Whatever He Choose (No SV, You are Jaime Lannister)

[X] No

[X] Lord Jon Arryn (DC: 50): Jon Arryn is an old War buddy of Father, in his words, he is a good man who is old, strong, and always training, and learning, despite his statesmanship. He also has two other squires. Eddard Stark, and young Robert Baratheon. But he might not accept, because he already has two squires.

[x] Yes

[x] Lord Garth Greenfield: Garth Greenfield is perhaps the most well-traveled Tournament knight in the Westerlands, viewing Greenfield more as a vacation home than as a seat of his house, and leaving much of the governing to his advisors. He has been desperate for a squire since he knighted him, and has been looking for one who can handle his traveling regiment. You will be alone, with only him.

Hm, I've been thinking. Did Ned or Robert ever travel around during their time at the vale? Or did they stay in the vale? Because I'd like Jaime to travel and see the land if possible. I think it would do him good to see more of the world, and the people in it. Squiring with Jon would be cool too though, but idk if they traveled outside the vale that much.

Idk maybe I just like the idea of traveling across Westeros with a traveling knight helping people and participating in small tourneys along the way. A bit too much.

They did travel across the vale and Bobby b did get into some shinanigans. But they did not go to many tourneys.

[X]The North: You want to fight in the Northen Melees, in a land without the seven… or rather, without the six that they handle… the Stranger was the only one here.
-[X]Lord Joer Mormont (DC: 40): Lord Jeor is one of the most battle-hardened to the man… and Bear Island suffers raids from wildings, pirates… and more.

I was hoping for beyond the vale honestly, more spread out across the entire continent. Jaime can see lands all across the continent, maybe gain some perspective on lives less fortunate than his own. Also gives ton of opportunity to not just gain some recognition but just do some good for people not isolated in one kingdom. Also hoping to encounter the kingswood brotherhood. Imagine the reaction if we genuinely took one of prominence down.

Well here is the thing my friend.

You have all chosen for things to change.

And by god will they change.

So while they may not travel a lot... when they do, expect shit to get real, and shit to begin to change.

As for the Kingswood brotherhood. They be interesting.

You really don't want to see the rolls that will be coming your way.

If they roll well. Cause they can shake the fuck out of everything if they get good enough.

Okay, I just wonder how much time we'll get with Ned and Robert. I know Robert starts splitting his time between Storms End and the Vale within two years. The same for Ned. Eh, while Ned, Robert, and Jon are there, I don't know if its worth remaining in the vale for most of the time. Especially since they will not be around as much soon. I mean won't we see them anyway at some point? Harrenhal is pretty much where everyone was converged in one area and I don't think that would change. Maybe.

Plus I'm begging and praying for a smiling knight 1v1.

All I will say is that things will be very interesting, and depending on how Tywin sees our progression, he may leave us to our own devices... or try to take us away.

If you don't start training (which will begin soon, I promise...) He's one of the few S Rank fighters in Westeros currently.

You will be fucked.

    [X]The Riverlands: Lord Tully has many knights willing to squire you, and it would make allies in the East.
    -[X]The Blackfish Tully (DC: 60): The Blackfish is trying his best to try and make things better for his family, and despite being unmarried, he is training many squires, including one Peytr Balish.

The Roll for Jon Arryn:
D100 => 61

Well Everyone, we're going to the Vale. Let's hope it dosen't fuck everything up.

Also, the Rumor mill has begun.

Well, not entirely sure what we are going to do at the Vale. As far as I know Ned and Roberts time there is pretty uneventful all things considered. Robert does Robert things. Seriously hoping the dice make something happen in the Vale. Otherwise, we just train I guess.

The First Rumor Mill
The First Rumor Mill:

The Lannister Family:
Tywin:D100 => 98

You were the hand of the King, the great man on the throne that made the many decisions that need to be made, for all your good friendship and trust with Aerys was, he was not the stablest of kings, nor was he one that would be the best of them, not without help.

You were that help, and you managed to do everything you could to secure your family's future. Jaime, foolish as he was, realized that without the possibility of squireing with Rhaegar, he decided to make friends with the Lord of the Stormlands, Robert, and the second son… Eddard.

You knew Rickard well enough to know he had southern Ambitions, in fact, you counted on it. The North for far too long had been focused on the North, and it would be something to see it's weight be used. But what concerned you was what his move was?

Rickard, crafty as he was, was never one to make moves without believing without a shadow of a doubt that he won.

And you did not know exactly what was going to happen. But you had hedged your bets.

And Jaime… was that bet you had left.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Cersei:D100 => 31

The Prophecy was supposed to be working. Jaime was supposed to be yours… he was supposed to be. You were the queen! Yet now…

There was nothing. You couldn't understand, the prophecy was given, it had come true. Hells… you had seen it through.

You needed this… You wanted what was coming… and you needed to be queen!
------------------------------------------------------

KevanD100 => 95

Kevan did as he was told. Kept things safe.

And practically, that meant that the West, was safe.

For now.
----------------------------------

Gerion:D100 => 20

As for Young Gerion. He decided to be fruitful and travel across the East, spending money and making a name as a sellsword, fighter, sailor, lover, and anything to get out of Tywin's Hair.

He is not succeeding at anything, but spending money.
-------------------------------------

Tyrion:D100 => 82

And Tyrion is a genius boy, who does not know his true potential.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Westerlands:D100 => 97

Meanwhile, the Westerlands are peaceful… prosperous, and without a doubt, the second most powerful institution in the Kingdom, behind the Iron Throne itself.
----------------------------------------------

The Reach:D100 => 74

Mace Tyrell puffed and threw the wine away as the bitterness of the smoke made him cough. "I told you, mother, that such a thing was not a good thing to do. We are in a time of peace, and I would rather see investments done elsewhere, like personal-"

"No. you must remember that there are things that need to be done. Swords to be prepared. The Reach is the Kingmaker, and we mus be prepared for anything."

"You're talking about a war that will never come."

But his mother only leaned in. "It is never too early to prepare for a war where we can profit."
------------------------------------------------

The Iron Islands:D100 => 15

The Ironborn have revolted against Quillon Greyjoy, and they will soon fall upon Pyke. But the old Greyjoy is ready, with all his loyal men. This would be easy.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Stormlands:D100 => 80

As the Stormlands are under a regency, nothing drastic changes.

Bobby B:D100 => 95

Robert looked to his other ward, Ned, and smiled. "You hear the news ned?!" He shouted with a punch. "We're getting another friend to join us?"

"A Grafton?" Ned said glumly.

"No, you snow hare… It's a Lannister. Jaime." He said.

"How do you know, you read it?" Ned asked.

"Lord Arryn told me." He said.

"And, what makes you so excited about it?"

"He challenged Bonifar Hasty to a duel… even though he lost, that takes bravery and balls."

"You say that name like it's important to me?" Ned replied.

"He was one of the best tourney knights, till he just… stopped. No one knows why, but now he just serves as a wandering master at Arms. But some say he is gathering swords to fight something evil."

"Can't take those rumors to heart." Ned said.

"Still, he fought him… I think Jaime and you might get along. We might all become Brothers."
--------------------------------------------------------------
Stannis the Mannis:D100 => 84
Renly:D100 => 43

There is little the two do, besides learning and enjoying each other.

In fact, Renly called Stannis father… something that he did not know how to properly say.

Save for bitter words. "I'm not our father Renly, Father is dead."

"But you're here… right?"

He didn't know how to answer.
----------------------------------------------------

Dorne:D100 => 72

Dorne is at peace. And few can say otherwise.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

The North:D100 => 47
Rickard Stark:D100 => 36

Meanwhile in the North, Rickard learns of Jaime going to the Vale, and looks at his map.

"So Tywin has ambitions too… perhaps I can make use of that."
----------------------------------------------------------

The Riverlands:D100 => 45

And in the Riverlands, the Tully's play a dangerous game, trying to keep thier vassels in line, as well as…

Well Worry for their own future.
-----------------------------

The Crownlands:D100 => 24

The King:D100 => 5

Areys looked to his small council, and he swore. "That boy… is traveling to the Vale? He moves his son around to gather more allies and friends for… for what, treason!"

"Those bandits must be working for him, must be! But i cannot act now. I want spies on Tywin every moment he is in the city… Every moment!"
----------------------------------------------------

The Kingsguard:D100 => 3

A Brother othe Kingsguard died…

Another must replace him.
-----------------------------------------------

The Kingswood Brotherhood:D100 => 97

The Oath had been sworn between them. And they would do one thing.

They would get back what was theirs. Get back all that was stolen from them… and above all else… get their revenge on the Prince whom they thought could help them.

AN: Enjoy.

I am definitely going to change how I do this next time.

I have a question, what is the current date in the story? I assumed 276, since Jaime is 10. But Stannis said his father is already dead and I thought he died when Robert was 16 in 278. Am I jumbling up events?

Timeskip. I forgot to say it was a timeskip as Jaime was 12 when he became a squire
