Hopefully an interior capital will help distribute the wealth through China better, and it's much more defensible.

[X] Repay Syndicalists

I think we really should do this because we may be more moderate than them, but anti imperialism isn't going to make us any friends with anyone else.

We promised. And in any way, the people saying otherwise aren't from our wing of the party.

The greatest favor we can do the Syndicists right now is to strike at the Legation cities, and dare the world to do anything about it. Invite a German invasion-they will not be so lucky a second time!

Looks like there's also a focus for indochina?
The one in the middle can be done on either path, but because of the earlier decision to work with the DVQDD it should be locked as well. I'm not actually sure what the one on the left does but probably just something to do with sending volunteers.

It's defensible, it's near a bunch of other cities and it's right on the Yangtze. Not a bad choice.

Belgium decided it hated the Dutch and attacked them.

Our first tank divisions are basically Panzer Is we stole from the Qing. Which is not exactly a good tank to be using at this point but hey, we're not going to be fighting anyone with tanks for a bit so it's fine.

Realizing how bad the situation has gotten. The Pacific Adminstration and Huey Long have called a Temporary truce to focus on defeating Reed.

The Netherlands fell quickly. Cuba grabbed their Caribbean holdings. Belgium grabbed some border area and Germany grabbed their chunk of East Asia.

With the Autonomous Ethnic regions created we can finally focus on the last remaining bit of China outside of our control besides the Legations. The bandits holding Xinjiang have already overthrow the KMT officers within the Region, peace is not an option.

Indochina is doing incredibly well against Siam.

Okay then, that's not what I'd call a normal alliance but hey, you do you Costa Rica.

Kaiser Wilhelm II, third Kaiser of the German Empire, is dead. No one in China is inclined to mourn the Imperialist who made our country suffer so. But even the most radical can't deny that his death feels like the end of an era in many ways.

The slightly less racist faction of white people in South Africa has one the civil war. It seems likely they will rejoin the Entente soon, adding their strength to the war effort.

We cannot deny the amount of help France the UoB gave us after the failure of the first Northern Expedition. But that doesn't change the facts on the ground, we're not Syndicalists and the Internationale is a world away. We can't let ourselves be tied to them.

Siam was defeated. Burma grabbing a chunk, while Indochina grabbed some of it's rightful land and made a puppet out of the rest.

The Xinjiang Clique was defeated easily enough. At a glance it may look as though China is at last reunited, but the Legations remain. Our duty is not yet done.

The Co-Prosperity Sphere was Japanese Imperialist plain and simple. To prevent the Region from ever falling to Imperialism ever again we need to form our own alliance, a true alliance. The East Asian National League will ensure we never have to endure another century of Humiliation.

We only have two nations willing to join our alliance. Indochina (And by extension Siam) and the Philippines.

Thankfully though they're pretty good allies.

Politically we have two paths going forward. One will be to embrace democratic institutions at a local level and push towards real elections.

The other would be Continued Tutelage. Delaying extending democracy for some time while we work on perfecting the government and ensuring the Three Principles are fully embraced by the nation.

So we do keep marching towards democracy or do we pump the brakes for sometime (IE: past the scope of the game) in the name of safety and political need?
