Repair then sell, except for the panther that we repair and then hold in reserve or straight up give to @RangerKarl. A dispossessed mechwarrior is a useless mechwarrior and we could do with bringing charlie lance back up to full strength.
Y'know, it (belatedly) strikes me that anyone giving that vote should edit out the part that gives RangerKarl a notification. Otherwise they might be annoyed with us when they next log on and find like twenty notifications all for the same vote.

We can sell the mechs later if we really need the cash, but spare mechs are more valuable than spare c-bills.
As far as crippled enemy mechs go, I'm pretty sure (unless you have MekHQ configured otherwise), it doesn't give any financial advantage to replace destroyed parts before selling them (in fact, I believe you lose money). I would recommend either selling them (after repairing the stuff you can repair without using spare parts) or keeping them around. Except for the Panther, we need a replacement mech for the dispossessed mechwarrior.
The salvage, I'd strip off armor and weapons, then sell the chassis.

That is, unless charlie lance is truly going to become the cadre lance.

Deciding that we need those C-Bills, we sell the Vedette for 158K.
We'll also be scrapping the Wasp, but I've put that on the backburner for now as rearming and repairing our forces is way more important. I mean…
Everything in yellow needs some degree of time in the mech bay, so yeah; we should sort that out. Most of the items on the repair bill we're able to get done in the hours after the battle, but several things will take until tomorrow to be completed at the earliest.
Furthermore, in order to complete the repairs on the equipment we took as salvage, we have to purchase some replacement parts. Luckily, none of the mechs we recovered were particularly rare, so the costs are pretty manageable at only 11k C-bills. Also, we'll avoid purchasing a replacement left leg for the crippled Wasp as the first has a good left leg and we'll be able to recover it easily enough.
Unfortunately, Amazon Prime —the world owned entirely by the Amazon corporation— was destroyed during the 1st Succession War, so we don't get same-day delivery.
In the meantime, we officially recruit our one-time enemy into our mercenary company using section 13 subsection F of our contract. Let's hope that this doesn't backfire in any way!
In terms of skills, Joanna is actually a really solid MechWarrior. She's tied first with Iof in terms of piloting skills, and is roughly middle of the road in terms of gunnery. Unlike new hires, Joanna won't be the introduction of someone from the waiting list because I wrote a thousand words for her already, damn it!
Once our various mechs are repaired, I'll have Joanna put into the Locust and Karl into the Panther. Joanna gets the Locust as its short-ranged weapons and high-speed gel well with her okay shooting and great piloting scores, while Karl gets the Panther as we need a half-decent sniper and the Panther can be a genuinely effective mech thanks to its PPC.
With the repair orders given, our injured MechWarriors in the infirmary, and a conspiracy discovered, we proceed with caution.
New Orders:
The orders of our Lances are essentially the same, however I've moved Alpha lance onto a tough training regime as Corn and Ostrich couldn't hit the broadside of a mech bay.
September 16th:
To the shock of no one, the heavy losses the Dracs sustained during their attempt to push us off-world have left them unable (or simply unwilling) to attempt another attack anytime soon. Normally, this would be something of a cause for celebration as it'd give our MechWarriors some time to rest and recuperate. However, given the implications of what Joanna told us regarding a conspiracy to smuggle the 9th Benjamin onto David, it's likely that the Dracs will be able to reinforce sooner rather than later, so we have to snatch the initiative away from the Snakes.
To that end, Bravo Lance engages in a series of scouting operations in the region where the Dracs were last seen retreating through. After multiple unconfirmed sensor readings and unsubstantiated rumours from the locals, Bravo were finally able to narrow down the search area to a 10 km squared zone of scrubland located —somewhere unsurprisingly— in the Sarrisa region near Polis. Frankly, it makes sense to find them there. It's where you first encountered the 9th, the mineral-rich earth disrupts sensors, the area is sparsely populated so dropships can come in without the risk of someone spotting them, and abandoned towns litter the landscape and offer shelter from both the elements and satellites.
While we don't know the exact extent of the Combine's interest in the region —whether its just a forward operating base, or if its their primary zone of operation— we do know that the fighting will be fierce. That said, With the initiative now firmly on our side, we have the luxury of knowing exactly when and where the strike will occur. Granting ourselves six days in order for our MechWarriors to finish convalescing and our MekTechs to finish their work, we now have to decide which forces (if any) will assist Bravo Lance in the operation to forcibly investigate the region —and hopefully clean out the nest of vipers that has infested David
September 17th:
We finish all possible repairs on the recovered spider and sell it for a healthy sum of $1.1 million C-Bills.
We also order a bunch of actuators and other assorted parts for what will be Joanna's Locust.
September 18th:
We finish repairs on both the Wasp and the Pegasus hovertank, selling them for 700k and 300k C-bills, respectively.
September 19th:
Repairs are completed on the Panther. Ranger Karl is rotated back into Charlie Lance.
September 21st:
Our final recovered mech, Joanna's shiny new Locust, is finally ready to go. As Bravo lance is doing pretty poorly in terms of mobility, we've assigned her there in order to round out their capabilities.
September 22nd:
The Dawn of Battle.
Operation Spectral Serpent:
Due to being the lance that confirmed the Combine's presence there, Bravo lance has the honour of leading our force recon into the Sarissa Region of the Geronomis continent. Which lance —if any— should assist them in this activity?
Note: Sophia and FacelessGoon are still injured, but both insist that their injuries are minor and that they can still fight effectively.

Personnel Market:
As there's no reason not too, I may as well do a vote on this, too. Is there anyone here you'd like me to hire? AFAIK, there's no cost to hiring people, but moving equipment between systems costs money and that can rapidly add up (plus, people can retire and want payouts when they do).
Just throwing it out there that the destruction of Amazon prime was the one good thing the nobles did during their squabble for the throne of the Star League.
Aerospace fighters move really quickly, so it's legit often better to just have you fly from one edge of the board to the other and bring you back next turn than to try and manoeuvre you into position.
[X] Alpha lance
While I'd love another scrap, alpha lance has the beacoup firepower and better warriors. I think Charlie needs a little more careful tutelage before we deploy them by choice.
I also think we need not hire anyone. We need a little time to properly bring the company together as an effective unit before adding any rogue elements. I also think we have a solid set of mechs, especially with the new panther and the honourable prisoner, and would push for conventional assets before more big stompys. Sadly the only thing turning up on the personal market is the greenest of the green infantry unit and honestly screw that. I'd rather a platcom who knows their damn job.
Please for the love of god let me use the Atlas in something that isn't a cramped urban nightmare and instead gives me clear sight lines so I can kill something other than a flipping Locust.
[X] Alpha Lance
I won´t say no to some heavy guns covered with actual armor -a Hunchback has the former but not much of the latter for prolonged engagements.
Wait - a thought occurs. Won't bringing the Assault Mechs make the opponent force ramp up, like it did when we brought the Hunchback instead of a Light? In which case, we might be making the mission harder for the Mediums and Lights to survive, simply because the enemy tonnage will ramp up ridiculously. It might be better to leave Beta Lance to deal with them on their own.
