Ruler of the Swarm
The Kurenai. You know, the sect of Draenei that we have been in talks with.

You do realize that we have been talking to regular Draenei and Broken? They are not all broken. Some of them can use the light. You can tell by rereading Kaz's interlude thing with them. The Kurenai. You know, the sect of Draenei that we have been in talks with.
They live in Telaar. And acording to the lore thatmeans that they are the Kurenai, or at least since we are before "The burning crusade" they are the ones who will become the Kurenai. You do realize that we have been talking to regular Draenei and Broken? There are regular Draenai there. It was mentioned when we first met them that some of them had been changed by the exposure to fel energy. They live in Telaar. Still, how do they have the numbers? They should not expect an increase in population for at least 3 more turns.
Look, whatever, I'm saying that they still shouldn't have the numbers o create another settlement. We have been able to doit because our population is over 100, 000. They should not have enough people to make another settlement. There are regular Draenai there. It was mentioned when we first met them that some of them had been changed by the exposure to fel energy.
Then it's highly unlikely to be a military staging ground; they lack the numbers to make it work. This seems to be an actual leap of faith here. It's a tiny one. Not a big one.
You know that villages can be like, 500-1000 peeps right?
You guys have built one big settlement and resettled two other large ones.
They are making a smallish medium sized one.
In medieval terms 1000 is outright town...
If it's that small. is there a chance for us to also make a sttlement next to theirs? It's a tiny one. Not a big one.

There's always the chance that some orcs could move in that town and live side by side with them.If it's that small. is there a chance for us to also make a sttlement next to theirs?
Perhaps if we can increase our level of relationship this turn?
Yup, My Hometown got its "City Rights" back in 1342.
Better to make a settlement nearby and then as they grow they can merge into one. There's always the chance that some orcs could move in that town and live side by side with them.
We have to try at least. That territory is freaking important to control Nagrand. We must have at least a presence there. The plateau itself isn't big enough for more than a trading post/small village to start with in WoW; I'm not sure how torroar has it set up.
We have to try at least. That territory is freaking important to control Nagrand. We must have at least a presence there.
But we need to do it before they get more people and there is no more space. If we don't control that territory, at least partially, then there is no way that we can control Nagrand. We would have to either move through Draenei territory, or move around it. We can't depend completely on the goodwill of a people who until just recenlt hated us with a passion for nearly exterminating their race and unleashing Ragnarok on the entire planet.I know this is important to you, but these sort of things take time. I mean we went from hostile to neutral within a few turns so give a bit more time and we can probably become bro's and share the rent so to speak.
Frankly that plateau is a suicidal place to build if it matches WoW as I've already pointed out more than once. It's an excellent place to build a trading post but it definitely isn't crucial to controlling the territory. We have to try at least. That territory is freaking important to control Nagrand. We must have at least a presence there.

We need that presence there.
We all ready have villages surrounding that location AND at every passage out of Nagrand. We've got things pretty controlled. We have to try at least. That territory is freaking important to control Nagrand. We must have at least a presence there.
But we are not attacking the Boulderfists until next turn.Once we start attacking the Boulder Fist in Nagrand we should we more of a chance establishing a sister settlement right next to them that can later merge since Draenai would be happy there are no Ogres running around that could cause trouble.
...That might actually work.Yeah, having someone you want as an ally set up a small village in an important location isn't really a bad thing.
Step 1) Become friends.
Step 2) Use that town as a shortcut to trade with your new friend.
Step 3a) Set up a permanent trading center near the town for ease of access for your own traders.
Step 4) Set up permanent shops/trading areas inside the town for ease of access to both parties traders.
Step 5) Revel in the closer ties between your people, because everyone loves smooth and profitable trade.
Step 6) Ask if you can hang out on a more permanent basis.
I thought that we were meeting the smaller clans and Cho'war this turn. It's a diplomacy option we are taking right? It allows us to kill the Boulder Fist in Nagrand while increasing relations with the Draenai.
