As Far as I know only Alpha was created and they are definitely a hero, though admittedly a bad one. A lot of power a lack of responsibility. Though due to the power of them Alpha needed to be depowered when Fighting Terminus as such he was weakened.

I remember now. Alpha was supposed to be a mirror of Peter - someone who was accepted by his friends, but wasn't responsible enough. He caused lot of damage, and Peter couldn't trust him with the power - so, bye, bye.

Yes, it's one of the suckier Spider-Man stories out there. Though the idea had a lot of potential.

A free source of energy is gamechanging, though. We're a broke highschool student right now -- that removes a lot of limiters for us.
Intelligence is something more useful long term, but getting that early boost is great, and free energy is a great insurance for whenever we run out of resources, which is a risk that *will* happen one time or another.

May I point you to the Peter Particle? Qm Confirmed that's not what that burning spider does, and it is a free source of energy that only strengthens with the expansion of the universe. Peter Parker in Universe Discovers it, and if we're smarter then Him in Canon we'll definitely be capable of discovering it as well.

Well it's a lot of speculation however when you speculate about a certain thing. Qm tends to reveal things. For instance that The Burning spider isn't related to the peter particle.
The Peter Paricle is effectively the Energy powering the Expansion of the Universe Since the Universe is expanding more and more rapidly the peter particle becomes stronger and stronger with time.
