Gonna do a little analysis before I forget, starting from the bottom of posts.
TMR has a post about Nani being highest in lynch votes and decides to vote up CT to make it a minor pressure wagon rather than just a memevote. Completely reasonable, and is standard TMR. So no real hint of scum tmr, though it would indeed be rather weird to have anything sus occur in literally two posts. Definitely tendency towards a town vibe tho.
Azrael throws a 'random' vote at Astaroh, since it's early day it's basically just saying they are present, so neither scummy nor town to do. Could just as easily be scum as town (contrast to TMR looking at least Net Town). Also true to character.
CT memevotes Astaroh based off of avatar's thumbnail, so meaningless. His other post is quite beefy for a day 1, says how he feels about what others have said, and asks questions to clarify. As usual for CT they genuinely develop some sort of information gathering process that will probably be important throughout the day. However, CT does this when scum too and I don't recall them doing it badly so not really sure. Tendency towards town vibe, as expected.

No, that's not always the case. Activity isn't a silver bullet; if you aren't satisfied with someone's contribution, it's perfectly legitimate to pressure them while active.

Going to apologize for my inactivity now since I have been reading and catching up but hadn't made a response up to now since I kept getting pulled away near the end... lets see here.
For much of the same reason as pawn lelouch. I feel QT makes a great town player and just as good of a scum player. Even if information can be obtained from that pressure then that is a positive gain for town. And I'm not saying their ability to provide this information is reason for a true lynch, but rather pressure so that info can come forth. While it still is early in the game our day one is mostly over and we don't really have a good push towards anyone. TBH you were fourth on my list originally but you've already provided what I expected so that has dropped down a lot...honestly at the moment...I'm looking more at atk50, who hasn't said anything in a while, and at TMR, for similar. I'd say the same about TheMaster but Terra has already posted about that. I'm not 100% certain I want to go off pawn at this time though, give me a few hours and I can make a more concrete choice to pursue.

Definitely sympathize: I'm kinda leaning towards pawn being town at this point, but I'm leaning that way towards honestly everyone at this point and obviously I have to be wrong about some of them.
I was considering swapping to comiturtle, but the only reason I would be doing that is because pawn's categorically refused to give anything of substance on day 1 and leaving would hurt my precommitment -> Pressure game with no real backup., do I won't be doing that unless further evidence emerges or we need to swap to reach hammer.

Eh, while I've always been like this I'm pushing it slightly more than usual. The idea that the player is good so they need to be pressured since they could be good scum or give out information makes no sense to me personally. If they are a good player who just so happens to be scum they aren't going to be tripped up by day 1 pushing since they understand how flighty people are this early.
And giving out priveleged information early on, is frowned upon since it either lets scum act publicly on information they already have or gives them access to more information, allowing them to figure out the setup quicker since they have more of the pieces. Ergo, giving out important information Day 1 as non scum is a no go and pushing good scum is generally a waste of time this early.
Worse players aren't able to talk or argue their way out of pressure easily though. This means that they either are more likely to mess up and reveal or say something that shouldn't be known to most or appear scummy, both of which would attract more attention to them and keep the votes on them. So functionally the worse players are both easier to trip up and push for scum tells, and likely can be gone through faster so that more can be interrogated if people don't give off a bad impression. And while I don't like information being given out Day 1 they are also far easier to pry information out of if people are looking for that.
So yeah, I don't understand QT's view on this and I am standing my ground on this even if it earns me votes.
