I would ask everyone to remember that the Defias interpretation of events is not the only one and the Defias have been pillaging Westfall for years.
Oh I agree, but Stormwind still treated them very poorly however and I will not aid them unless they make an honest attempt to recouncil.

I would also ask everyone to remember that humans do operate on medieval norms which makes regicide among the worst things anyone can do. Which is why reconciliation has been impossible up to now.

except that was the action of one individual of the crowd and it was an accident and yet Varian treats them all even worse.... plus it never would have happened if not for the initial betrayal.

That's applying modern logic to it. Medieval logic is: the craftsmen rioted and killed the Queen.

Except that's applying medieval human logic to it. Dwarves might see it a tad differently, what with the king and nobility straight up breaking their word. Given the emphasis on craftsmanship and honor the dwarves might not approve of that either.

If only there was a battle proven leader with experience fighting the Scourge who could provide leadership for the Alliance Expedition.

EXACTLY! like one that was a member of the Alliance and powerful and proven to be a leader and all that! while not being an undead murdering traitor! If only!

.... we both have that title lol.... I am the High Thane of the Bronzebeard you are the High Thane of the WIldhammer.... its just the Dwarven way of saying king lol. (or viking way IRL)
I know I know just starting conversation Hahahha, lots of thigns you learn in vinlands saga

but on a more serious note we are allowed to make OC's right cuz im running out of Wildhamemr NPC's?

@san
Uhh...he wasn't stormwind. Garithros came from northern Loarderon.

Also there are plenty of people (even if u have to make up an OC for some) that could take over.

@Ceslas

Whilst true; remember that things are timey whimey here; you have female soldiers, more broader respect for merchants/trade, for learning. Further, and i cannot stress this enough, the faith of the light is not christinanity. At all.

There are a number of other social mores that are clearly different here as compared to otl medieval times.

Not, that i disagree about the defias thing I just have to also say its a fantasy with shown differences.

nah i foudn the wild hammer npc quest giver list its cool now
Cool.

I do have a question tho; not just to you but in general; why is everyone acting like'd I've stolen their veterans or something >.<. Most of the non-Lordaeron or Dalaran forces under my command were adventurers/people that joined us en-route or alliance military in general. They're free to leave, and Jaina has canonically shown a willingness to teleport people (ala the missing diplomat quest in game) and its noted in the wiki she has opened portals for travellers who ask before.

Jaina; has sort of an issue/kind of a blindspot in that a lot of her soldiers are...very loyal to her given that she led many of them through the Apocalypse. I don't think she fully grasps it either. Or maybe doesn't want to.

As Ceslas put it when talking about -Kul Tiran- soldiers/sailors with her, only 'a couple/few of rowboats' worth of them will go home unless I order people to leave; and thats from the nation of people who think Jaina commited some form of familial murder.

Oh I just figured since Wildhammer culture dictates that any Wildhammer dwarf regardless of any clan(I mean Firebeard, Doyle, and etc.) should show up in a fight concerning Wildhammer, less they feel like their a coward(since this is seen as cowardice to them) which no self respectin Wildhammer would want to be called. And since we are technically going into wartime I guessed welp better call the family.

Edit:I just realized each Wildhammer Troop and Gryphon Squads are composed of Patriarch/Matriarch, children and then relatives

@Alias

I will admit I lold as a historian when I read your msg to the Night Elves.

Also; essentially its a commitment issue now that I'm sticking to alliance stuff. Theramore will still patrol heavily/Anti Piracy and if your colonies are getting attacked unjustly it will still respond it just cannot promise full time commitment.

@Hoshu

Understandable. Honestly I haven't got that many Wildhammers here anyway lol. Those who are here will hear your message but its not a massive number unlike some parts of my force in terms of background.

Cool. I admit I've only partially scouted my char list so far.
He got executed in Theramore because him and his Gryphons were protecting the gate and his air force would be a threat. He is also Shaman, and I may have taken a small but powerful chunk of your air force considering every Wildhammer dwarf has a Gryphon either in battle or at home.
