The planet of Orn was a large desolate rock on the fringes of the known galaxy. It was mostly abandoned save for the few native creatures that crawled across it's surface. Only the large remnants of a single ship mark any created structure. Here hundreds of creatures sit using the ruins of the ship as a nest. The Thule Expedition had long ago deemed this planet uninhabitable and the vessel an abhorrent to mankind. They left the planet as there was more "pressing matters" to attend to. This abandonment would prove to be a mistake for now someone else is wishing to take command of the planet.
Under the command of Koroq-Tal of the Concordat forces, the Tallerian Concordat has launched an attack on Orn in an attempt to get orbital control and attempt to take control of the planet. The vessels come out of orbit and immediate deploy fighters to counter any sort of aerial attack. Only there was no aerial attack, nothing came to oppose them, and the sensorium read clear. They began to maintain orbit and prepare to land near a peculiar area of warp energy in the ruined ship. Using pre made bunkers that could be orbitally dropped in, the Tallerian began to create a 3 mile perimeter around the ruined vessel before they begin their assault. As the line armies began their advance, the local xenos attacked in a frenzy, insectoid of a vaguely humanoid shape, most were completely bare, while others wore the tattered remains of possible uniforms and void suits. To small in number, and to disorganized to truly harm the Terllerians, they were quickly massacred within a few short days, while the losses suffered by the Concordat were negligible.
With the vast majority of the Xeno warriors put down, and the few survivors scurrying off to hide, the Concordat troops secured the massive vessel and began to comb through the wreckage. Engineers and Scientist began to strip it of seemingly important bits, while the soldiers provided guards and searched the under-decks and cleared out any remaining xenos. It wasn't until a week in to the work that the first issues started appearing, Soldiers were being increasingly irrational, and irritable. Officers and Scientist were arguing more and more about what steps to take, and who held more authority on the mission. It all came to a head when an Engineer utilized a plasma cutter to disembowel one of his military guards. For roughly three hours mayhem washed over the Concordat forces as they attacked and killed one another in rage.
Koroq-Tal, and his bodyguard managed to resist the worse of the madness afflicting the proto-base, and scavenging expedition. With specialized tools, and calming drugs his core forces were able to get the majority of his forces back under control, and with the return of the final expedition into the wreaked voidship, retreat into orbit. In the coming days his scientist would confirm that the planet had an adverse effect on higher brain functions, which caused degeneration of sentient life forms. The planet was completely useless to the Concordat as a colony world. However a small scale salvaging mission could be established in orbit, with very high crew turn over.
Finally the most interesting artifact recovered would be what is called the "Ornian Warp Scoop" as its been termed. A strange device that seems to collect ambient Warp Energy. More study will be needed.

The Black Dragons transitioned into material space, already they were nearly overwhelmed with hails on the Vox asking for assistance from various Imperial commanders on the planet of Vespasia. They would have to wait, it took an additional three weeks to reach the world, by the time the Black Dragon Chapter did they stood well informed as to the current strategic and tactical disposition of both the loyal and traitor forces on the planet. Planetfall took less than an hour to arrange. Landing in areas where Imperial lines were stretched thin, and near breaking the Angels of the God-Emperor began to turn the tide against the renegade forces.
In most areas the the arrival of the Black Dragons heralded a complete turn around in the campaign. Traitor forces made up of motley civilian and PDF forces quickly routing and retreating, or even being completely destroyed in detail. However at the city of Havaldale, the former capital and nascent Hive City, and its surrounding territories the invasion came to a near complete stop. The Stigmartus, lead by Alpha-Level Rogue Psyker Kimmel Tarandrell was composed of a highly disciplened and trained core of former Imperial Guardsmen, numbering 130,000 strong, and supported by no less than 100 Black Legion Astartes, and many chaos tainted vehicles. With powerful Void Shields protecting Havaldale and its province from orbital bombardment, Imperial forces were forced to attempt to take the area on foot.
Losses among Guardsmen and Astertes alike were high, while the well entrenched Stigmartus took comparatively few losses. Havaldale is the last area of major resistance, but also the most important area on the former agri-world. Without it, the planet cannot be fully counted as a victory for Imperial forces.
From the Warp spilled the might fleet of the Steel Breed, quickly assessing there superiority over the Imperial Navy forces blockading the planet they moved swiftly to attack. Swarms of voidcraft surrounded the fleeing Imperial Navy, while larger ships exchanged broadsides with other capital ships. Boarding torpedoes came in wave after wave, and Chaos Terminators utilized teleportatium attacks to hit the command bridges of enemy ships. The Imperial Navy withdrew in the face of the overwhelming force as quickly as possible, but lost many ships during the valiant, if failed rearguard actions.
The Steel Breed Warband stood victorious in orbit, while below on the planets surface the Headsman of Cellebos utilized the Imperial loss of orbital superiority to decimated the attacking Imperial Guard Regiments and secure vast swaths of the planet.

The planet of Protasia was engaged in a brutal back and forth campaign that resulted in the death of countless of the Emperor's finest soldiers. For years it remainded belligerant and strongly imposed to Imperial pacification. These next few months however will bring about the worst of the rebles at Protasia.
The Cadians of the 8th Expeditionary Force arrived over the planet and began to land drop infantry to assist in capturing several hive cities thus laying the groundwork for the main hammer of the force to arrive. The rebels quickly launched a series of mass assaults to try and dislodge these defenders which had varying degrees of success due to the swiftness and hoard mentality that the enemy had. In the end, only 2 cities were "in" Cadian hands but they were extremly far from the main Imperial battle lines. Despite this grim situation, the men were pouring into the front, putting the enemy quite severely on the backfoot for many in the rebel command believed that the Imperials were just launching a quick raid on their forces. The rebels desperately launched a counter attack which many guard units said "were equipped with nothing more than knives and shovels."
Cadian 3rd Line Infantry fighting valiantly in the name of the Emperor
These weak and desperate units proved to be deadly for their numbers were well in the tens of thousands and had actually routed the 2nd and 3rd line armies before they were allied by Comissar Palus Larkin, who along with the 8th and 108th "Crimson Guard" proceeded to countercharge the enemy forces who struggled to deal with the enemy armour. By the end of the month, the enemy began to withdraw at a level unseen on Protasia, causing what many believe to be a collapse of the front. With this happening, Lord General Alvis Sorkin proceeded to push his forces and unite with the guard currently on the world. With their men reunited, they can now begin to push forward against the remaining pockets of resistance.

The retreat of the Imperium has brought a much needed moral boost to the beleaguered realm of Duke Severaus, the Orks still ravage his systems but he has maintained control of the situation, now begins something he's been waiting too long to do, purge the Greenskins from his planet.
The Dominate forces launch an attack deep into Ork territory punching through large swathes of territory using close artillery and air support to destroy and cripple the Orksish defenses and pave the way for a Dominate attack. The initial defenses collapsed before the surprise attack of Dominate forces. Despite these early advances, the Orkish defenses began whittling down the human attackers while large mods counter attacked in hopes to retake lost ground.
Dominate Aircraft after a feirce bombardment of an Orkoid Position
The Orkish defenders, initially caught off guard, began pushing back hard under the command of Nork BloodI, a cunning Ork who reviles in frontline fighting. The Orkish counterattacks were brutal and swift with many units occasionally being surrounded before they realized such attacks were going on. Yet despite these attacks, the Orks were proving difficult to keep disciplined. Purgation teams began targeting sub commanders and warbosses in hopes that the hoard will become disoriented and begin to infight. This worked to a limited degree as the Orkish forces would become temporarily paralyzed after such attacks. This lead to the Orkish forces to either retreat and regroup or counter attack and get routed (usually the latter of the two).
Nork is a clever warboss however and realizing these problems has ordered his boyz to pull back toward more defendable ground using artillery and fighta-bombers to cover his retreat. The Kulth Reclamation Army has made some surprisingly good progress however in regards to removing the Orks from Kulth, capturing a total of 30-50 Kilometers in a few months. The Orks still have key ground in several defendable positions and a formidable foe in the shape of a very angry warboss. Regardless, the men and women of the Dominate are up for the this task….or so they think.
Summary
Dominate forces launched their attack and initially caught the Orks off guard.
The forces eventually got bogged down and began taking casualties
The Warboss counterattacked but the attacks began to fall through due to a lack of warbosses to instill order

Battle in the Marches
The battle on 47 Kapella was a slow and brutal one. For years little progress was made to rid the world of these rebellious rapscallions. All this was about to change, or so the Margrave hoped.
The Margrave arrived in orbit with his armies and proceeded to land his forces. Commander Mythias, who was exstatic about the new reinforcements, quickly became angry hearing that he was being releived of supreme command. Mythias, despite his anger toward the Margrave for this "betrayal" was a great help in unloading the men and materials to their fronts. This was still a time consuming process however so the Margrave then used his orbital and air assets to perform some vital recon of the enemy position. What was discovered was outright disturbing.
The enemy was dug into a large series of highlands, forests and the occasional bog all held together by a series of mountain ranges and Hive Fortresses. The nature of the defenses however was largely a mystery for the air recon could barely get detailed photographes before considerable anti air fire forced them to retreat. The Orbital recon did much better but it reveiled something that was a major point of concern, orbital defeses. Several destroyers took direct hits from these weapons before they were forced to pull back out of range. The orbital recon did however bring up more information though. The enemy has established a multi layered and well made defenseive line making use of natural choke points and defensive terrian. These photos however barely explain the other possible defensive networks that could exist behind these. The Margrave was beginning to see why the Commander didn't do much in the way of recon (although several correspondence messages Mythias sent to Regimental Commanders were ladden with phrases like "the Emperor will guide our strikes against the enemy hence why we need nought the position of their foxholes")
The Margrave was beginning to form a plan however. The weakest points seemed to be at two points, the Preko forests and Hive City Ptylomy. The Forest seemed to only have one major defenseive line that seemed to be on top of a hill while Ptylomy seemed to have several breaches being held by one lightly garissoned trench. The plan would be to launch attacks all along the sector with these two points acting as the areas for a main break through. The plan was laid out to the Regimental Commanders who made several minor protests. One said that the Hive settlement would take days or even years to fully get under control while the marshes are a much easier to take and won't tie down as many troops. Another suggested that an attack through the mountains could catch them off guard and force them back. Mythias even said it might be wise to push across a river and secure a mountain pass on the extreme far right but the Margrave these complaints were discarded and the plans were finalized.
A date was set and the army was ordered to take positions. The Margrave ordered the 21st Catapracks, the 1st Mobile Artillery, The 3rd Seige Regiment and the 3rd to take positions at Hive Ptylomy while the 4th Mechanized Regiment, the 1st Reconisance Regiment, the 4th Artillery Regiment and the 1st Army took positions to begin their assault on the forest. The men were supported at Ptolomy and Preko by a Seige Regiment each.
The pieces were now set, now began the bombardment. Bombers and Artillery began pounding the enemy positions for about a week hoping to knock out the defenses before the men move in to take it. Once the local barrages was finished, the Margraves Forces began their advance.
The 3rd Seige Regiment (known as the Rampart Climbers) surged forward being supported by the Leaping Jackals (the 21st Cataphracks) the first trench was taken in less then an hour being only lightly garrisoned by men who either instantly retreated or died where they stood. The Tanks and Mechanized units were quick to exploit this supposed break through and pushed far ahead of the Seige Infantry trying to make a mad dash through the hive city's breaches. Something wasn't adding up though. These trenches were vital for protecting the city, why would they basically be abandoned. The sound of hundreds of detonating charges sounded off as the whole trenchline blew up in a deafining cacophony. The enemy apparently rigged their own trench to blow up once it was captured inflicting heavy casualties on the regiment.
Meanwhile the Cataphracks and Silver Sheilds Mechanized Regiment began entering the Hive only to be greeted by a hail of fire from multiple different areas. Leman Russ battle tanks began fireing at anything that had a weapon while the Chimeras began unloading their cargo to support the Tanks. The assualts pushed deep into the city caturing the lower levels in a slow grind forward. The defenders have made almost every building a bunker that had to be cleared. The enemy didn't surrender, even when confronted with the pure might of the Margrave's force. There was one report of a soldier leaping from a building and planting a live demolition charge onto the lead tank, which blew up and disabled the tank, causing a small traffic jam that took hours to effectively get around. The Seige Regiments fared better being built for taking deeply entrenched positions but causualties began to take their toll on the assaulting units. Even the air units suffered massive difficulties due to anti air guns opening fire on these birds as they made their way in for close air support. By the end of the 3rd month many units requested to be releived and replaced so they can lick their wounds and go at them again.
Remanants of the Rampart Climbers fighting through the defenses of an enemy Hive
The Forest attack faired better if you could even call it that. The Line Infantry pushed forward in an attempt to secure the hill only to find out that the enemy not only fortified the top of the hill but also the hill itself, thus creating a dual bunker system that proved difficult to dislodge. The Forest was also difficult to navigate for their was a great deal of booby traps that seemed to have been placed the nights before the assault. Thankfully the Diviner Plucher managed to use his powers to predict and stop several soldiers from getting their legs blown off by the occasional proximity mine or punji trap. Reguardless, the men pushed forward and after a few weeks of fighting began to push the men slowly out of the hill and forests trying to avoid hidden Bunkers and Anti-Tank guns which were common all along the hill and forests lines. Casualties began to mount as the men pushed these objectives. Eventually, the Margrave's men secured the hill and most of the forest once the Seige Regiment began it's push. The enemy is however launching a brutal gorilla war campaign against the Margrave's forces from a hidden base somewhere within the forest. If discovered it could help reduce the casualties that the men are sustaing in the region.
All in all the gains were small, piecemeal, something that the Margrave definitely wasn't expecting from this campaign. The only good news however was the fact that a couple of large supply caches were captured and that the front managed to make some minor gains of a few Kilometers (the farthest was about 3) and a potential breakthrough at the wood for the men had barely made any progress on Hive Ptolomy due to the facets of urban warfare (and the brutality the enemy is showing the Imperial forces there). The only major setback is the casualties, the brunt of them inflicted at Hive Ptolomy with Preko coming in second place if not for thr brutal gorilla warfare they have being experienceing.
Sumarry:
Recon Elements proved effective but can't gather much due to anti air and orbital defense guns.
Hive Ptolomy has been entered but is proving difficult to control and capture.
Preko has mostly been secured but the enemy seems to have a base from where they're launching gorilla attacks.
Minor gains all over the front due to the tenacity of the defenders
Glory Gained: 0
Casualty Reports:
Margrave's Forces: 40% (with over half of the Siege Regiment being wiped out)
Present Imperial Forces: 40%
Rebel Forces: 20%
