Veritable-Level One: ReStart- Danse Fictive de deuil [Thread 2](PMMM)

Argh, I have a headache, and I'm feeling way out of it. This really isn't a good time. I really hope you guys know what you're doing.

So, did I make a dumb mistake in the vote and got that girl to try and mind whammy us, or did Devil Homu decide to screw us over at the worst possible time? I'm just really confused right now.

Re-chan's curious about you. You made some pretty funny expressions.

I'm... Somewhat sure. I can see several ways this can go wrong, but given any plan, I could probably see several ways it could go wrong.
My goal is to adapt to new information, without trying to account for it ahead of time.

[X] Laugh softly and say: Thank you for the compliment Sumeragi-san but I doubt I would be a good actress, I've always had a terrible stage fright. Not to mention my singing voice is the very stuff of nightmares.
-[X] You seem to be fascinated by this city, may I ask why? I admit I'm a bit jealous, I've never felt too much attachment to any place I've lived.

[X] Ah, thank you very much for the compliment Sumeragi-san. I've never really considered that I could be one. Too much stage fright.
-[X] You seem to be fascinated by this city. I admit I'm a bit jealous, I've never felt too much attachment to any place I've lived. I've only come here very recently, but your name, Sumeragi, sounds familiar. I've heard that that family is very influential and has done a lot of good here.
--[X] I imagine that many people with access to powers and magic would use those solely and safely for their own benefit. And yet it sounds like you're using them to help clean up the city. That's very admirable. Especially with others like this Ripper Girl out there. Are there many Specials like her out there?

[X] Ah, thank you very much for the compliment Sumeragi-san. I've always wanted to be in theater, but after the heart surgery, I couldn't do it anymore. Too physically active.
-[X] Play the sympathy card. Show her scars for proof if she presses.

[X] Smile. She can tell you're lying, that much is obvious. Still, you can at least pretend she's wrong. Thank you, but I'm not all that pretty. I'd never considered being an actress before.
-[X] May I ask you what he meant when he referred to you as a Cracker-class Peacekeeper? What does that entail? What other classes are there?

[X]Smile creepily, copying our demonic counterpart.
-[X]...I could say the same of you. Curious...why the silence? You clearly have something on your mind...share?

Feeling more than a little annoyed. Hopefully we can fix this. Not feeling so optimistic right now, though. Those were some pretty bad dice rolls.

I really am curious, though. What could we have done or said to prevent whatever's going to happen next?

[X] FLAMING CHICKEN

Was she leading you on or was it something else? You can't exactly read her as clearly as her partner before. She mostly kept to herself during the entire conversation... Looking around and smiling as if she knew something didn't. You didn't know if it was some sort of bluff to get you to slip up but you had to admit she did seem unnerving.

But once she spoke, you didn't exactly know what drawer you should put her in. How much did she know and just what was she planning? What did she mean by actress? Even if she did only speak a few words, you couldn't help but detect a hidden meaning behind them.

You'll keep acting casual. No use breaking the act now and if she does notice anything... Well... You had plans.

You gave the hooded girl before you your own smile as you said, "Thank you, but I'm not all that pretty. I'd never even consider being an actress before."

"Oh but you should!" chirped Reiko as she sat up straight, "I mean, it's not every day someone with your looks comes around. The girls on television these days are either ugly actresses that can't act to save their life or crummy idols and their stupid songs! I'm kind of jealous really because I think your hair really suits you. Like a real Japanese beauty!"

You blinked, "Oh is that so? Well I'm certainly flattered but aren't you Japanese too? Well... You do have the look of a foreigner..."

"Well it's a long story but my Dad's a foreigner. So that makes me a half! Mom has this really pretty black hair though. Just like you. She's an Actress, you know! Really famous around these parts!" boasted Reiko in a happy tone, "When Yousuke said that we're going to do patrol to find that Ripper Girl I thought that it was going to be a boring time. I'm glad I came though. Say, can I take a picture?"

W-Wait, w-what? Is... Is this some sort of ploy to spread your identity around? Was she going to maim you as soon a she got close? You were still wary of her and even if your body language showed that, Reiko seemed to be oblivious to it.

She already had a digital camera in hand!

"W-Wait! I don't think that's necessary," you piped up, raising your hands in defense as the hooded girl was about to stand up.

Reiko blinked and plopped back on the sofa as she lowered her camera. Wow, she seemed genuinely down when you shot up her request, huh? Well you did decide to lay low...

The smile she gave you was an apologetic one as she scratched the back of her head, "I'm sorry. That must have been too much, yes?"

"It was merely unexpected," you replied.

Reiko's uncomfortable expression only grew darker as the gloom above her head increased.

.... Maybe you shouldn't make her feel even worse than she already did.

Clearing your throat, you tried getting her attention once again as you asked, "May I ask you what your partner meant when he referred to you as a Cracker-class Peacekeeper? What does that entail? What other classes are there?"

It's note like you didn't know already. You were aware of the Classes Mami and Kyouko established and organized to better understand each Magical Girl's abilities. The common traits in each Magical Girl's abilities are gathered into one group, thus making a faction of their own.

You were simply wondering if the case was the same here... If so, then how could they know what each Classes entail when the origin of the terms came from your world?

Reiko gave you an odd look before giving you a clueless grin, "I don't really know. They say that it has something to do with my powers. It's confidential! A secret to the main Branch of the Peacekeepers! Sorry, I can't tell you and even if I could, I wouldn't remember. Other classes are also confidential! Can't say anything unless my siste- um... My boss tells me so! But maybe I could ask permission."

So Peacekeepers could only share information to a certain degree, huh? It seemed like they have a lot to hide even if you already had an idea as to what they were hiding. From where you were standing, the organization leading the Peacekeepers was a formidable one... You weren't sure you'd be able to take them on if you ever decided to go against them.

But then again, you had no reason to. You just had to lay low or otherwise get into their good books. The thought of Magical Girls and Humans working together was still uncomfortable to think about...

You smiled and nodded, "I see."

"Anyhow, it's going to be a really busy week. Yousuke's already feeling the rush because the next Infinity Festival is just a day away," crossing her arms, Reiko flashed you a happy grin as she said, "So you should be careful, okay? Try remembering the evacuation procedure should you find yourself lost in the streets! The Peacekeepers will keep this town safe!"

Wait... Didn't Suzune's note say something about those things? The Phenomenon... Known as the Infinity Festivals..?

... Damn it someone please tear apart the first thread and find out what all the damn magical girl classes are. I have a feeling I've forgotten half of them.

...I'll see myself out.

So she did, in fact, literally mean an actress, as in a woman who acts in TV Shows and Movies and such. I feel kinda bad for doubting her now.

Magical Girls: A Guide to their Classes!
... Damn it someone please tear apart the first thread and find out what all the damn magical girl classes are. I have a feeling I've forgotten half of them.
Now there are three total factions in Mitakihara managed by Kyouko and Mami.

These are the Magnates, Marquis, and Nobles.

The Magnates are composed of combat Magi which are under Kyouko's heavy training. They are composed of the Aoid (Ranged), Berserkers (Melee), Silencers (Stealth/Glass Cannons), and the Magicians (Pure Magic)

The Marquis are composed of recon Magi heavily relied upon interference tactics and communication support as well as hacking. They're supervised by Mami and Kyouko themselves. The faction contains the Scholars (Information and Logistics) and Crackers (Interference and Recon)

The Nobles were a group of girls consisting of the
Seekers (Research and SCIENCE!) and the Medics (Healing). These groups were mostly kept away from combat by Mami but still received basic training from Kyouko since their job was mostly to be on guard on site while waiting for the injured or coming up with new theories that would help in combat situations.

The Medics may not have girls injured by Kyouko but they were the faction most suspectible to Grief Spirals whenever they screw up and such. That and their faction was mostly kept mixed with the others so the contrast in some of their powers may have caused the spirals in the first place but the pure Medics may have been the ones Yuu had been observing the past few nights after the first sign of distortion arose.

The Medics are capable of Ruki's Healing Grace skill so it wouldn't be hard for them to oversee and heal as many injured girls.
For your viewing pleasure.

...she's...cute?

What?

...yep. Time to surrender to Morpheus for the night. Does not compute.

Thank you rabbit. Now if that could get a threadmark so we don't miss something that we really should already know again, that would be stellar, thank you.

Edit: Wait, it gained one between refreshes. Okay. Excellent.

It's okay. I've literally forgotten what all of them do.

I'm honestly happy with how this turned out. This could have been much worse. My opinion of Reiko's a bit...divided. While she seems a little (okay a lot) scary, she does seem to be a little polite with how she listened to Homura's request to not take her photo. While she couldn't tell Homura about confidential work related information (which is understandable), she did bother to tell her a bit about herself. She also warned Homura about the Infinity Festival and told her to stay safe. If it wasn't for the fact that she works for a highly influential group that can be a huge threat, I would honestly want Homura to befriend her. After all, Homura does need some friends in this world besides the ones inside her soul.

So SUCCESS!

In fairness, we all missed it, so its not like its Sk8torchic's fault. That's really something we all should have known better on.

See! I can play nice too! I'm not out to kill you every waking moment! Unless you give me a reason *mumble mumble*. I'm going to bed. See ya later.
