"We are born of the blood..." Let's Play Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Part 10 is up:

Jeanette: Here, take this knife and go slash some paintings!
Me : *Immediately pawns the knife for cash*

I ARE VERY SMART VAMPIRE.

Part 14 is up:

Video quality ought to be a little better going forward, as I've upscaled the videos to 1440p, which forces YouTube to use the superior VP9 codec. It may take a few hours after this video has been published for the better quality version to appear, however.

Part 18 is up:

In this episode, I have finally conquered the matter of my noisy keyboard! What kind of audio wizardry did I employ to quell this noisome bother? Answer: the very high-tech solution of placing a heavy towel over the keyboard. Makes finding the right key a bit awkward when you have to take your fingers off the WASD keys, but it works nonetheless.

Part 19 is up. In this episode I discuss, in my usual disjointed, inchoate manner, how I feel about the treatment of the mentally ill in this game and whether or not it is insensitive:

Episode 23 is up, and boy is the game in a glitchy mood today! Even VV's boobs are starting to glitch out!

Episode 24 is up!

We invade peep show and start killing people with a sledgehammer. We also talk down an extremely pissed-off gargoyle. Just another day in the World of Darkness.

Part 27 is up! After this will be in uncharted territory (at least as far as this LP is concerned).

If you have the Obfuscate ability (Nosferatu and Malkavians) then this section is a breeze. If not, you'll have to wait until the security cameras are looking away, and then run underneath them. As for the guards, the Command discipline will put them into a trance for about ten second or so, allowing us to slip by.

About this part, i want to mention that it's possible to destroy the cameras without alerting guards if you have a attack that is 'silent' and do it when they're far enough.

The crossbow is a good choice, even if actually targeting a camera and not be detected is often more trouble than it's worth unless you run right underneath them and there aren't two cameras.

The game is almost more than the sum of its gameplay parts like Deus Ex, but falls short a bit. Still, if you've replayed it over ten times, you find your amusements.

Now we are at Part 28, and truly uncharted territory, since the Unofficial Patch has added some new stuff since I last played this game:

Episode is up! What a milestone! In this episode we finally reach Chinatown and speak with the leader of of Kuei-jin. Unfortunately, we also find...ANIME!!! :anger: :rage: :mob:

Episode 32 is up! "Be careful what you wish for," I must say. I declared anime to be my nemesis, and Mr. Hengeyokai decided he'd much rather tear up Yukie than fight me. Perhaps he disliked anime as much as I do? Perhaps we might have been friends had things turned out differently?

Part 33 is up!

I purchased a new microphone stand, which should allow me to place the mic a bit closer, so the sound quality ought to be a bit better from now on.
