Sees Leviathan go down wrestling, then tickling her, The Retriever.
A ball of energy forms in its mouth as it closes in to… drop it at Leviathan's feet.
All the heroes pause. One voice calls out something. Then others take up the chant.
The Retriever jumps and lands crouched. "Whuff!"
The rain dies down as Leviathan leans forward.
"Throw the ball!"
One especially thoughtful voice adds "…into the Bay!" They are looking at the city.
The ball is thrown. The Retriever joyfully collects it, dropping it at the Endbringer's feet. The waves recede. The rain stops.
Hours pass.
"How long have they been at it?"
"Six hours of fetch. Two hours of wrestling. There was a break when Leviathan went out to the Sargosso to collect enough plastic to make a giant bag… you don't want to know."
"Most of the capes have left. Civilians came out. Lot of picnickers. Good thing shipping stopped years ago, one throw went into the ship graveyard." The man shakes his head.
"They seem to be drifting further out to sea."
"Yeah, after the Retriever figured out how to run on water."
"PHO is calling it a Floofbringer. They think it is taking Levi away from the landmass."
One snarky voice added, "Good! Can you imagine the golden fleas?"
