War Thunder: Planes and Maybe Tanks Too

The pakwagon is amazing fun

You can bring it up to high tier battles and snipe M18s who haven't quite realized that the Germans have a fast tank destroyer that can hit them before they get to their optimal sniping positions yet. Also if you have a particularly open map you can just sort of wander around it sniping things at random because you're so mobile and the gun is so great and nobody notices the widdle puma because they're so focused on the big heavy tanks.

I took it up to a high tier battle with @SirLagginton once, and he was in the Tiger H1.

Guess who got the more kills :p

Haven't played any of the War Thunder sea stuff yet:
Holy shit the PT boats can move that fast? It's moving like a goddamn jet ski.

...that's *so* dumb.
You mean fucking amazing

Admittedly, it's not actually representative of actual gameplay. Destroyers generally shut down PT boats hard, and they're best used in the early stage to sneak in a cap capture or in the unlikely event you don't have the points to spawn in a destroyer or aircraft. Later on, DDs will get close to the cap area and that's when PT boat relevance largely ends.

The M24 isn't even all that fast. It's got acceleration and good handling going for it, but the engine isn't exactly super strong. You're thinking of the M22 probably instead, which goes much much faster.
M24 with the 75mm. Mid tier scout. Drifts whenever it wants.

The turning and traction of vehicles in WT still don't really have any bearing on their actual weight and they slide all over the place even in RB, by extension the wacky boat drift ramp flying isn't very surprising. Maybe better implemented even. :p

It might have a 35 kmh speed offroad, but it does go much faster on roads, even if it does take a while to get there.
No Chaffee driver worth their salt is ever going to be caught dead on a road because the vast majority of roads in the game are urban slugfests where the Chaffee tends to run into heavies without cover and then die prompt deaths. I'm driven the Chaffee dozens of times and the only times I've seen the kind of performance you're describing is when I'm building up a lot of speed going down a slope, and even then the drift performance is kind of meh. You'd need to be deliberately setting up a drift to get what you're describing.

I dunno man, urban combat is probably like, the only way to use that stubby 75mm effectively at the BR it was it (I'm not sure what it's at now, but fighting Panthers and the like in conventional ways in that thing wasn't too great.)

I'm not sure what to tell you, but there's no possible way the Chaffee could ever face the likes of Panthers unless you screwed up your lineup really badly. This has been the case since the Americans were first introduced.
