Really now? The Lord of Ultramar sent you and your....men to assist us? I'm flattered that we have managed to attaract the attention of the Lord of Ultramar. As for your placement, do you wish to fight the Lords of Chaos or the Tau nuscaince cause we need men on either of those fronts currently as there have been recent rumors of troop influxes and we don't have much of an Astartes Garrison there.

He wished for this campaign to be over as soon as possible, the rest of the Chapter will join my forces as soon as the Imperial Regent frees them from their current obligations.
We shall join your forces currently fighting the eldritch abominations of Chaos.

Tarellian Concordiat Trade Mission to Silverhammer
First Contact
Concordiat Trader "Aztec" on it's way to Silverhammer, wonder what's inside
The Tarellian Concordiat has made contact with some unknown civilization of Silverhammer, as the ships enter the port, the leader of the expedition Lord Oaxaca was intrigued to know who these contacts were. Are they the hated humans or the mysterious Eldar? No, humans would've just openfire and Eldar aren't really too keen on trasspassers either. It couldn't be Chaos or Orks for each of those nations would have to looted there vessel long before they pulled into port. The preist's scanners never picked up any excess of warp energies that would signify any sort of chaos corruption so with a nod to the helmsman, they begin the docking process.
The doors of the Tallerian vessel open to reveal an unexpected sight. The creatures were reptilian in nature and seemed to posess 4 limbs that each posessed a variety of different weapons. The creatures had a large snakelike torso. In fact, the whole thing looks very much like an overly large green viper. Some of the guard were taken aback by their sudden and quick entrance onto the ship. They roared only to be followed by the creature's own hisses. The Preist put his hand up, as a sign for his men to stand down, this was a trade mission, not a war raid.
The strange warriors do the same as a new figure emerges. This creature has a copper tone and a rattle on his tail. He looks toward the preist, seemingly knowing the station of this figure despite never meeting. The creature then opens his mouth and begins speaking.
"Are you Lord Oaxaca, the head of the trade expedition of the Tarrellian Concordiat?"
The guiding light of the Emperor is with us all in these times. In times of strife and ruin when times are darkest it is for his servants not to forget his light and be the bearer of his will.
The Emperor's Tarot will guide our hand but before it is read we require information from the front

General Address to the leaders of the Imperial factions
This is Solar Admiral Evangeline Kosgyin-Garroway. Per naval protocol as of the death of Lord Admiral Radcliffe, I have assumed command over Battlefleet Calixis. Our mission has remained unchanged: we shall fight the heretic, the mutant, the xeno wherever they dare step foot within the Emperor's Domain.
At present our priority is to reorganize and regroup in preparation for renewed operations with the assistance of our recently added battleships. Communiques to relevant fronts will be dispatched soon. Route all communiques and petitions to the Imperial Navy to Port Wrath, Port Wander, or nearby naval base to relay to my office.
To: Calixis Battlefleet
From: House Carnath (via Astropathic message)
We spoke not to long ago about the purchase of a Grand Cruiser. 50 MS was the agreed upon price. We are ready to transfer the funds, and pick up the ship at Port Wander.
To: House Carnath
From: Solar Admiral Kosgyin-Garroway
As per the agreement, the Vengence-class grand cruiser Chorus of Armaggedon will be transferred at Port Wander. Details on percentage of naval ratings and officer complement to retain can be negotiated by appointed representatives at the port. Captain Erik Hawkings and his command staff come with my personal seal of recommendation though final judgement rests upon your representative. Transfer of the final command codes and the commission of the ship will be performed after military supplies are transferred to naval warehouses.
May this relic of the Great Crusade serve once more well within your care. Support it well, and it will not falter in it's duty.

Captain Erik Hawkins hands over the Staff of Command to House Carnath, with it the cogitator ciphers and command keys to control the grand cruiser. From there it becomes just a discussion of trivial logistics and technical minutae on the needs and support of a Grand Cruiser. Considerable of course, but well worth it for the kilometers of macrobatteries and lances now at House Carnath's command.

"Are you Lord Oaxaca, the head of the trade expedition of the Tarrellian Concordiat?"
Lord Oaxaca strikes forth on his stubby legs, flanked by a pair of Warrior Caste Guards in armor and with disruptors.
"I am Lord Oaxaca. I am the leader of this expedition." He says.
His guards keep an wary eye open. This first contact scenario could turn ugly quick if a misunderstanding were to occur.
"I am pleased to see we are dealing with fellow Coldbloods on this issue. The Concordiat could use more trade partners. By Chance would you be willing to set up regular trade?" Replied Lord Oaxaca

The creature's tail rattles at this proposal, clearly stating interest without saying a word.
"We could arrange that but firssst I mussst sssee what goods you have for trade."
The creature seemingly pays no attention to the guards and slithers right in front of the preist. That's when the priest realizes something. This creature is BIG. Standing almost a foot taller than him. Could this be a move of intimidation or a move of peace? Whatever the case, he seems interested.

Lord Oaxaca seems nonplussed at this display, his Potent Psychic Might would be more than Sufficient to eliminate the Being.
"Please Follow Me, we have many goods waiting in the Cargo Bay." He Says as he motions towards the Turbolift
When they arrive at the Cargo Bay several trade goods are on display, ranging from Ingots of Armor Materials, to Gold Ingots, to Ivory Statues carved from tusks, to the toughened DEW resistant Hides of several species, to samples of technology. There is even a Light Dino on display, with Heavy Disruptor Mounts and troop seating.
"Behold, we have many trade goods, we bring Ingots of Durasteel that can withstand blasts from enemy weapons, Gold Ingots and Ivory Statues for those of you of a more Affluent Bent, we bring the Hides of the Hounds of Xibalba, capable of being made into DEW Resistant Armor for troops, several different types of technology including weather control technology and Holographic Communications Devices, as well as an entire contingent of these Light Assault Dinos, bred specially for fast moving warfare. These are just samples, we have many more goods waiting in their various pods and stasis units." Said Lord Oaxaca

The creature inspects each object with interest. The Gold, the holo devices, and the dinosaurs seem to peak the creature's interests (tail Rattles alot at the sight of these things). Once Oaxaca is finished speaking. The creature speaks once more.
"Mosst interessting goodss you have brought. The Grand Sshlar will be most pleassed with these. What do you want for the Gold and Holo Devices?"

"We currently have an ongoing expedition to conquer a world in another part of space, so we would take weapons and Military Supplies in exchange." Replied Lord Oaxaca.
"Once we conquer that Planet we would be interested in renegotiating for other objects if this is to become a regular trade route, but that is for the future."

Hive World Thical. Drusus Marches. Calixis Sector
Magrave Orontes IV lazily petted the Cherub resting on his lap as yet another faceless officer repeated the same rote reports his Generals fighting in 47 Kapella had sent him yesterday, which was pretty much the same thing as almost every other previous report. "No progress, my Lord. Send more troops.". God-Emperor above, a minor insurrection like that should've been dealt with years ago. He had half a mind to just shoot the whole lot of them once he arrived on the front. Maybe if Lord Hertzinger drops by Kapella during his tour of the Marches.
"Thank you for your input, Lieutenant." Orontes spoke up, interrupting the officer mid-speech. "I have heard enough." The officer hesitated for a moment. "Are you hard of hearing, officer? You are dismissed." The officer finally took hold of his senses and hurriedly left the war room after giving a shot bow to his overlord.
"I honestly don't see why we waste our time with this." Orontes continued as he fed the Cherub treats from a bowl held by a servitor standing by his marble throne. "How long until I can leave for the front?"
"The ships should be ready to depart within the next two days, My Lord." Another aid replied.
"Refitting work is also finished on the other squadrons." His brother, Arsames, informed. "The captains report that they've alaready started mining the first asteroids."
Orontes nodded faintly to that, scratching the back of the Cherub as he did so. "I trust that you won't needlessly burden me with useless information while I'm on the front, brother. I am sure you're capable of running this measly operation without my constant input."
Arsames bristled silently at the insult, but remained silent. There would be words once they were alone, but a veiled insult over asteroid harvesting wasn't worth starting another argument in front of their inferiors. Emperor knew this mob didn't need real fodder for their simpering gossiping.
"If there's nothing else." Orontes said as he stood up, carefully placing the Cherub upon the holotable. "I'm taking my leave."
"There's the Astartes ships sighted near Protasia." Arsames replied.
"Find out what they want, give them the usual platitudes." Orontes ordered dismissively, halfway between his throne and the gilded doors. "And see if we can get them to lend their troops to the pacification." And with that he left.
You have infringed upon restricted space around the world of Protasia. Identify yourselves at once or you shall be treated as enemies of the Imperium.
-In the name of Lord Orontes IV Sophenes, Magrave of the Drusus Marches, Supreme Commander of the Imperial Pacification Forces within the Marches. 10 Destroyers and 5 Frigates refitted to harvest asteroids. Collecting 125 MS and 250 CC

Arsames Sophenes, second son of the late Artavazdes III and younger brother of the Magrave of the Drusus Marches, was an austere man. Not prone to the usual excesses and pomp of the nobility. Maybe that's why he choose to keep the arrival of the Astartes representative a secret to the wider planet, receiving the Lieutenant on a half ruined small space station on the edges of the system instead of using the occasion to throw a party like many suggested his brother would've done. Or maybe he just didn't trust the word of some folks who stayed lost inside the Warp for a decade. Even Orontes wouldn't risk himself like that. Well, maybe not if he were sober. Then again, he was going to meet with them in person...
But Arsames was not his brother. He liked to think he had more sense, which was why he also had detached a few ships from the system's defense squadron to prowl in the general vicinity of the space station, where he waited alongside his aides and bodyguards within the command room.
"My Lord." A officer by the consoles spoke up. "The Astartes' ship has reached the system, requesting permission to dock."
