Who Are the Savages?

So on the human side we have three people with a dear wish to kill all elves and a lieutenant who want no blood shed fun!!!!!!!

I could easily make a new char to fit any of the stereotypes. But I'm playing like three already. Anyways we need more elves we have like five humans now?

I'll stick with the ones I got unless the need arises. But I do love psychopathic princesses. And gnolls are just cutey. <3

We got about 5 days or so for more Elves to join in. Otherwise just give me a cadre of faceless soldiers to order about and we'll be fine. Or if you want I can knock together some sort of list with basic personalities.

Soldier One: A newbie who is unskilled in combat and wishes to prove himself.

Soldier Two: Battle hardened veteran with a blood grudge against the Purefire family.

Soldier Three: More middling experience, has been a trainer of new recruits.

Soldier Four: Experiments on herself with drugs to do better in combat.

Soldier Five: Tries to disable magic with anti-magic technology. Very crafty and devious. Idolizes Raven and her commander.

Here's some soldiers for you.

Both of them is on the princess' entourage?

Basically ones that do more than alter your mind they can actually make you smarter, more quick to react, sharpen your focus. And anything else people feel like making up.

No I hadn't but I'm not sure why we would need to thread mark anything in here?

All the soldiers I posted are under Raven's direct command and your char's secondary command but will treat your char like their commander in battle situations munchkinomatic.

I meant elf soldiers not human. These seem to be more like human traits than Elven. Unless you are giving me these as play things for my Elf to slash to pieces then I am all game.

So I can use an lsd equivalent to use against my enemies as lsd alters what you see by what you feel so I can make them think we are terrifying demons! !!!!!!

Oops I forgot who I was talking to. Elf soldiers then:

Soldier One: A novice mage who has experience fighting with two daggers.

Soldier Two: Loyal to the princess above all else and an expert archer.

Soldier Three: Commands beasts to ride into battle.

Soldier Four: Doesn't want the war to end but will try anyways. Using a modified crossbow.

Soldier Five: Heavily scarred by battle and wants revenge against humans.

Yeah sorry I didn't see that Vagabond was asking for elf soldiers. I thought it was you.

Witchy Woman
Name: Margret Attlewood
Age: She was old when your grandmother was a child. She looks, physically, in her mid nineties.
Gender: Female
Class: Witch (Mind Magics, Herblore, Curses, Nature Magics, Knowing your mother as a child)
Appearance: Margret's actual height is debatable, given that she always seems to be the tallest person in the room, somehow always seeming to gain enough inches to look down on you like you're three inches high. Her skin is withered and drawn across her face, decades of wrinkles actuating her sharp frown. Her hair is steel grey and is kept in a low bun at the base of her skull. She often wears a tall and pointed black hat, but even without it her species is debatable, her exact origin lost to the fogs of time.

Backstory:
Margret professes to be the last of the old breed of Witches, and frankly nobody is willing to gain say her. It is known for sure that is at least older than the Mother of the current elf sovereign, being present to assist in her birth and looking old even then. She has a strong disdain for what she calls "the tomfoolery of the modern age", which seems to include guns, all other witches, and not instantly recognising her on sight. For the last several decades she has acted as a wandering healer and midwife, as well as laying out the dead when necessary, across a stream of small villages in both elven and human territories. She has an abnormally intelligent tabby cat which follows her around and is commonly attributed as being either her familiar, a demon she summoned once, or someone who annoyed her several decades ago and is now following her in the hope to be turned back. She also attracts the presence of crows like flies to vinegar (flies actually prefer vinegar to honey), which she is not happy about as they tend to shit everywhere. She also has two toads, which she has occasionally been seen consulting with.

Having heard of the conference, she's come to it in the hopes this damn fool war will finally be over. And also because she firmly believes that witches should have a say in all major political decisions if they want to, and as the last witch worthy of the name, who else is there to call.

Margret's ability in combat is about what you would expect from a nonagenarian healer, which is presumably one of the reasons she disdains it heavily.

I like Witches. SHE'LL SET HER TOADS ON YOU, SEE IF SHE DOESN'T.

Princess Caligula
Accepted. And a very interesting char concept I must say. Ariatia would be surprised she knew her mommy when she was a li'l elfling. Ha ha. :p

And one more char I may or may not use. Inspired by the Princess Caligula remarks: Ariatia's bastard sister who was disavowed by her family and hides in human lands.

Name: Leyrah.
Age: 29.
Class: Priestess of Pain (Psychic powers, shadow magics, minor healing and major harming spells).
Appearance: Leyrah has dark red hair that she has cut unevenly. She wears a half-up braided style where the rest of her hair is allowed to hang long with a single braid trailing down from the middle. She dresses in lowborn outfits that show her belly, back and shoulders. Sometimes she dyes her hair different colors. Leyrah wears heavy eye shadow, mascara and lipstick.
Background: Born of an affair Ariatia's father had with a human prostitute making her half-elven half-human. She was disavowed by Ariatia's family and cast onto the streets. Living as a street girl has darkened her outlook and scarred her mind. She took religious vows to a dark cult as a teenager and has trained by ritualistically harming herself to achieve greater levels of magical prowess.

Leyrah wishes to kill Ariatia and her family for casting her out and install her own cabinet with herself as Queen of the Elves. Then she wishes to ally with the humans and steal their technology. Leyrah is not opposed to lying or killing to get what she wants and views other people as pawns in her Chess game. Her weapon is a long, curved ritualistic short sword impractical for actual swordplay and serves to channel her dark powers.

She has consorted with succubi to gain forbidden secrets. She has multiple street contacts she can call upon for favors. The woman has inherited some of the elves' longevity so looks younger than she actually is despite being a fully grown adult.

Name: Heinrich Taros
Age: 82
Gender: Male
Class: Necromancer (Death magic, raising undead, etc)

Appearance:

Backstory: Death is an obstacle.

The potential of man is great and untapped and, in time, mankind will be great. Time, of course, is the limiting factor. Humans are great, yes, but woefully short-lived. Even the greatest of men will fail under the stress of age and the inevitability of death. But is death truly inevitable?

Heinrich's life began in a particularly normal fashion, being born to the mayor of a human frontier town. He was a fairly normal child, though born without any particular love or interest in anything. However, this would all change. As a teenager, Heinrich found an ancient tome out in the wilderness while hunting and, on a whim, picked it up and began reading. He became fascinated with the text within, which spoke of magic and death. He hid the book and studied it for a year, then murdered everybody in his village and resurrected them as undead. With these undead, he retreated into the wilderness, where he has spent decades experimenting and perfecting his art. It is during this time that developed his personal goal, to defeat death.

Normally, he would not venture from his abode in the wilderness. However, recent events have caught his interest, and he can feel his mortality catching up. The elves are said to have great stores of magical knowledge, vast libraries filled with ancient tomes. He will have these books. He must. Heinrich seeks access to these books one way or another. If the animosity between the races is healed, then he may travel to elven lands freely. If there is no peace, then he will simply see that humanity conquers the elven lands that take them by force. One way or another, he will defeat death.

Accepted. I see this char as a bit of a wild card. Who knows what alliances he'll make? Actually I kind of wanna have him meet Ariatia. She'd be totes creepy feels out and totally fascinated by death magic being a long-lived spoiled princess. I picture elves as able to age into their hundreds while humans typically only make it to fifty or sixty at oldest. Except witches LOL.

He'll make and break alliances with anyone, as long as it's convenient. He's also paranoid and doesn't really trust anyone but himself.

Heinrich would see her as a convenient way to steal elven knowledge.

What can I say? Death magic is good for life expectancy. All those people he killed had to be good for something, after all.

Leyrah or Raven might be better matches for him then. Leyrah would give up elven secrets willingly... for a price.
