Crane wore grey, segmented armor there were spikes coming out of the right gauntlets, the left greave, the shoulders and back of the armor. The helmet has short spikes on the ridge and one yellow and one red eye-lens. Its most striking feature is the red Centipede that starts as the red right greave and Then goes from behind the waist, diagonally over the chest, over the shoulders before the red armor covered the whole left arm, the red gauntlet having grey eyes above the hand, causing it to look more like a Centipede.

Those few moments felt like agony, he could feel molten metal covering him and surging through his veins. The power suddenly surging through his body was nothing compared to the pain it caused him, and from the sounds of it he wasn't the only one feeling it. Had that freaky bug known it would hurt the both of them to such an extent? Whatever it was after it had to be desperate then because this was insane! If it was willing to do this to the both of them then Crane didn't want to know what it would do if he continued refusing it.

"...so where are the targets then?" He asked, mind still mildly fuzzy from the pain that had just about fried every nerve in his body, or at least it felt like that. Looking over the weird armor or whatever it was on his body Crane suppressed a shiver at how menacing it looked before he got back to his feet. Gritting his teeth he forced himself to get moving, as wherever they were now going getting out of the library was likely the smartest decision.

Julie tensely started to speak, only for her words to devolve into nervous rambling.

Julie shot off like a bullet into the air, dodging the tonque With ease.
"Silly! You can control flight and stingers on your own!!"
Ace yelled.
As She nimbly dodged the beast, She could Hear the roar of engines, a screech and a thud.
Each from a differant source.
A Blue, pimped out bike With a Cyan and Orange crab person. They also had a passenger, a red and white bee person.
Near was a golden Armored Stagbeetle person...on a bicycle.
Lastly, out of sight for the mounted warrior but visible for the airport Julie, was a green With red grasshopper person.
CaneWire a spotted the newcomers...and charged the golden Cyclist.

Sento ran towards the screaming, but saw He was not the only onces.
Near, ran a green scorpion man and a grey dude With a demonic Centipede around his torso and on one leg and one arm.
"Eyy, Slapioen and DuizendDorn, how how are you guys?"

Evangeline revved the bike. She'd ridden motorcycles before, of course - quite a lot, in fact, back when. So she pushed the engine and held the brakes hard while she waited.

The light changed.

All she needed to do was let the brakes loose. The bike's rear tire screamed as the surge of power and the added weight behind its rider hurled it into a screeching wheelie, barely held to the ground by the mass of the bike itself and the incredible traction of its tires.

This was a ride and a half.

Evangeline grinned herself silly beneath the helmet. She eased off the throttle a little, just enough to drop the front wheel back onto the road, and began to weave through traffic.

"This woman should not drive! This woman definitely should not drive!" He thought as he clung to the bike to keep from falling. This woman did not know how many idiots had been hurt by doing silly things like this?! The bikes served as a means of transport, not to do stunts!

Julie, now understanding a little about how her suit worked, tilted her body forwards and was rewarded by the suit rocketing in the same direction at a downward angle.

She swooped in, grabbing the golden armored person by the armpits, and pulling upwards in order to get the person and their bike, if they were still holding onto it, out of the way of the Feaster.

Racing to the location - and without breaking a sweat, looks like enhanced endurance is one of the side benefits of this 'transformation' - I manage to see the feaster in sight...and then get swooped up suddenly, with no warning, by something. I would've activated my 'Shock Horns' then and there but Kuwagatox 'sends' me multiple messages that it's a friendly. One of the other 'AnthroCore' partners. While it's nice to have backup, a little warning would've been nice. I had a strategy of sorts in mind and now it's ruined. Oh well, time to just wing it.

Keeping what Kuwagatox told me about my suit's powers in mind, I activate the Wing Rusher and blitz towards the feaster, Shock Horn swords extended. Not the best plan, but I'm hoping the feaster is distracted enough that first blood goes to the good guys.

Just our luck, this thing absorbs electricity! All electricity will do is empower the damned thing. Luckily for us, we can deactivate the electric strikes of our blades...making them normal strikes.
It does Explain Why it targets us. It feeds on things connect to electricty...we ARE connected to electricity.

Oh for fuck-...first Feaster we're meeting and it's one that counters my 'element'. Kuwagatox doesn't seem like a support model either, so I'm useless outside of the fight. I just hope these Shock Horns cut well enough without the 'element' boost.

"Alright, partner. I'm going in for another attack. Once it attacks, I need you to give me an approximate of how many of its attacks this armor can take, based on what you can analyze. You told me you're on the squishy side, so I'm going to try and avoid getting hit, but I'd like to know just how cautious I should be. Avoid a stubbed toe squishy? Or 'relative to a tank' squishy?"

My request to Kuwagatox sent, I go in for another attack. Rushing in with Wing Rusher again is out of the question. That kind of charge only works a few times, and certainly not when the foe is giving you its full attention. Instead, I'll try and rely on my past...training, as much as I don't want anything to do with those days, the enhanced mobility and power of Kuwagatox and the Shock Horns, or are they just 'Horns', now that the Shock element is turned off? Hopefully it goes well. Hopefully.

I try and move into melee range with the Feaster. If I can get in close enough, I'm going to attempt to make sushi out of it with my Horn Swords. Wing Rusher I'm saving just in case I need to dodge something fast.

Ugh...that was a painful hit the feaster got on me. It was good to know that even Kuwagatox's 'poor' armor could tank some hits, but getting hit like that was still painful. More hits like that and I'm going straight to a hospital, I need to play to my strengths, badly. Before rushing in, I need to confirm something important. Dodging some distance away while then newcomers launch their own attacks on CaneWire, I have a vital question for Kuwagatox. "Kuwa, can you create a secure communications channel with the other AnthroCores and their partners or is that beyond your abilities?"

Crane could practically feel the indignation coming from the centipede at being called whiny. The words 'cruel' and 'forceful' would suit it more from what the way the thing had behaved since they had met shortly before. Still, the young man was glad that he was not the only one this seemed to have happened to, or the only one new to whatever it was. To have what they were rushing towards confirmed, however...

How terrifying. But there was no choice now.

He barely had a chance to catch sight of the monster before Crane was suddenly dodging a motorcycle thrown at them. His heart was practically at his throat from how hard it was beating but he tried to center himself. Strangely the pain that the stupid armor had caused him when it had melted on to him gave him something to anchor his racing thoughts on to, if only for how sharply it stood out in his memory.

"So what can you do?! If you wanted to fight this thing then you have to have something to fight it with!" He hissed at the centipede head on his arm, eyes locked onto the monster in case it wanted to go after him or throw more vehicles.

Rook ducked under one of the cables as it lashed overhead. "You sure about this 'bare hands' thing?"

"But of course! As you are now, you stand as a pillar of strength, speed, and power! But there's to our abilities than those traits alone! See if you can get closer to our feaster foe!"

Rook shook her head and followed CrushHopper's instructions, dashing towards CaneWire as the others distracted him.

As CrushHopper relayed instructions to her, she focused energy into energy into her right hand, throwing a limb-enhanced punch at her toadlike foe.

"Of Course,Sugar!" His Core's voice spoke to him through his suit "In these moments you have three powers Honey Heal that allows you to heal your allies, Wax Guard that allows you to increase the defenses of your allies and Slowing Honey that allows you to briefly stop the target"

"Goddammit, I'm the damn healer of the team, right?" It's not like he could complain, after all he was a doctor

"To activate it, you only need to say the name of the skill and point to the target.You need to be relatively close to the target, but it allows you to stay far enough away" The Core finished explaining the functions of the suit.

"Understood, let's do this" Quickly and carefully to remain hidden from the monster, Saburo approached the heir who had just been electrocuted as far as he could. He was not as close as he would have liked, but it was enough. Pointing his right hand towards the wounded hero he whisper "HONEY HEAL!"

"Honey, you said that he had powers to support others" He said as he watched as several of the other heroes threw themselves at the monster "Tell me what they are and how I activate them"

"Of Course,Sugar!" His Core's voice spoke to him through his suit "In these moments you have three powers Honey Heal that allows you to heal your allies, Wax Guard that allows you to increase the defenses of your allies and Slowing Honey that allows you to briefly stop the target"

"Goddammit, I'm the damn healer of the team, right?" It's not like he could complain, after all he was a doctor

"To activate it, you only need to say the name of the skill and point to the target.You need to be relatively close to the target, but it allows you to stay far enough away" The Core finished explaining the functions of the suit.

"Understood, let's do this" Quickly and carefully to remain hidden from the monster, Saburo approached the heir who had just been electrocuted as far as he could. He was not as close as he would have liked, but it was enough. Pointing his right hand towards the wounded hero he whisper "HONEY HEAL!"

Saburo's hand morphs into a weird mix between a cartoon beehive and bee-abdomen. The weird cannon then shoots out gloopy honey onto the scorpions persons hand.

Rook ducked under one of the cables as it lashed overhead. "You sure about this 'bare hands' thing?"

"But of course! As you are now, you stand as a pillar of strength, speed, and power! But there's to our abilities than those traits alone! See if you can get closer to our feaster foe!"

Rook shook her head and followed CrushHopper's instructions, dashing towards CaneWire as the others distracted him.

As CrushHopper relayed instructions to her, she focused energy into energy into her right hand, throwing a limb-enhanced punch at her toadlike foe.

Rook hops forward, landing on a cable.
As electricity arcs, she jumps away, hoping from cable to cable, until she drops herself justing infront of the frog.
She pulls her arm back, the limb glows with an orange aura and she PUNCHES.

The gaints arms are unable to keep it straight as it is send sprawling onto the street, its rough landing tearing at its flesh.

"Fine. Then let's end this quickly."

Julie flies up as fast as the suit will go, stopping just before the Feaster isn't visible anymore. She then waits for a moment where the Feaster is vulnerable.

Our heroes are blinded, as bleeding, limping Feasters curls up its cable-legs and smashes its arms into the ground.
It then launches away, jumping to another segment of the city.

All arthroCores inform their users that the Feaster is fleeing.

Being further away from the flash, Julie blinks away the black spots in her vision, seeing the feaster trying to run away. Seeing its vulnerability, she ascends as quickly as possible and confirms the Feaster's location.

"NOW!!!"

Julie dives down straight at the Feaster, gravity and Dragonflight working in tandem to accelerate her descent to an incredible speed.

Just before impact, Julie flips forward, her foot outstretched in front of her as she slams into the Feaster's back with a flying kick.

Oh hell no the feaster isn't getting away. Seeing one of the other armored fighters ascend and go in for a dive kick, I rush as fast as this armor can take me, activate my wing boost and go for a deep, powerful slash at the Feaster's lower body. I'm hoping there's enough force in both our attacks that the thing gets bisected.
