Honestly, for the personality at least, I can't get Yoh from Shaman King out of my head.

Appearance wise, if we're going to be a Guandao we should be tall and strong like the iconic Guan Yu.

I'm not as clear on the Affinity/Resistance, but Power tempered by Knowledge seems like a good base to work from?

So we picked aisian weapon so that's just keeping on a theme. I like the combo of hyperactivity and order since they clash. Resistance to fear would be nice

So, every person on the Soul Eater world has at least a little Madness in their souls. However, everyone tends to have an affinity or resistance to certain types.

For example, Death the Kid is the son of Lord Death, who is the conduit and progenitor of the Madness of Order. With Kid's anal-retentive nature and obsessive-compulsive obsession with symmetry, he has an affinity for the Madness of Order.

Black Star, as he strives to be the greatest, strongest, and most famous assassin in the world, has an affinity for the Madness of Power.

Due to their affinities for these types of Madness, they are more susceptible to those types of Madness than other types of Madness, but can utilize them offensively via Madness Takehold/Madness Release.

Now, some people have the opposite. Resistance, or even outright immunity, to low-to-moderate levels of certain types of Madness. This means they can tolerate that type of Madness in certain amounts, but even then, a lot of it will still cause them to go insane.

The six types of Madness and what they signify are:
* Madness of Power: This type of Madness causes the victim to insanely crave power of any kind, be it worldwide renown, wealth, or strength, and be willing to do anything to attain it.
* Madness of Knowledge: Curiosity at its worst, this type of Madness causes the victim to insanely crave knowledge. At its peak, it can cause them to feel they have achieved enlightenment, causing them to not be able to think straight, or stop thinking all together.
* Madness of Anger: This type of Madness causes the victim to feel fury, to the point they can go into a berserker-like rage.
* Madness of Fear: This type of Madness causes the victim to react in panic, hysteria, and terror. This causes a fight or flight response, as well as a hatred for that which they fear.
* Madness or Order: This type of Madness causes the victim to obsess over what they perceive as organization and peace. At its peak, it is so strong that it eclipses all human emotions and leaves only a mechanical cycle of only life and death.
* Madness of Boobs: This madness type influences an individual into having a much larger preference for female breasts and makes those under its influence fascinated with them enough to have the urge to repeatedly fondle, grab, or think of them often. However, it also can signify obsessive nurturing instincts and detrimental overprotectiveness.

Boobs? You sure you're looking at the votes? Bruh, I've got four votes for Thin, two votes for Curvaceous, one vote for Chubby, and thirteen, fuck'n thirteen votes for Toned. I'm not seeing so much boob worship here as I am seein' muscle worship. Which sucks for me, because I hate muscles. I only put that option there for a full variety of body types. #SadTimes :(

Eh the weakness to boobs could have come from her wanting them because she has none. Don't make her overmuscled just athletic like runer if you don't want take it so far (I think none here want it taken so far)

Eh, breast envy is super lame. If the vote actually is that, I'll change mine right now. I thought it was what was described in #80 and perhaps sharing with Crona's use of it alluding to wanting a mother-figure. Knowledge is ahead of it by twice the votes anyway.

No, no, no. You have no worries there. As a proud flattie myself, I absolutely cannot stand breast envy of the A-cup angst variety. In fact, I've been known to drop some anime series purely because they abuse the hell out of it for humor, like Baka & Test, or Zero no Tsukaima. Expect any flatties who appear in this fic to have petite pride, though I am not above some mild D-cup distress (and even then, big bust pride is more common).

In fact, I was going to save this for an in-universe explanation, but... Fuck it, here, just for added reassurance. My interpretation/headcanon for how the Madness of Boobs has affected the Soul Eater world over twenty years (don't click if you'd rather hear about this in-story):

This madness type influences an individual into having a much larger preference for female breasts and makes those under its influence fascinated with them enough to have the urge to repeatedly fondle, grab, or think of them often. According to the current Lord Death, this madness came into being due to the fact that Crona seeks breasts, the symbol of motherhood. This is because of the fact Crona never received any motherly love from Medusa Gorgon. Due to the events twenty years ago, this Madness has been subtly effecting the entire world, albeit not in a dangerous way. Rather, people of both sexes and any sexuality have just shown a far greater preference for breasts over, say, rears or legs, either sexually attracted to them or platonically preferring their aesthetic beauty. Women have also notably been showing greater pride in their busts, to the point it is not uncommon for them to have a preference for low-cut tops or be okay with consensual skinship with friends. Topfreedom has been taken seriously by lawmakers and become completely legal in Nevada and much of the United States. Size preferences, notably, have become more evened out over the past twenty years. Whether flat or buxom, people like them, and women are proud of them. Exceptions, of course, exist, theorized to be a result of a natural resistance to low-level Madness. People born after the second defeat of Asura twenty years ago seem especially susceptible to this Madness.

Though of course, the Madness of Boobs also can cause nurturing and protective instincts of the dangerously obsessive variety, mostly when exposed to it in large doses.
