Warcraft: The Rise of the Mag'har

why did Ner'zhul go evil anyway?
He was tricked, Kil'jaedan appeared in his dreams disguised as his dead wife and convinced him that the Draenei were plotting to destroy the Orcs. Now understand that the Orcs revered the wisdom of the ancestors so Ner'zhul had no reason to think he was being mislead.

Once he found out what was happening he attempted to fix the problem but by that point his apprentice Gul'dan was on the phone with Kil'jaedan...so yeah.

Course, as the Lich King. The Orcs were trying to do the Dark Portal thing again to another world Not inhabited by people that could potentially kick the Horde's ass. Unfortunately, this landed him right on Kil'jaden's doorstep who was still a bit peeved at Ner'zul denying him. So he tortured Ner'zul's soul for a bit before turning him into the Lich King and sending him to finish the job he started. If he succeeded in helping the Burning Legion conquer Azeroth, he'd be rewarded with a new body and life. If he failed. There would be nowhere he could escape.

So he did his job to avoid getting tortured forever, while trying to get out from the Burning Legion's control subtly because he knew there was no way they would keep up their bargain.

And as of Warlords, now they're BOTH getting screwed over.

New'zhul has to do whatever Grom and Garrosh say (although by the time you get there he seems to have accepted he's stuck in his role).

And Gul'dan has to deal with an angry Kil'jaeden who has absolutely no idea what's going on and what is happening.

Well, To be fair. Ner'zul wasn't really into leading anyway. He really just wants to join the Horde cause it was basically what he wanted in the first place. A united Orc nation.

All right, since we are on Hiatus, does that mean that there is a possibility for the quest to be continued much later on?

It's already pretty razor sharp. She's able to precisely determine and respond to calls and whispers on a battlefield filled with screaming roaring bloodlust consumed Burning Blade and the full might of the Alliance and the collapsing Horde just as well as in an empty field.

So uh, if I had to out a rating on it, she's sort of already at the level of hearing ability of those archers from Samurai Jack. A 10 is average, a twenty is extremely exceptional. She has more than a few stats above 10.

She's an orc warrior who has spent the last few years of her life training in the Land Of The Wind and at this point she is pretty good.

Her body is not the problem anymore, it is her mind and soul.
Alright one more thing about being a blademaster, would we be able to do wind slashes or sword beams with our sword if we train enough? If not would it work if we enchant the sword like with frost enchantment?

Laptop shattered, everything lost.
Oh dear.

Sword beams are probably not in the cards. Because that's getting a bit Too shonen.

And a Frost enchant would just make those struck by the weapon freeze/chill/slow.

If you want sword beams, Wind is probably the element you want. But a wind enchant would probably just let you cut better and hit faster.

*Cough Windfury Cough*

In a world full of half animal people, Cthulhu, demons from space, gigantic holy windchimes, magical dragons, Nukes, Voodoo, a tree the size of several mountains, giant robots, living embodiments of elements, time AND space travel...

You had doubts about the realism of moving from fishing to smelting copper?

I have considered it, yes.

The biggest turnoff for me as the GM was the fact that you guys had managed to progress from a semi-sedentary hunter-gatherer society to steam and copper forging.

It just wasnt realistic.
I know, especially that air cannon. Still, this way you couk control how fast they move, relatively, and we could start with a few years before the first war to give us some time to settle.
