a reason to like us beyond our shining personality.

Healing Salve+Yoki Synchonization
-As above, but pure healing. Our combat ability would suffer, though.

Healing Salve+Yoki Disruption
-Support, i suppose.
Hallucinogenic Toxin+Yoki Disruption
-Your opponent can never trust their senses again.

Bone Smith
You can create specially designed weapons that suit your preferred fighting style and further raise your effective Swordsmanship.
-Advanced Weaponry
You have become so efficient with your bone weapons that you have developed a unique Advanced Skill that you Favor. (Swords, Spears, Daggers, etc.)

I waited for people to make plan or vote fora min now i'm giving it a go at it.

these are want I will vote for .

Most Warriors with even middling levels of promise eventually develop a personal technique unique to their capabilities, provided, of course, they live long enough to reach that illustrious milestone. This pattern is especially true for Warriors ranked in the Single-Digits and you are no exception, even though you often wished it were otherwise. During the early stages of your training, you manifested several unique abilities that quickly denoted you as exceptional, whether you desired it or not, and while your Strength, Dexterity and Swordsmanship were all mediocre, they were still superior to those of most of your fellow Trainees, so you were never placed in a situation where you felt challenged. Once you began to face Louise during training, you finally began to actually refine the versatile abilities that you made an active effort to not only ignore, but preferred not to even acknowledge.

Constitution Rank B+ (Pick One Main Ability and One Specialization)
To say the Researchers of the Organization were fascinated by your body would be an understatement. Judging by how excited they were to mutilate you in new and unimaginable cruel ways every time they saw you, one would not be remiss to believe that those fine gentlemen simply took some twisted pleasure in your suffering. You can say with near certainty that, out of your entire class and perhaps even your entire Generation, the Researchers spent more time tormenting you more than they did everyone else combined. Every time you were escorted to the laboratories, you noticed more and more of your disgusting pink blood in massive glass cylinders with all manner of strange contraptions surrounding it and groups of Researchers discussing it with phrases and words that meant nothing to you. You still remember the first time your blood manifested its horrific properties, especially since, while it might have been another blow to the tattered remains of your humanity and led to three years of unending misery, the look of shock on that Researcher's face an instant it melted away like a wax sculpture did at least brighten your otherwise miserable day.

The Researchers were much more cautious with you after that little incident and even the Guards regarded you wearily as they escorted you from the barracks to the laboratories and then dragged your mutilated body back to your cell. During your all too frequent training sessions with Louise, the normally eerily calm girl actually hesitated slightly, since her ability to heal is practically nonexistent and she lacked the speed to completely overwhelm you. The temporary reprieve it afforded you quickly expired, however, and you were soon back under their knives, now created from the same wondrous metal as your blades, and the Researchers had switched to protective clothing created from the same black fabric that your blood cannot dissolve which compose your uniform, while, in training, Louise had finally developed her Swordsmanship to the point where she was able to angle her strikes to direct the majority of your blood away from her.

You never realized it at the time, but, looking back, it almost appears as though your blood was reacting to your surroundings and actually adapting to counteract the threats, because, shortly before your final trials and graduation, your blood suddenly manifested even more bizarre properties.

The term the Researchers coined to describe it was:

[ ][CONSTITUTION] Yoki Eater

You had always possessed exceptional Yoki Control, but the Researchers were genuinely surprised by how your blood was able to directly siphon Yoki Energy from like a parasite attached to a host, be it Yoma, a fellow Warrior or even Awakened Beings, in order to booster its own corrosive effects. In that regard, the more powerful the host creature is, the more potent and persistent your blood becomes, but it is not without its weakness, particularly since the process involves every drop of your blood instinctively synchronizing its Yoki signature to that of the host in order to draw upon its Yoki Energy. This means that an opponent with particularly exceptional Yoki Control can nullify the effect, while those with truly exceptional Constitution or Accelerated Healing can regenerate after than the corrosion. This ability made you considerably more dangerous during your training sessions with Louise, since her vastly inferior Yoki Control meant that any drop of blood that managed to latch onto her body had the potential to seriously injure her, which, despite everything, was something that you did your best to avoid whenever possible.
-[ ][EATER] Explosive Reaction
Rather than simply increasing the longevity and corrosiveness of your blood when it latches onto a host body, your blood begins to energize the stolen Yoki Energy into a highly volatile state kept under control by the Yoki reservoir of your blood. Once your blood no longer contains enough of your Yoki Energy to continue this process, the stolen Yoki Energy is released with explosive force equal to the amount of Yoki Energy absorbed.
-[ ][EATER] Corrosive Growth
Once your blood has made contact with a target with Yoki Energy, it turns into a fungal-like substance that latches onto the flesh of the target and begins to drain Yoki Energy and bodily fluids in order to fuel its own aggressive growth. Once imbedded, the blood-mold is nearly impossible to remove and it continues to expand across the host body, increasingly weakening the target until death.
-[ ][EATER] Yoki Disruption
Your blood can now manipulate the Yoki Energy of both itself as well as the Yoki Energy of its host, allowing it to disrupt the Yoki Perception and flow of Yoki Energy in the host's body. Targets with superior Yoki Perception or Control can mitigate for these disruptions.

[ ][CONSTITUTION] Directed Response
The first day that your blood manifested its corrosive properties, you very nearly lost your life when your blood dissolved the crude metallic staples holding the two mutilated halves of your chest closed and it was only by some manner of direct intervention by the Goddesses, one that you are still unsure whether to consider a blessing or curse, that cellmates managed to reapply enough temporary clamps that kept your insides from tumbling out, until the Researchers were able to forge staples that could resist your blood. To your eternal shame, however, the other girls that managed to save you were horrifically injured by the ordeal, when they ignored your pleas for them to stop, even as the flesh on their hands began to fall away in melted clumps. One girl in particular, an Offensive-Type Warrior named Marie, was never able to regenerate her hands back to full strength, despite being given a special serum by the Researchers designed to boost her limited regeneration. Their sacrifice shaped much of your behavior during your training, whenever you began to doubt and your thoughts turned to dark places, you always forced yourself to remember that you owe your life to your comrades and to give up would be to dishonor their pain. In order to ensure that your cursed blood would never hurt another one of your comrades or innocents again, you dedicated your attention toward devising a way to control your blood, until, finally, you managed to learn to exert enough control over it that it began to differentiate between friend and foe.
-[ ][DIRECTED] Healing Salve
In an effort to find some manner that your blood can be used to help instead of hurt, you have learned to reverse its corrosive effects and turn it into a salve that, when applied to an injured fellow Warrior, you can boost their regeneration by having your blood synchronize their Yoki signature with that of the other Warrior, allowing them to draw upon the stored Yoki Energy within. This effect also allows you to boost your body's Passive Regeneration by using your blood to circulate Yoki Energy to heal your own injuries.
-[ ][DIRECTED] Sensory Input
In the process of refining the Yoki Perception of your blood in order to allow it to identify different Yoki signatures other than your own, you have devised a way that applies this ability in a different way that allows your blood to detect the flow of Yoki in the target's body and rely that information back to you, allowing you to monitor the internal flow of Yoki Energy in the target as long as it remains in the range of your Yoki Perception.
-[ ][DIRECTED] Yoki Leech
It is normally impossible for a Warrior to directly absorb the Yoki Energy of another being, but your blood has developed a powerful ability that allows it to manipulate the Yoki signature of small amounts of Yoki Energy from a host body and then forcibly synchronize them to your own Yoki signature, allowing you to draw upon this stolen power without drawing to chanel your own Yoki Energy.

[ ][CONSTITUTION] Infectious Agent
The world can be a cruel and depressing place, but the Goddesses seem especially intent on making your life as miserable as possible. Most Warriors have no idea that there is apparently an entire dungeon below the laboratories filled with quarantine cells typically reserved for plague victims. You distinctly remember finding the existence of such a vast and specialized facility bizarre and rather suspicious, but, at the time, you had more pressing matters occupying your attention. During one your daily routine mutilation sessions, the Researchers apparently discovered that your blood carries a particularly deadly pathogen and, for the safety of inhabitants of the Organization's headquarters, mainly the Men in Black, less so the Warriors and Trainees, you were to be quarantined indefinitely, until the Researchers either find a cure or confirm that your blood-pathogen is not infectious. After what seemed like years in that dark cell deep below the ground, you were finally released back to the Barracks when the Researchers confirmed that while the pathogen can be deadly, it was not transmittable and they had managed to devise some cure from samples of your own blood.
-[ ][INFECTIOUS] Viral Incubator
You were soon thrown back into the quarantine cell, when another routine procedure revealed that your blood had, somehow, manifested the ability to be transmitted from host to host through infected blood. Needless to say, once you were finally released, shortly before your final trials, even Louise proved reluctant to resume your duels, which, ironically enough, actually hurt you more her attacks ever did.
-[ ][INFECTIOUS] Hallucinogenic Toxin
Exposure to your bloodborne pathogen also experience reduced cognitive functions and rationality as the poison travels through the host toward the brain. Hosts also begin to suffer increasingly vivid and extreme hallucinations as the pathogens saturates the brain, until organ failure and brain death occur.
-[ ][INFECTIOUS] Debilitating Poison
The potency of your bloodborne pathogen quickly grew and, by the time of your final trials, it had developed far beyond the simple corrosive effect it began with. The pathogen now attacks the nerves and muscles of its host, causing extreme pain and greatly weakening their Strength, Dexterity, Constitution and Accelerated Regeneration.

[ ][CONSTITUTION] Yoki Residue
The Organization typically employs at least one Warrior in the Single-Digits to act as a specialized Tracker to hunt down particularly elusive targets, which typically happen to be Awakened Beings who managed to retain enough of their mind to avoid drawing the attention of the Organization, but you would imagine a more important role that remains unspoken is tracking down Warriors attempt to desert their post. For a brief few weeks, you sensed that the Handlers were evaluating you for which a dubious distinction, but they quickly realized that you were much more likely to be the one being tracked for desertion than the reverse. Regardless, even if you threw away all sense of pride and dignity to become their loyal dog, your ability to sense your own blood with perfect accuracy far beyond the typical range of your Yoki Perception and its ability to leave a trackable residue of Yoki even after depleting its Yoki reservoir still makes you ill-suited to become a Tracker, since your ability would require you to somehow get your blood either onto or, preferably, into the body of your, where it can leech Yoki Energy to remain activate indefinitely requires the target to be engaged by a hunting party in the first place.
-[ ][RESIDUE] Sensory Relay
You can use drops of your blood to extended the range of your Yoki Perception indefinitely, allowing you to monitor an extreme wide region with the same degree of accuracy as your Yoki Perception. In order to avoid triggering the corrosive effect that will rapidly deplete your blood's Yoki reservoir, the Organization has equipped you with small crystal vials that can hold a drop of your blood, but actively using it to relay your Yoki Perception still drains its Yoki reservoir.
-[ ][RESIDUE] Delayed Reaction
Once attached to a host, you can place your corrosive blood into hibernation to disable its corrosive effect and effectively halting the drain on its Yoki reservoir. The blood will also synchronize its own Yoki signature to match that of the host, which makes it extremely difficult to detect it as a separate source of Yoki Energy, but your Yoki Perception can still detect it and you can trigger the corrosive effect as long as you are in range.
-[ ][RESIDUE] Control Node
You can use your blood to relay your Yoki Control abilities within range and any blood that attaches onto a host body with Yoki Energy allows you to directly disrupt the flow of Yoki Energy in that body. This ability rapidly drains the Yoki reservoir of your blood, but if your blood enters the host's body, it can drain Yoki Energy from the host and gives a greater degree of control over the flow of its Yoki Energy.
-[ ][RESIDUE](Write-In)
(Subject to GM Approval)

[ ][CONSTITUTION] Blood Tendrils
After that first night and driven by shame every time you look at the half-healed hands of the comrades who saved your life, you have sought a way to control the dangerous corrosive nature of your blood. You knew you possessed exceptional Yoki Control and, while you were still only beginning to come to terms with exactly you have become, you were still able to devise a crude, but surprisingly effective means of limiting the danger you pose to your fellow Trainees. By directing your blood to form tendrils of linked droplets, you are able to channel Yoki Energy down the length of the strengths and control them as though they are extension of your own body. Due to the crude and inexperienced nature of your technique, however, the tendrils are easily severed and lack the ability to constrict anything stronger than normal Yoma, but a combination of their potent corrosive nature and the momentum by which you can maneuver them allows you to easily pierce Yoma flesh. Still, After using it great effect during your duels with Louse, however, you can state with certainty that, for that which was not originally developed for martial purposes, this ability can be quite versatile in combat.
-[ ][TENDRILS] Reinforced Strands
One of the most obvious weaknesses with your blood tendrils is that their relative fragility and inability to properly exert enough force make them generally ineffectual against anything more powerful than a basic Yoma, but, after much experimenting, you have managed to devise a way by which you can compress multiple strands into a single extremely durable and powerful strand that can resist attacks from weaker foes and exert much more force. These new strands can be used to smash targets, restrain Voracious Eaters or even weak Awakened Beings and even exert enough force to crush a normal Yoma.
-[ ][TENDRILS] Crystallized Blood
In an effort to further refine your technique, you sought a way to permanently, or at least a prolongedly, neutralize your corrosive blood, you devised a means by you can compact your blood into a solid crystalline state, but, to your horror, rather than neutralize its corrosivity, the crystallized blood actually appeared to amplify its effects. In the end, all your managed to achieve was to further weaponize your body, because the crystallized blood allows your blood tendrils to punch through almost any armor through of a combination of its enhanced corrosivity and hardened tip.
-[ ][TENDRILS] Animated Blood
While your blood tendrils approved quite effective in their original intended purpose as well as a makeshift means of attack, your insightful dueling partner eventually developed her fighting style to a point where she could predict the movement of the strands and used their own momentum to sever them in a way that directed the controlled blood away from her. You attempted several different ways by which you could compensate for this weakness and, eventually, you managed to develop a way to remotely control your blood without having a direct Yoki Energy channel to your body.

[ ][CONSTITUTION] Passive Regeneration
The first thing you attempted to do after the surgery, once the crippling agony and nausea of having your insides twisted by the implanted Yoma flesh finally alleviated, was to attempt to close that horrific gapping wound running from your throat all the way down to your lower pelvis. The metal staples the researchers used to hold your mutilated body together makes every breath you take send waves of pain down your chest as the metal agitates the only part of your body that still feels Human. In the end, while you were never able to remove the stigma from your body, you were able to develop a modified form of your Accelerated Healing that no longer requires you to focus and channel Yoki Energy. The process is far too slow to be of any practical use in combat and might not be enough to save you from fatal injuries, but it should greatly improve your rate of recovery after battles and could be useful in certain situations where you cannot utilize your normal Accelerated Healing.
-[ ][PASSIVE] Healing Trance
Most Warriors require very little in the way of sleep, but you can improve your Passive Regeneration by entering a sleep-like trance that allows your body to heal much faster. Most injuries can be healed overnight, while more serious injuries and lost limbs can be healed over days. For fatal injuries beyond the capabilities of your Passive Regeneration, you can enter a coma-like state to buy time for assistance to arrive, but you cannot awaken until your condition has stabilized.
-[ ][PASSIVE] Focused Regeneration
While your Passive Regeneration does not require normally require your attention, you have learned to focus its effects to increase the rate of regeneration for specific injuries, but your other injuries will stop regenerating. This allows you to prioritize certain injuries during combat to achieve an effect comparable to a weak version of your Accelerated Healing Advanced Skill. You must be conscious to focus your regeneration and you cannot focus on two injuries simultaneously.
-[ ][PASSIVE] Controlled Overexertion
By leveraging your passive regeneration to quickly mend minor injuries, you have learned to push beyond the physical limits of your body to temporarily boost the effective rank of your Strength and Dexterity. Pushing yourself to this degree will cause damage to your body that must be healed, while repeated usage and extreme levels overexertion can overwhelm your Passive Regeneration and potentially led to a major injury.

[X][CONSTITUTION] Physical Resilience
While the bodies of almost all successfully hybridized Warriors are highly resilient to injuries and other debilitating effects, most of their bodies still fundamentally function the same way as their old Human bodies did, which means that they are still vulnerable to many of the same structural weaknesses. For you, however, the mutations that twisted your body into a cruel mockery of the Human form was much more extensive on a physical level than it usually is for the majority of Warriors and has also fundamentally altered much of your organs to the point that only your outward appearance can still be considered anything even approaching something Human. To make matters worse, beneath your skin, you can still feel your organs writhing and changing as though the transformation that turned you into a half-breed Warrior was only the first step and, one day, you fear the changes wrecking your body will begin to twist your mind as well.
-[ ][RESILENCE] Ablative Armor
You can control your skin and muscles to form hardened plates of organic armor designed to absorb the force of a blow and then break away to redirect the attack away from your body without hindering your movement. Once the armor has formed, you can no longer manipulate it, but you can detach it from your body to create a new plate. Once the plating has formed, your body requires several seconds to heal the lost skin and muscles.
-[ ][RESILENCE] Redundant Organs
Your insides have been radically transformed by the implanted Yoma flesh and you have acquired numerous secondary organs that can temporarily sustain your body, until you are able to regenerate the damaged organs. You can also survive extreme blood-loss by fueling your secondary organs with Yoki Energy instead of blood, but your brain still requires oxygen to survive and you are still dependent on your nervous system to survive.
-[X][RESILENCE] Hardened Physiology
Your skin, muscles and bones have all become extremely flexible and durable to the point that blows that would deal crippling or even potentially fatal injuries to Humans and even weaker Warriors are only capable of inflicting minor flesh wounds on your body. This improved muscle and bone structure also allows you to increase your Strength and Dexterity, but its complex nature also makes serious injuries more slower to regenerate.

Yoki Control: Rank B+ (Pick One Main Ability and One Specialization)
Looking back on it now, you suppose a young girl who was so heinously kidnapped before she could learn basic Human biology at university would not realize that blood is produced by the marrow of of bones. As such, you were horrified when, during another one of your routine mutilation sessions down in the Laboratories, the Researchers who attempted to remove parts of your ribs for testing suddenly found themselves impaled by jagged spikes of bone, which had, without warning erupted from your chest cavity. Of course, by that point in your training, the senior Researchers had long since decided that mutilating you on a daily basis is a spectacle best enjoyed from a safe distance, so the only lives lost in that incident were apprentices whose deaths failed to elicit even a single hint of consideration. The senior Researchers were far more interested in your body and the extreme degree that the Yoma flesh has twisted your physiology into they termed a Living Weapon, an apex predator whose connection to her Yoma instincts has overshadowed her old sense of self to such a degree that she subconsciously prioritizes lethality over her humanity.

They taunted you so gleefully that you are still not sure whether they actually intended to mock you or if they were genuinely so detached from whatever twisted tatters of their humanity remains that they actually thought you might share in their enthusiasm. Yoma do not truly possess an actual consistent form, they told you, even as they resumed their mutilation and worked to extract most of your ribcage to add to their disturbingly large collection of your various body parts and fluids. As shapeshifters, Yoma only maintain a humanoid form because their primary prey is Humans and they typically spend so much of their lifespan disguised as a Human that they eventually begin to retain the basic humanoid form, even when they hunt and feed. As such, the reason why Awakened Beings have such varied appearances is because, by Awakening to their Yoma side, a Warrior finally abandons her humanity completely, leaving their self-image essentially a blank canvas with only their predatory instincts and hunger to consider. They theorized that your exceptional Constitution is merely a byproduct of your Yoki Control, which itself is a result your thorough connection with your Yoma instincts and you held the potential to, one day, rise to the rank of Number One within the Organization.

Whether they were sincere in their assessment or merely attempted to appeal to your ego is, in the end, utterly irrelevant, because what they want from you is the one thing that you will die before you allowed them to take it from you. They want their so-called 'Living Weapon' to discard what remains of her humanity and fully embrace her Yoma instincts. They want you to Awaken, not into some mindless beast who hungers for Human flesh, but a mindless beast who does whatever her masters command.

[X][CONTROL] Bone Smith
The Researchers wasted no time after the discovery of your ability to manipulate your bone before they started to try to tear down your humanity and one way they prefer to do that is by taking away your blade during training and forcing you to fight with your Bone Constructs. In a combination of practicality and stubbornness, you modeled your preferred bone weapon based on the design and even weight of your old blade, much to the annoyance of the Researchers. To your surprise and more than a little fear, however, you quickly found that your Swordsmanship had seemingly improved to a point that Louise actually commented on it in private, suggesting that wielding a weapon with your own Yoki Energy flowing through it has turned a simple weapon into a extension of your body. You know she was only helping to be helpful in her own way, but what she revealed did not comfort you as much as she thought it would.
-[X][SMITH] Honed Edge
The strange metal the Organization uses to forge a Warrior's blade is nearly indestructible and retains an perfect edge without any need for grindstone, but while your bone weapons might not be nearly as durable and the edge can dull after extended use, you have honed your skill to the point that you can now construct blades a superior edge that can cut through the toughened flesh of Awakened Beings.
-[ ][SMITH] Advanced Skill - Dueling: C- (Favored)
You never particularly favored the heavy cumbersome blades all Warriors are trained to wield, but you did find your early training before your surgery with a normal sabre more stimulating and its speed complemented your fighting style better. After testing and practicing with what must of been hundreds of designs, you eventually settled on a heavy sabre that you can wield perfectly with one hand, relying on your corrosive blood to compensate for the loss in force.
-[ ][SMITH] Advanced Skill - Marksmanship: C- (Favored)
As you continued to test the limits of your bone construction, you eventually worked out how to integrate a high-strength sinew into the designs, which allowed you to form a rudimentary longbow crafted from a single long piece of bone with such high tension strength that only your inhuman physique allows you to draw it back to fire serrated bone arrows coated in your corrosive blood.

[ ][CONTROL] Bone Shards
One of the most versatile manifestations of your ability to manipulate your own physiology is your ability to generate small shards of bone along your forearms that you can launch with a wave of your arm. The shards can take a variety of forms and functions, from small aerodynamic darts to razor disks that you can subtly direct along a curved trajectory. One major drawback that Louise immediately demonstrated during one of your first dueling sessions after you manifested this ability is that it requires you to free up your arms and gain some distance from the target for you to build enough momentum to launch the shards properly, which can be a difficult challenge during an actual deadly situation, especially one where you already on the defensive.
-[ ][SHARDS] Penetrator Bolt
Lacking a way to reliably defeat heavily armored foes with your Bone Shards, you designed a special heavy shard the length of your forearm with a tip made of a sharpened crystallized bone. The bolt takes several seconds to form and fire, but it has the ability to pierce almost any armor and deliver a dose of your blood directly into the target.
-[ ][SHARDS] Razor Wing
One of the first deficiencies you noticed regarding your Bone Shards is that they require the use of your arms to generate proper momentum, which means that you have to temporarily disengage from melee combat to launch them. You eventually designed two external racks of bone based on the wings of a bird with your Bone Shards taking the place of feathers, which can articulate properly to launch the projectiles and regenerate replacements without interfering with your other limbs.
-[ ][SHARDS] Organic Artillery
You are still not quite sure whether it was a actual practical desire to refine your Bone Shards or simply morbid fascination at seeing how far you can push the absolute absurdity and crime against all things decent your body has become that pushed you to develop this special configuration. You based the concept on the old ballistae designs, using your own your muscles to act as a torsion spring to launch your bone shards at incredible speed over an impractical distance that extends beyond your Yoki Perception range. Each shot requires several seconds to prepare and the entire configuration is so unwieldy that you can barely even move while it is deployed, but its effect can be devastating.

[ ][CONTROL] Dust Cloud
During another one of your routine mutilation sessions, the Researchers were almost as shocked as you were, when they removed half of your ribcage to add to their disturbingly large collection of your body parts, only to watch in stunned horror as the gore-soaked bone fragment crumbled into dust that immediately exploded into a choking cloud of obscuring dust. The black protective coats they wore when they operated on you like this had small openings in the back to allow the Researchers to breath, but while the design of the equipment protected them from your blood, it did less than nothing against the rapidly expanding cloud of still very much corrosive bone dust. A better person might have felt compiled by honor and decency to attempt to help as the Researchers screamed and tore at their slowly dissolving faces, but, to your shame, you must confess, in that moment, you felt nothing except cruel satisfaction.
-[ ][DUST] Dust Storm
While your bone dust is not as directly dangerous to everyone around you as your corrosive blood, you were still deeply unnerved by the experience and immediately sought out a way to control it after the Researchers finally threw you back into your cell. After weeks of nonstop testing and practicing, you finally learned how to channel Yoki Energy through the grains to control the cloud to a limit degree, allowing you to limit the exposure of innocents and your comrades, while focusing on your opponents.
-[ ][DUST] Yoki Miasma
After the unfortunate Researchers who inhaled your bone dust finally, mercifully, passed away from their horrific injuries, the other Researchers dissected and mutilated their corpses to study the effects of your bone dust on the internal organs of its victims. They discovered that, once inhaled, your bone dust begins to manifest the effects of a potent pathogen that filters from the lungs into the bloodstream and begins to dissolve major organs, while also disrupting the effects of Accelerated Healing, even though you have no idea how they could possibly discover that without having tested it on captured Yoma or one of your fellow Warriors.
-[ ][DUST] Bone Shackles
In an effort to reduce the harm that your bone dust is likely to cause, you attempted to uncover whether or not you can force them to reform into a solid mass that would be easier to dispose of and less likely to be accidentally inhaled by an innocent victim or another Warrior, you managed to develop a technique to force the dust to solidify into a crystalline state when they make contact with an object. While the results were far from satisfactory and still potentially dangerous, the technique is useful in combat, because it rapidly encases opponents in a growing layer of corrosive crystalline bone that restricts movement and dissolves back into dust if shattered.

[ ][CONTROL] Partial Transformation
Conventional wisdom taught by the Organization to all Trainees is that once a Warrior Awakens, she can never return to her Human form again, but, apparently, you are living proof that is not completely true. The first time you performed a Partial Transformation was during one of your sparring sessions with Louise, shortly after the girl had developed the first iteration of her Lunar Eye technique. The precision of the technique easily defeated your mediocre Swordsmanship and ability to evade, but, acting on a instinct that terrifies you, you managed to twist your left arm at an impossible angle and deflect the strike by transforming your hand into a monstrous clawed form. For brief moment, you can see shock and look of betrayal on Louise's face as the same thought you had must have crossed her mind in that instant as well, because her face became eerily expressionless in a way that she had never shown to you before. You had no doubt that she would have tried to kill you right there and you would not have blamed her for it in the slightest, because everyone could sense what could only have been a Warrior Awakening. In some desperate last attempt to least die as a Human like you swore to do, you were surprised when your arm immediately obeyed as you and the other Trainees looked on in shock at your flesh flowing like water back into its original configuration. Louise never fully trusted you again after that and you do not blame her for it in the slightest, even though the Trainers and Researchers stated that Partial Transformations are not unprecedented and were, in fact, something they had anticipated based on your other abilities.
-[ ][TRANSFORMATION] Improved Locomotion
The sight of your transformed body elicits a combination of utter self-loathing and existential terror that makes you physical ill at the sight of it, but while it disgusts on a level that you cannot even properly articulate, you realize that it would be irresponsible and selfish for you to ignore this ability, especially since you can use it to transform your legs and your wings into various hideously monstrous forms designed to improve your effective Dexterity.
-[ ][TRANSFORMATION] Monstrous Appendage
The Organization might call you a Living Weapon, but a weapon in of itself does not denote morality and if the Goddesses are so insistent on making you one, then, for the sake of your sanity and any hope for the future, then you need to come to terms with it and learn how to control it. By transforming your arms and hands into a variety of deadly instruments, you can boost your limited offensive capabilities and effective Strength.
-[ ][TRANSFORMATION] Combat Tentacles
You cannot stand the feeling of your limbs twisted and deformed into whatever monstrous forms your deprived mind can imagine, so as unintuitive as it might seem, you actually prefer to form tentacles from your back, because then you at least never have to look upon what kind of disgusting creature you have become. The tentacles are quite powerful and useful, raising your effective Strength, while still allowing you free use of all your human limbs.

[ ][CONTROL] Razor Web
You could always sense minuscule amounts of Yoki Energy flowing into your long, wavy strands of bleached silver hair, but you never truly paid much heed to it, until the Researchers informed you that your entire body is a Living Weapon designed to express your predatory instincts led you to reconsider every aspect of your mutated body. While your early efforts were limited to ensuring you always have perfectly well-kept and glamorous hair every morning, you eventually began to strengthen them to the point that they began stronger than normal steel and, since the diameter of each strand of hair is finer than most blades, you eventually learned to how to manipulate and embed them into the environment to use as tripwires, makeshift steps and deadly invisible razor wire that can easily decapitate any Yoma clumsy to stumble into your trap.
-[ ][WEB] Advanced Skill - Razor Hair: C- (Favored)
As insane as it might seem now, when you first began work on what would eventually turn into your unique combat stlye, you were actually attempting to find a less-lethal use for your hair to avoid endangering your fellow Warriors and any innocent bystander. Based on an old game your mother used to play with you during your childhood in which you arranged and manipulate a string around your fingers to create elaborate patterns, you can manipulate your strands of hair to attack your opponents from any angle with invisible razor wire.
-[ ][WEB] Spider's Nest
Your razor hair works best when you can properly embed them into the environment, preferably before combat even begins, allowing to extend the range of your Yoki Control and Perception through each strand of your hair to cover a wide area, but you can also set up an intricate web of your hair around a single location to boost the effective level of your Yoki Perception.
-[ ][WEB] Yoki Puppeteer
By running your Yoki Energy through your razor hair, you can attach the strands directly to the flesh of an opponent, allowing you to restrain their movement, dismember them or channel your Yoki Control through the strands in order to exert a limited degree of control over the target. Foes with superior Strength can attempt to break free, but they are likely to dismember themselves without superior Constitution as well.

[ ][CONTROL] Yoki Synchronization
In the first few nights after the surgery, you fought through the crippling agony and nausea to give whatever comfort you could to the other girls in your cell, even as the Yoma flesh tore through your body and slowly twisted you into half-breed abomination. You watched as, night after night, the conditions of the other girls continued to deteriorate, but you stubbornly refused to give up on them and tried everything you could think of to alleviate their pain and help them survive the process, even when it appeared like your own survival was in jeopardy. When none of the mundane methods worked, you made one final desperate gambit and discovered that, with enough concentration, you can actually manipulate the Yoki Energy of your comrades by synchronizing your own Yoki signature to theirs, which allowed you to soothe their pain and slow down dangerously aggressive transformation process enough that they managed to survive the traumatic ordeal.
-[ ][SYNCHRONIZATION] Synchronized Healing
You can synchronize your Yoki signature with that of another Warrior and help them regenerate from injuries that would have overwhelmed their own Constitution and Accelerated Regeneration. This ability requires your full concentration and is highly inefficient in terms of both time and Yoki Energy, which means it cannot be performed in combat or even close to danger due to the vulnerable state it places both you and your fellow Warrior.
-[ ][SYNCHRONIZATION] Yoki Camouflage
You can synchronize your Yoki signature with another signature that you can perceive clearly with your Yoki Perception in order to mask your own Yoki signature. This allows you to continue using your Yoki without alerting observers to the presence of an additional source of Yoki, but channeling more too much Yoki Energy compared to your target will reveal your presence. The disguise is not perfect and observers with high Yoki Perception might be able to notice a discrepancy.
-[ ][SYNCHRONIZATION] Yoki Disruption
You can synchronize your Yoki signature with that of a nearby target and gain rudimentary control over the flow of Yoki through their body. While your degree of control is extremely limited and easily overcome, unless your Yoki Control is far superior to that of the target, but you can surprise an unaware target by disrupting their Yoki Perception and Yoki Control. With enough time and concentration, you can craft simple hallucinations or redirect the flow of Yoki in the target's body.
-[ ][SYNCHRONIZATION](Write-In)
(Subject to GM Approval)

[ ][CONTROL] Power Manipulation
You first began to experiment with your own Yoki Energy shortly after your surgery in an attempt to better understand what manner of abomination you have become, but, instead of answers, all you found were more questions. You know that Yoki Energy is the what gives a Warrior her powers, but either none of the researchers know anything else about it beyond the obvious fact that it is generated by the flesh of Yoma or they are intentionally withholding information from you and your fellow Warriors regarding that the power you must all tap into in order to simply survive. Over the course of your training, you initially refused to channel your Yoki, but while your new inhuman abilities were generally sufficient compared to your fellow Trainees, the Trainers eventually began to pit you against more powerful opponents to force your hand. Your Strength, Dexterity and Swordsmanship are all mediocre compared to your more aggressively predisposed comrades, which has forced you to rely heavily on your superior Yoki control to more efficiently direct the flow of energy for your body.
-[ ][POWER] Yoki Burst
You can slowly energize your Yoki to a heightened state of volatility and contain it within your body for a short period of time before combat. You can expend this power to grant yourself an extreme burst of power far surpassing what channeling your normal Yoki Energy can accomplish. It takes time to energize your Yoki in this manner and you can only store a small amount of it over an extended period of time.
-[ ][POWER] Energy Leech
You have learned to manipulate the Yoki Energy of others and convert it into a wavelength that you can use to fuel your own Yoki abilities. Yoki Energy gained through this method does not bring you closer to your Limit, but it does result in a limited and temporary degree of mental contamination in regards to strong emotions, memories and urges. Targets with stronger Yoki Manipulation can resist your ability to a limited degree.
-[ ][POWER] Yoki Furnace
Your body generates Yoki Energy on an exponential level, far surpassing the limits all but the most powerful Number One Warriors of the Organization when you channel close to your Limit, but you can barely match the Yoki Energy output of a Number Forty Warrior when you only channel a small amount of your Yoki. Due to the power you held, your Limit is actually lower than that of most Warriors and you have a much higher risk of Awakening.

[x] Plan: I Got This

Picking between all the options was pretty difficult, though going with tentacles for control helped me to decided on Directed Response over Blood Tendrils.

Just a couple of small errors i noticed, may be more, but anyways... big update, and the characterization does admittedly make me more inclined towards the options that don't wind up with us feared even by our fellow Claymores. Partial Transformation is out, i think, and Viral Incubator is in 'yeah, no, not going there' territory...

Miasma is strong, of course, but given the implications of it being tested on other Claymores... well, even setting that aside, we'd have to rely on a pretty crude delivery system (aka, 'get injured, spew bones from injury') to apply it, hm?

Organic Artillery confirms that we just plain don't have the Perception for proper sniping, and Penetrator Bolt... we'd probably have to prepare it before entering combat to get reliable use out of it, preferably through sneak attacks but unlikely. Wings remain decent, but i honestly think an anti-armor attack would be more useful.

Corrosive Growth leads me to think 'yeesh, how did our rival survive long enough to develop a counter?' since we'd lack Directed Response. Yoki Leech... eh, out of curiosity, what happens if an Awakened Being runs out of energy, @rdc30 ? Is draining them dry a realistic win condition, or simply a method of weakening them? Or even possible at all, for that matter?

Crystallized Blood... my opinion of it's definitely improved since it's anti-armor, but we'd probably want to mix it with Miasma to create a proper delivery mechanism for that. Mix bits of bones into our crystalized blood, which we can burst into Miasma at the right opportunities.

I'm honestly not sure what i want to vote right now, so if someone has a compelling reason for taking one synergy above others...

Speaking of, is there any particular reason you chose Sensory Input, since it doesn't really help us corrode things, and Combat Tentacles, which is kinda useless as a delivery/anti-armor mechanism and carries a reputation penalty to boot? There's like, no synergy here. I guess Salve could have helped repair the reputation penalty somewhat, but Sensory Input...? We're not a Perception build, so what would we use that for?

I mainly chose Partial Transformation to retain our sense of self should we risk going Yoma, then Combat Tentacles as a replacement for Blood Tendrils, so I could also choose Directed Response to help prevent friendly fire. I then chose Sensory Input as I feel it could help us predict attacks, seeing where the Yoki is rushing, and target weak or vital spots.

Mmm, fair enough on Partial Transformation being risk-mitigation, but I think it's something we can afford to pick up later. Even better if we can develop it and keep it secret. Sensory Input... we don't have a good delivery mechanism for. Pumping blood into the tentacles so it sprays everywhere when an opponent destroys one is decent but still relies on us getting injured; Sensory Input won't prevent one-shot-kills or preemptively reveal traps or anything. Salve at least might make the difference between 'we were mortally wounded' and 'we almost died, but survived', and helps with the reputation penalty somewhat.

You don't need to get injured to use your bone abilities, since you just grow them out of your body.

They revert to their human form, but they'll most likely die from their injuries before that point.
