Villainous Ideals

While tazers and beanbags are cheap and less likely to kill people, they are not infallible. Goober rounds could work much better, and if sufficiently well done, can be made sure to not obstruct airways.
Yeah, but not like we use guns all that much.

Fine, let's just invent nightsticks that zap the shit out of people.

You know it would be funny as all hell if most fatalities only happened when the Heros and Police try and stop our plans. Like with how the paint gun situation went down. We did something that was quite embarrassing and at most vandalism, all the real injuries were the result of Police stupidly firing their guns at metal robots in the middle of a crowd.
It's an added benefit if that happens but I don't really think we should go out of our way to avoid that.

Why spend resources on disabling ammunition anyway? I mean I can see them as handy at some cases but going out of our way for unique ones like that..

That could work too, but I'd rather make it motile enough that it could move out of the way of airways. Air permeable goop has a chance of getting sucked in and inhaled, I think.

I admit, I just want the shiny non-lethal ammunition, but I also think it's going to be a much better choice than mundane non/less-lethal disabling ammunition. Especially at disabling most lower ranked (and maybe a few of the higher ranked) heroes or villains.
I was thinking that we also make it act as a filter. that way if we fight a rival that uses posian gas we can shot our organic allies with it to save their lives.

Make it so that the goop can transfer oxygen from the surface of the goop to the lungs, also, I would add a minor anesthetic so it's harder for them to escape.

[x] Frozen Chicken

"Behold the might of Revan!" The speakers practically yell the statement once the day opens up.

"Can you turn that off!" One of the guards yell to the side as he holds up his hands for the n'th time. "I'm sorry ma'am, the museum is closed. We had a recent bit of vandalism and we are restricting access to the public." There is a sizable crowd at the entrance now, most of them very curious as to what's going on.

"In his generosity, Revan has given the city an opportunity to recover these precious items." The speakers again practically yell.

Another guard pokes his head outside. "I can't! Something the nut did makes it impossible for me to stop it unless I want to yank the entire system out. It's going to take until the tech gets here."

The woman in front peaks over the guards shoulder. "What did he do? That new villain stole everything didn't he?"

The guard coughs. "It's a bit more complicated than that."

The woman finally manages to see inside the building. "Oh, wow. That guy has issues. It's like a shrine dedicated to himself."

"Yes." The guard sighs as another announcement blares out. "It's something like that."

Another person behind the woman chimes in. "What'd he do?"

"Everything is a picture of him now!" The woman calls back and looks in again. "I even see a statue too."

"Oooh, so that's what that announcement was about." Another member of the crowd states.

The guard sighs as the crowd starts to disperse. Then the announcement blares out again.

"Stand in awe of Revan!"

He fingers his gun in sincere desire to shoot the damned speaker. A moment later there is a gunshot and a fizzling noise.

Sometimes, Minsuh loves her jobs. Most certainly she's got to deal with having a leash, and has to obey a child barely out of diapers. But every now and again he comes up with something entertaining. Messing with people is her second most favorite thing. And since her most favorite thing is out of the question, this is the best she's going to get for a long time.

Of course there is a decided lack of pain for the people she's tormenting, but the confusion and determination to press onward makes up for it. Revan's puzzles were complex, and often obscure things. Beautiful in their own way, they were solvable none-the-less. Mostly because they were static, and there was this lovely human invention called the internet.

Her job in this case was to make them less static. More tricky, and flowing. More painful in a way.

It's entertaining what a spirit could do if she had time and victims. She had to press just enough on them to make it hard. To make them work for it.

Like this couple. The puzzle itself was more an obstacle course. Relatively easy in general, but only if you used the tools provided. Without them it became a method of brute force, which these two were doing.

All it takes is a misjudged handhold here, a missed path there, and they are right back at the beginning. The frustration is palpable. Minsuh stifles a giggle as they start to argue. She's not really responsible for them hurting each other, and the two were rather close to it right now.

Really, all they had to do was think! Even she could see the pieces, and she was far from a genius.

Oh, but what fun it was to make certain they did it the right way. She got to do this all day even.

The little things in life were the best.

They might even come to blows if they didn't do it right. Wouldn't that be lovely? All because of a little puzzle and a reward. The anticipation was killing her.

---

"The recovery of the last painting stolen was performed today, one week after the villain Revan looted the museum. Total expenses are considered relatively minor, with only the loss of business from being closed down. The curator was able to confirm that all the pieces were returned safely and in good condition. Aside from the minor injuries that several of the more enthusiastic treasure hunters inflicted on themselves, this particular plot is considered one of the lowest damage wise.

Though the bedlam created by the hunters was still responsible for several traffic jams, and other, less tolerable actions by the general populace. The police have reported that there haven't been any more notable crimes involved in this plot. The vandalism performed in the museum is still being analyzed for subversive elements, and will be stored until the villain is once again in custody."

The news report on your actions is hardly flattering, but it is persistent, and got your name in the air for a long time. It's entertaining how people talked about you while it went on. Considering how much work it was to hide all these puzzles, that's warms your villainous heart.

Reward: 50 Mania, 50 Torment. 5,000 dollars for returning a painting.

a response could be to make our own better gas masks, but then they'll be expensive, don't you think?
Yet potentially still less expensive then Goober considering we haven't really gotten any pricing on either. As it is don't we need a skill to make non mudane things like that?

RTM said:
How so? I mean, the goober will focus on immobilizing the rest of the body. And if the abilities to anaesthesize, taze and such are added in, it would be even harder to get out.
the goober round would by nature cling to the target, even if you could easily uncover the mouth and nose the victim could not which makes the feature useless unless you make it easy for the victem to move enough to uncover said area. also we want the goober rounds to avoids the risks of tazeing or drugging.

Maybe it's just me not having English as my main language, but what did you just say? The goop is nanomotile, it'll move away from the airways enough that there is a channel through which the target can breathe. But at the same time, the goop's mobility could be used to restrain a target constantly regardless of how it struggles. Just because the goop has given the target air holes to breathe from, would not make it easier to escape...

Or did you mean something else?
your original comment seemed to imply easy to move rather then Nanomotile.

[x] rank up materials
[x] use our rank up to upgrade Minsuh's, brilliance's and our own armor.
[x] contact Maestro's local forces and see if we can off load our diamonds for cash. also look into on what goods we could potential buy from them. (accept a 10-15% markdown from their normal buying price in the interest of better business relations)
[x] offer the Hell raisers Flashbang RPGs at half price in exchange for them raiding he city's infrastructure to cause chaos, they just need to tag their attacks by spray painting a raven at the site of the attack.
[x] Look into the catburgler and see if we can hire him to acquire the manifests of the high security warehouses.
[x] look into the costs of hiring the cities criminal element to aid in one of our heists.
[x] have the fabber build brusierbots ($1000 budget assuming the $26 a bot numbers are accepted)
[x] establish a small base in the caves outside the city. 5 bruiserbots 15 dumbots for labor.

This does give me an idea for a new skillset.

Material Manipulations:
1 - Allows one to use all common materials used in construction of various items, tools, and clothing
I'm not so sure that this will allow us any sort of significant advantage worth the rank up when we can use it to get human level AI or starting out on bureaucracy.

Buisness lets us get rich and buy Mania, bureaucracy helps protect our business. We need to max out both these things.
